I m quite new to flash website designing. so I've downloaded a free flash website template, that is using xml pages in it. & I m using adobe flash cs4. now I wants to embed youtube movie in one of its .xml page & I wants that it shows that movie when i open that xml page in adobe flash cs4. even I've pasted youtube embeded code in one of that xml page but it does not works. so please please please resole my problem as soon as possible.

How do you structure a full flash website without the timeline?

Hello there. I was wondering how to build and structure a full flash website using the OOP approach. I have an idea of how to structure an application using the MVC design pattern, but I cannot put things together in order to structure a whole website.

I'm nowhere near an expert on this topic, and I suspect that the overall purpose of your site would help guide the best approach to designing and developing it without the timeline. I've done a lot of this with Flash for a limited purpose - creating a client clip that has only one frame, but responds to user events with dynamic behavior. My suggestion would be to take a look at some of the books that cover this topic to get a better idea of exactly how you'd like to deal with this project.

How to download youtube videos to ipad without using a computer??? Looking to download some videos people created using Dr. Jean music. My kid used Dr. Jean in preschool and wanted to keep singing them at home.
Looking for a friend that doesn't use a computer. I myself have downloaded some kids educational stuff and added to itunes and then put on ipod/ipad using firefox.
Is there an easy way, so they don't go to the photo roll??

There are some Apps you can use, but be careful they will only download these videos inside the App, so you won't ba able to play them in your video app or share them.
Most popular is the app called "Video Download" but there are a lot of alternatives for free and even with more quality which you can pay for.

You would have to add it to the mail server ( if you have an IMAP account), then it will appear on the ipad.

You can give a direct link to the YouTube URL, as you probably know, or you can download the YouTube .flv or mpeg4 and link to that. Or use vixy.com or other converter to download the YouTube video as .mov, then put it through the encoder (no significant degradation), and present it as an flv.

Pages is not a web browser, and can't pull information from the web. There is no way to do what you want, as far as I know.

Is it possible to make a copy of a youtube movie on a DVD? My wife is doing a presentation and would like to end with this movie from youtube either embeded in the powerpoint slide or on a separate DVD. Is this possible?

You can download the flash based youtube videos with help of a webpage like http://www.techcrunch.com/get-youtube-movie/
After having it on your Mac you can convert it into Quicktime format using iSquint and drag the resulting file (A) into the clipboard of iMovie. From here go to iDVD. If you have Toast you also can make a Video CD or DVD directly from the QuickTime File (A).
The quality may not be very good though!

I have create a website using Flash, php, and MySQL. The
website dynamicly loads the entire text and image in the Flash.
Now I wish to improve the website ranking in google search
engine. I undrestand that google search engine ranks the website
base on how many website has pointed in the the one that we are
intrested in its ranking. Do advertising the website improves its
ranking? After, google cannot read the text of my flash website. I
am just puzzled with the entire issue and was wondering if someone
can be kind enough to help me on this.

Can you please help me more, i am using eclipse on linux OS and trying to play video,using JMF,by using jmf.jar,mediaplayer.jar,multiplayer.jar files in my applications ,and when i run my class it gives error "No media player found" as there is no media player in linux,so how can i play my video in real player or in some other player in llinux using eclipse.
iam using sample code provided by JMF to play video.

How to stream YouTube video in PDF document using ID 5.5?

I'm using ID 5.5 and know how to insert a video into a document using the Media palette, "Insert video from URL" option. However, I need to stream a YouTube video in an interactive PDF document, and when I try to insert the link from YouTube into the "Insert Video from URL" box, ID doesn't recognize it. I assume this is because YouTube video links don't end with a typical video format file-name ending, such as ".mp4" or ".mov"
Has anyone been able to stream a YouTube video into a document using ID 5.5? If so, how did you do it?
Downloading the video and inserting it as a regular video file isn't an option because we need to keep the PDF file size down.

It can't be done. A YouTube video cannot be streamed in any digital publishing media—PDF, EPUB, or DPS.
There are applications which claim to be able to convert a YouTube video into a real digital publishing format like H264-encoded MP4 (preferred), but you'll have to investigate those on your own.

Yes, that article should apply to tablets.
But if your USB recovery drive does not get recognized then it must be corrupted - you should be able to format your disk and perhaps try to see if creating a Recovery device on other devices will make it recognizable on your tablet 2.
