How to enable administrator account in windows 8

I need Administrator Account access to install SQL server 2005 in Windows 8 and I tried all Possible or given solution in PC but I'm not succeed to enable this account.. I tried lusrmgr.msc also but there is nothing option.
Mainly I couldn't find the option Local User and group management option in Windows 8..
and also i tried from cmd by net user administrator /active:Yes
but command displays access denied

Anybody knows how to enable default account field in UCM.

Not sure what you mean by default..
But to enable accounts.
Administration>>Admin Server>>select the content server button>>General Configuration
Enter into Additional Configuration Variables:
UseAccounts=true
Or to only show accounts on the UCM via a dropdown list when you checkin content.
Administration>>Admin Server>>select the content server button>>Content Security
Select: Show only known accounts Checkbox.
Hit save.
Restart Content Server.

Adobe Air Application only works using Super Administrator account on Windows XP

i really need some help. I developed air application that uses remote service, sql lite etc. It is working on my computer WIndows XP sp2. To test, i even created a guest account and it works fine. But when i deployed it to our client, the application doest work. Only the login page appears. I ask the it personnel there and ask if there are any restriction on the account of the user and said there is none because they are using Domain account. But when the super administrator is logged in, it works

These options might be dangerous. If someone who knew nothing about the program with this function and he uses this program, it might hurt his system. Since this, it would be better not to post this code in the forum to avoid someone tried the code and hurt

How to - enable - multi touch - in windows 7 ultimate - for my G560 touchpad

I and my friend have the lenovo G560 laptops. I am running windows 7 ultimate and my friend is running ubuntu 11.04 OS in our laptops.
In Ubuntu: The multi touch is enabled by default for the laptop touch-pad. For vertical scrolling, we can use two fingers to navigate.
In Windows 7 Ultimate: I don't know how to enable this multi-touch feature.

control panel > hardware and sound > mouse > mouse properties > device settings > settings ( if you have synaptic mouse )
if you don't synaptic, check the mouse properties to enable/disable the features you'd like to.

Old domain was removed and Unable to login as domain administrator account in windows 7 laptop

that it is asking administrator password, so when I was entering old domain’s administrator account password it is not logging in, and there is no other local administrator account configured on that machine, how to log in into that machine and join that to

Logon to a domain with domain account is an interactive process, which needs cooperation of both DC and DNS. Since the old domain is delete, then, log in as <domain-name>\administrator to the old domain will failed.
Open CMD, type “net user”, and press Enter to display user account of this computer. Check to see if any account which has administrator permission you can remember.
Besides, type “net user administrator”, if the Account Active is YES, try to use this built-in administrator account to logon:
Press Alt + Ctrl + Delete, select Switch User -> Other User, type <computer name>\administrator. (there may be no password if you haven’t set this)
If there is no administrator permission account which you can use to logon, reinstall the system should be needed.

In the above you specify the source network where you are going to connect to the ASA. The source interface is also mentioned. This is the interface behind which the users are located. It might typically be "inside" and/or "outside". You can enter multiple statements if you are managing from multiple different networks.
For example
telnet 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0 inside
ssh 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0 inside
ssh 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.255 outside
In addition to this you can naturally configure local AAA on the ASA so you can use a username/password to authenticate.

Yeah, I suppose using terminal is also an option. But I'm really much more of a GUI guy, it's what I grew up using, and what I'm most comfortable with, so if I can find ways of doing things without having to use terminal, that's usually the way I go. And besides, why have a mac with such a beautiful GUI if you're not going to use it? Haha.
I need to enable the root account as the only way my school has found to successfully install machine certificates to get our 802.x WEP wireless to work involves changing settings using the root account. Again, I'm sure there's probably a way of getting it to work using CLI and sudo, but just makes more sense for me this way.

I have done something stupid -as you do-concerned with security I changed my administrator account type to user type thinking that my other user account would automatically become the admin account.
Now I have an unknown account [which could be Toshiba factory account] as the administrator which asks me for an unknown password for certain tasks etc.
Can anyone help me out with any suggestions other than restoring my computer back to its factory settings pleeeease?

YEAH I do not know why I have done this -BUT-
I do not have an account with admin priv. Windows was installed at the factory and after consulting and trying a few things with Windows support[at cost] it was suggested that the admin password prompt that appears is probably toshibas ALSO this account name is hidden from me all that appears is the password promt box when I go to change anything requiring admin. permission. Windows suggested transferring all my files etc. that I wanted to external device and then contact Toshiba to reset to factory settings I am trying to desperately avoid this- WHAT A MESS thanks for any input-

I want to unlock a user account in Windows Server 2003.

But I can not get it to work. According to the post the only thing you need to do is:
"+to unlock an account, just set the value of the attribute lockoutTime to zero+".
When I set lockoutTime to zero nothing happens. The user can still not logon.
When I read the lockoutTime attribute for an account that is locked it is empty or zero if I have tried to unlock it earlier.
So it doesn´t seem to change when the account is locked.
