How to embed photo in email on ipad

I was hoping to use my iPad to post photos to my blog via email. This requires me to embed photos in the email so they will show up on my blog. However, the mail app on my iPad automatically converts any photos I paste into my emails into an attachment, which prevents it from showing up on my blog. Is there anything I can do about this?
Alternately, are there any other mail apps for iPad that can be used to solve this problem?

The iPad's Mail app isn't converting anything.
As with the Mail app on a Mac, photo/image attachments are displayed inline or viewed in place within the body of the message which is not embedded. Photos/images are sent as true attachments to the message. How such attachments are displayed within the body of the message by the recipient depends on the recipient's email client - such attachments will be displayed inline or viewed in place as well, or as separate files which must be selected separately to be viewed.
Embedded requires HTML for message composition, which the iOS Mail app does not support so there is nothing you can do about this. iOS 5 will support RTF, not HTML.
I'm not aware of any other email clients available for the iPad.

  • How to send photos as email attachments???

This is a ridiculously easy and simple question but I'm a mac newbie and can't figure out how to send photos as email attachments, not embed them in the body of the email. Every time I go to send a picture or group of pictures from i-photo an email message opens....the pictures are embedded in the body of the email and that's how they appear to receipients. In a test, I've sent them to a PC...the message comes through just fine but the photos don't have separate attachments that I can click on and "save as." they come through as bitmap files. Any ideas? THANK YOU.

It will not ALWAYS fix the problem that this topic is about; I had my Mail preferences set to send as Plain Text and it did not fix the problem. Additionally, since there is NOT an option in Iphoto as you previously noted, it might be confusing to some people.
However, for those of you who have the same problem, there seems to be a solution that worked for me. I also had the problem that Mail was overriding my sizing preference when I selected them in Iphoto (share > email) and always sending them as small instead of medium as I preferred.
Since it seems that sometimes Mail does not deploy the plain text default so you need to kick start it to remember. This is how I did it....
    - Select the photos you want and hit SHARE > EMAIL in Iphoto
    - Now, in Mail click on the photo browser button
    - Find another photo in Iphoto via the browser and drag and drop it into the email that you're composing
    - You'll see a size option appear in the bottom right hand corner
    - Playing around with the sizing option a few times kicked it into gear and it seems to be working better since then
I hope that helps anyone who has had the same problem.

  • How do I delete multiple emails on iPad 3rd generation

How do I delete multiple emails on iPad 3rd generation with 7.0.6 os? There is not an option to delete more than one at a time. I would like to delete all at once.

It's possible there's an easier way, but this worked for me:
To “delete all”  emails on ipad
    From each Inbox...
    Tap “Edit”
Tap “Mark All” then tap “Mark as Read”
    Again, tap "Edit"
Select first email (adds dot and check mark)
Put your finger on “Move” without releasing
With other hand, put finger on first email and Slowly Drag down on email list then release
(your other finger is still on “Move”)
Deselect first email (it may take a couple of taps)
    Release “Move”
Wait a while if you have a large number of emails
    Tap the Trash icon
All your emails should be deleted

The current version of the Mail app on Mac OS X doesn't include a "bounce" feature either as it is largely useless. Most spam comes from either bogus address or ones that aren't monitored.

To sync any photos that are not part of photo stream, you will need to sync the photos to your computer via iTunes first and then to the other device.
WC, will this work from photostream on my computer too?  I just turned photo stream on on my computer.  Thank you.  Liz

    Hi there China2,
If you are using Windows, then head to Windows Explorer, plug your device in, select your device and you can copy the images over from the device to any location on your computer as normal.
On a mac, plug your device in, launch iPhoto, and click import.
    Hope this helps,

How to transfer hoot from pc to iPad?

You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import.
