I am about to lose my mind! I just got a nook like 3 weeks ago and I can't figure out how to enable my adobe flash player. So I've been having a really hard time trying to watch videos on youtube. Will some kind soul help me out and write back to me telling me how to enable it Please?

Nook is an e-ink book reader, and I doubt the device will support things like Flash Player. I have no idea how they could make that work with an e-ink display.
It's designed to be a device to read ebooks, not a device to surf the internet. Additionally, it runs the Android Operating System and Adobe stopped ALL development of Flash for Android in July of 2012.

How to enable Adobe Media Encoder in Nvidia Contol Panel

Hi everyone,
I am having a serious issue.
Adobe Media Encoder is showing enabled gpu acceleration (Cuda). However,
Project: small test file. 35 seconds in length.
Composition: After Effects with Camera Rig, expressions = 4
Lights = 2 . "Camera Rig " 3D text.
Length 35 seconds
Dell Precision M6800 Workstations X 2
System Build: Windows 7 pro , OS SSD, 32gb Ram.
Graphics Card: Nvidia Quadro K4100M .
As the project is imported to Adobe Media Encoder
Set to 1080p h.264.
Ame indicates for a 35 second file will take 25 hours to render. !
Also and a big one is AME is running the system CPU at 100 %.
Lastly the Nvidia Quadro is set and enabled for running on Open CL.
Somehow Adobe Media Encoder is not running or being pushed by the graphics card.
Any help would be appreciated. I have been in touch with Adobe support and they are checking into this as well as Nvidia level 2 support.

Have received a msg on certain websites to upgrade java flashplayer. when I go to adobe, msges come up that flashplayer must be installed I'm the spreadsheet app - which then doesn't open.

I cannot print pdf documents in Acrobat 9.4!! Major Problem!!
Running a new PC with Windows 7 (64 bit) and Office pro 2010 + firefox 3.6.13.
New version of Acrobat 9.4. was installed.
** The Problem is I am unable to print/save any PDF files because PDF printer does not work.
When I attempt to print a PDF file from any other program (Office, Outlook, or Firefox) and then select PDFprint printer, I get an error message that the print command has failed and that the host program (e.g. firefox, outlook etc needs to restart!
Unable to save PDF files from web or from any other program.
Many attempts were made to fix, repair, or reinstall acrobat 9 have all failed to correct this.
Please provide help.

Adobe has not released a copy of Acorbat that fully works with Windows 7 64bit and Office 2010.
Have you looked at "Save at PDF/XPS" in MS Office?
You may need to run the applications in the 32bit mode.

How to enable Adobe Reader to call Webserices

Hi,
I am using the following javascript in a PDF file to call a webservice (dataconnection)
xfa.host.messageBox("Calling connection.Execute");
xfa.connectionSet.guidConn.execute(0)
xfa.host.messageBox("Done");
When I run this in Acrobat Professional it works fine and calls the webserivce and returns the data. But when I open the PDF using Acrobat Reader, the webserivce does not execute. I only get the frist messagebox and then the execution halts. I have already tried the "Extend features in Adobe Reader" but it does not help.
Is there any else needs to be done so that Adobe reader can call Webservices? Or is it even possible at all?

Thanks Irosenth, looks like there is no way around this if I have to make a call.
As a workaround for my problem at hand, I am trying to find a way to generate a unique id (sort of GUID) using the Javascript whenever the document is opened first time. So that each document can be uniquely identified. Hope Adobe software exposes some API to generate guid's

How to Enable Adobe Audition?

I am currently using Aodbe Premiere CC for a short film. I need to edit the audio with Adobe Audition, but the option is greyed out.
I tried to look if other people had my same problem, and I found that I should:
" Look for the default .sesx files in your Document/Adobe/Audition/6.0/Session Templates folder (on Windows 7)
There should be a list of preset .sesx files. Right-click one and set its default application as Adobe Audition by using the "open with" option."
I went to the folder but there is not that specific folder with the .sesx files. Does anybody know if I did something wrong?

Thanks for posting on Adobe forums.
As I understood, you are not able to get this option in Premiere Pro CC to edit clip in Audition.
1. Please make sure you have selected the audio clip, you want edit in Adobe Audition.
2. If the above said option is grayed out, please try to launch Audition, make sure its working fine.
Please check these two things for now, I will be researching and will update the post.

I am trying to figure out how to enable adobe readers to digitally sign PDFs I create. I currently have Acrobat Pro 9.
Customer Support said that I need to save it as a "Reader Extended" format, but I cant find this option anywhere.
Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, that video is for acrobat X or above and I cant find the "save as reader extended" option in Acrobat Pro 9.
