? How to embed images in email so that they actually show up when sent?

Hello, out there--
I'm going to send out a group email that contains a few images. I created the doc in Word and pasted into Apple email--this step was successful enough--but when I send to myself as a test, the images don't come through--there's just a rectangle where they should be. I have tried saving the image in various formats (jpg, png, etc), but to no avail. Any thoughts on how to format an photo so it will go through the mail as an embedded image?

Hello - I have the same problem with embedding images to send to windows users. I can see images if I email my self, but I use a Mac Mini. When Windows users open the email, they are reduced to attachments to open.
Frustrating, if you find an answer, please share. I just sent in request to support community.

drag the image to the email. that's all. how it will show on the other end depends on the email client configuration of your email recipients, not on you.

Well, it's not complicated at all really. Just put the cursor in a message where you want the image and drop it in, or else click the stationery button in mail, choose a template, drag over the placeholder "greeking" text and replace it with your own, then drag your own photos into the placeholders. Here's a look at one of the templates. You can see that as my mouse is over the right hand image it tells you to put your own photo there in place of the sample. Moving over the other ones does the same thing.

To disable/reset Tab groups:
Click the name field of each tab group in the Panorama window (Shift+Ctrl+E) and reset each name to an empty string.

How to embed image in email

Before iCloud I could attach a small image or pdf in my email and the recipient could see it in the body of their email. Now with iCloud all I can seem to do is attach a file as an icon. How can I embed an image now?

I click and drag a picture from my desktop no problem... and from iPhoto I can click share>email and an email opens with pic on page. Where in the cloud are the pics and files you are wanting to send that act as you describe?

I cant seem to be able to change the secutity questions on my minor daughters itunes account. I set the account up but I do not remember adding the security questions and they do not make sense to me. It says that the alternate account it would be sent to is@ me.com but I can not figure our how to get to it to retreive the email to reset the questions. My daughters account may have recently been hacked so I am trying to change all passwords. I changed the itunes account and added another email but I still can not change security questions in case I ever need them.

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove your email address from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info on any public forum).
The reset link on an account will only show if there is a rescue email address on it, alternate email addresses are different and not used for resetting them. If she has a rescue email address on her account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down this page will give you a reset link on the account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
Navigate to appleid.apple.com using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
If she doesn't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

Hi,
Unfortunately, You will not be able to view the graphics within the Long text editor screen.Only Limited word functionality is available on these editors.
You will have to store these pictures separately as an attachment, through generic object services and then view them through that.

Eric, thanks for the info about the pictures, it worked. The mail icon is not the one that came with the mac(it looks like a stamp with an eagle) this appears at a notepad with a ruler,paintbrush and pencil. I can not open it, I did not download it and now I can not turn off the computer with shutdown I have to manually turn if off by pressing the power button. This can not be normal. No one can give you that. Ask your manager to contact the previous owner of the device. They are the only one who can help you with this, either by providing the correct ID and password, or erasing the phone and removing it from their account as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515.

You're using a POP email account and that is how it works. If you are able to, try setting it up as IMAP instead of POP. If you can't, then you are stuck with it the way it is.

"The reply" as in the Rescue email to reset your Security Questions? If so, then you will have to contact iTunes Support directly to get them reset:

It sounds like you are trying to change the Apple ID logged into the iTunes & App Stores on your iPhone. Use these steps:
Changing your Apple ID account
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in.
Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID.

Pretty much the the email that I used (but didn't verify) to create my iCloud account was hacked and now I can't remove it from my iCloud account due to the iCloud password also being changed by the same person and the fact I had "Find my iPhone" app on my phone also??? I had to change my iTunes email as well but that was far easier so yeah :S.
Please help. I live in NZ, out in the country, so reception is rare and so is getting into the nearest town that has an Apple Store.

If you truly change your existing Apple ID's email address to a new email address, follow these instructions: iOS 7: If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud
