How to embed pp viewer in powerpoint package?

I want to show my PP 2010 slide on another computer. Unfortunately, that pc has an older version, PP 2007. I heard that I can embed a viewer on the slideshow, so I can play it on a computer which doesn't even have Office. How to do it? And if not, is there
another way to play the slideshow? Thank you very much!

Actually, there is no way to embed a viewer on the slideshow and let it play on another computer without PowerPoint.
However, we could package a presentation for CD to do that.
File > Export > Package Presentation for CD

At last, I can confirm that PowerPoint File created by 2010 could be opened by PowerPoint 2007. There might be something for that machine.

Viewing Large PowerPoint File

We are moving from Palm Treos to iPhones and I have a user concerned about viewing PowerPoints. How does a user view a PowerPoint (or any large file) in an iPhone which is too large to email? Average 50MB.
In the Treos we upload the file and open it from its drive.

If you can put those Powerpoint files to a Web page accessible for iPhone user, you can just view Powerpoint file from a web link.

I hava a standard DynPro application.
I would like to add a link UI which by pressing it will activate a JavaScript function. Can someone please show me how to do it and ingeneral how to embed JavaScpript in a DynPro View?

This (protocol javascript:) probably works in current releases but in future releases it will be disabled by default for security reasons.
The set of allowed URL protocols will then be configurable in the J2EE server.

I am having 1 ipa file created using Xcode, Now i need to include that file in my ipa Package which is created using Flash CS 5.5 and Air for iOS. Also i need to know how to open my 1st ipa file from AS3 ?

But in that case user need to download 2 applications right. I need user to download my parent application created using Flash and that package contain one more ipa created using Xcode, so from my parent app only user should able to open my 2nd app. Is there any way to do that?
Ps: I am not talking about in-app but 2 individual apps inside one package.

Would you please provide the complete error message to us so that we can narrow the issue down?
Does this error happen to other presentation files? If it only happens with the particular file, we can try the following steps to see if you can open it successfully:
1. Create a blank presentation file.
2. In the blank presentation file, under Home tab, click the New Slide drop-down list, and then click Reuse Slides.
3. In the Reuse Slides task pane, click Browse > Browse File. Click the damaged presentation, and then click
Open.
4. Right-click one of the slides in the Reuse Slides task pane, and then click
Insert All.
If this operation is successful, all the slides from the damaged presentation, except the slide master, are inserted into the new presentation.

How to embed fonts in PowerPoint?

Is it possible to embed fonts in a PowerPoint presentation?

I just spent a half an hour looking through the menus and Help and I couldn't find an option to enable that feature. It doesn't seem to be available. But, that doesn't mean it's not possible. There are certainly work-arounds, like printing your slide show and then choosing to save as a PDF. The PDF could be displayed with Acrobat Reader on any computer and the fonts would be imbedded.

Hi, I have met this problem very similiar with you.
It tell me the language of package and logon are different, so I was unable to create package.
I found a workaround to slove it..
I change my package language from English to English(USA).
Just a tip.

Is there a way to embed a youtube video into a powerpoint presentation on a mac? I have seen many tutorials on how to embed a youtube video into a powerpoint on a PC, but not on a mac. I know you can put on offline movie movie in a powerpoint, but I want to have it online. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Your best bet is to write a view that queries the source tables and contains any necessary business logic
CREATE VIEW VBASE AS SELECT A.COLUMN_A FROM TABLE_1 A, TABLE_2 B, TABLE_3 C WHERE A.ID = B.ID AND B.ID = C.ID;
create a view for exposure to the user that queries the base view.
CREATE VIEW VSECURE AS SELECT COLUMN_B FROM VBASE;
and grant privileges to VSECURE.
GRANT SELECT ON VSECURE TO SECURE_USER;
This will allow the user to see, query, and describe VSECURE without seeing the definition for VBASE.
The advantage of the this approach is that the query engine can still push predicates down into the base view to optimize the performance or the query where as this is limited with the pipeline function and can become a tuning headache.

How to open and display a powerpoint file.

I'm working on an app that I would like to have open and view a powerpoint presentation. How would I go about doing this? Is there already some framework available that'll do it for me? Is there something that'll let me convert it to a pdf?

And there may be, but you won't likely find that here. Do some time searching Google and maybe you'll find code that someone was nice enough to make freely available, although I wouldn't count on it. Were i a programmer and took the time to read those docs and write the code, I'd want to be paid for my time. But there are a lot of programmers who swear by freeware! You may get lucky.

Is it possible for me to view a Powerpoint slideshow in Keynote??

My professor gives us the options to download and view her powerpoint slide shows on our laptops or print them out.. But I can't seem to get it to work. I looked into Powerpoint for Mac, and tried to download the 60 day free trial, but it wouldn't open properly. Same thing with Powerpoint viewer '98, and '04. All of them wouldn't open correctly.
Any help on how I can view Powerpoint slides on my Macbook Pro?

Keynote should open PowerPoint presentations, but your best bet may be to look at the free Open Office or NeoOffice suites, as they are designed specifically to be compatible with MS Office.
