How to eliminate scratches on iphone screen

I sadly left my iphone fall unprotected on the floor. As a result it got a few scratches on the screen surface which I'd really love to get rid of. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Cledson

Replace the phone. $199. There are independent shops who will replace the screen, and you can even get kits to do it, but either of these will void your warranty (if any). don't go the kit route unless you are experienced with working with microelectronics.

  • Scratches on iPhone screen

My iPhone has a number of small but visible scratches on the screen. Anyone had any success in getting rid of such scratches?
    Thanks.

I got a new iPhone this week...beautiful. I am wondering now, just how fragile is the screen, when it comes to scratches? I have no problem buying a case of sorts, but I don't want to interfere with the sensitivity of the screen. If th screen is actually quite rigid and resists scratches, I'd prefer to pass on the case with a screen cover.
I had a Blackberry Storm before, did buy an "invisible shield" for it, and it was fine. But then I attended a demo where a guy actually ran his set of keys across the screen, with no damage. So, for the iPhone in particular, are all these sceen protector salespeople just trying to encourage us to part with our dollars, or will I egret not protecting the screen? Thoughts?

  • How to i stop my iphone screen from jumping everywhere?!

i have a iphone 5c and i dropped in water maybe 6 moths ago and ive had it for a year and a half. for maybe a month my phone has been glitching really bad.
ill unlock my phone and try to go to my text messages or something but my screen will go to the app store or settings or safari. if i am typing i wont be able to use the keys 'u' 'n' 'h' '!' or '7' but sometimes it will type "uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" until i lock my phone for it to stop. the only way i can stop all of the glitching is if i lock my phone and unlock it. i had ios 8.0.2 so i was waiting for an update hoping it would cure it. ios 8.3 came out today it was fine for maybe an hour and 30 minutes and the problems soon returned. maybe some of the phones cant handle the new updates because there are more people having my same problem. so anyone pleaseeeeeee heeeeeelllllllpppppppppp me!!! youd be my hero =)!
p.s. ive tried the soft rest, the hard reset, the factory rest, forced reboot, recovery mode, ive reset my phone as a brand new iphone so im sure this is a software problem and there arent any apple stores in alabama :/

  • How do I lock my iPhone screen while on the phone

I don't think you can lock the phone while on a call. It should go blank when you place the phone near your ear, though.

  • How to fix my iphone screen because it blacked out and it still works

how can i fix my iphone screen .
It blacked out but my phone still work help!!!!

    Hi zhamond,
If your screen is black but the phone appears to still be responding, you may have inadvertently activated a feature known as Screen Curtains (part of the Accessibility functions). You may find the following information from the iOS manual helpful (pg 126):
Turn the screen curtain on or off. Triple-tap with three fingers. When the screen curtain is on, the screen contents are active even though the display is turned off.

  • How to get past "could not activate iPhone" screen

Trying to wipe and start from scratch with an old iPhone 4 that I do not want to activate as a phone.  How do I get past the "could not activate iPhone" screen?  I did this once on my other old iPhone 4 and it worked without issue.

It's a Verizon/CDMA phone.  If it has a SIM, it's likely not activated and never has been.  Then again, same is likely true of my other iPhone.  "Likely" as in I have no recollection of ever asking Verizon to activate the SIM.
Again, I don't WANT to activate it.  I just want to use it like an iPod Touch.

  • How to fix a scratch on the screen...?

    Hey Folks,
While I was at the airport yesterday - some smart *** bumped into me and dropped my iphone on the ground (face first) and I got a scratch on the sreen maybe 2cm long and .5mm width (same depth, I would say - sorry for being very technical)...
Now when I turn on my iphone and when the light some on the screen there is a multicolor reflection coming from this scratch, which is super annoying cause when you are looking on your screen you can notice this multicolor reflection at all times.
So - how can I find a solution to this? Is there any? Or I just gotta live with the fact that I have a noticeable (and super annoying scratch on my screen).
    Thanks,
    -Joey

What did you use and how did you use it? Sounds like you do auto body work. Can you give the details and instructions on how to accomplish this.
No I'm not in the auto body biz, I do make detailing products though and my hobby is customs and hot rods.
I use a very high end polish that's not found in stores but can be bought online or by phone. The maker is Zaino Bros... http://www.zainostore.com These polishes and glazes form a very tough protective coat on high end finishes. The cars in this link http://dftowel.com/lsc are treated with Zaino so this should give you an idea what can be achieved.
To protect the phone I first lightly wiped it down with a dilution of Dawn dish detergent which removes all greases and oils that may be on the surface. Just dampen a sponge and wipe the surface.
I then polished and buffed with Zaino Z-2. This was done three times front and back.
For the final coat I lightly applied Zaino CS which is a hard glaze and allowed it to dry for an hour before using the phone.
The buffing towel used is a DF Concours Towel http://dftowel.com. (DON'T USE AN OLD T-SHIRT!!! IT WILL SCRATCH)
These steps will form a very hard protective coat on the phone and yet it is optically clear. Fingerprints, dust, smudges, whatever just wipe right off.

  • HT1766 my iphone screen is blank how do i fix it

my iphone screen is blank how do i go about restoring it to factory setting .

Before you do a factory default reset, try just resetting the phone.  Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down until the Apple logo appears on the screen and wait for phone to restart itself.
If this doesn't help, you will need to turn on iTunes on your computer.  Connect your phone using the sync cable.  Select the phone in iTunes on the left hand navigation panel.  On the phone's summary page in iTunes click the Restore button and wait for the phone to restore itself.  If iTunes asks if you want to restore from a backup say no.  Or you will be right back to where you were.
You will have to re-load all your apps and music.  If you have any pictures that you want to save, see if you can connect the phone to your computer without iTunes running.  Then in your computer browser (Not sure if you are on Windows or Mac) see if you can find your phone.  If so, open it up like a drive, open the folder that contains your pictures and drag them to a folder on your computer.
By not restoring from a backup you lose everything and really do get back to factory settings.  Which means starting from scratch.
