How to enable annotation in Adobe web plugin?

I am using Adobe reader XI. I am opening pdf in intenet explorer/chrome. But there annotations are not enabled.
Please do help to enable annotations in web plugin.
A prompt response will be appreciable.

Maybe commenting is disabled for that document? Can you comment on this PDF: http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/adobe_reader_reference.pdf ?
I don't know about mobile Reader; you would have to ask in the appropriate subforums.

I installed the Flash plugin from Adobe's yum repo, but there is no sound. When I look on the online settings manager, there is no control to set the sound output device.
On my system, there are multiple sound devices, only one of which works for playback - hw:1,0 in ALSA. In applications which
allow me to choose an audio device, that works.
The Totem media player, like Flash, has no audio settings.
But when I use gnome-sound-properties to set the default playback device to "ALC889 analog", Totem works. Flash does not.

However, I've solved it. Per http://www.seehuhn.de/pages/alsa, If I set the default ALSA device to card 1, then restart Firefox, Flash sound works. As does "aplay" with no options.

Log on to CMC -> Application -> Right Click on Web Intelligence Rich Client -> Select your user -> Assign Security -> Advanced tab -> Select "Unassigned Rights" in Common Filter Settings -> Select Enable Drill Mode in Rights Name Column -> And assigned grant level to it.

The Alerter also works in Webi - Advanced Editor.
Infoview > Preference > Web Intelligence > Select a default creation/editing tool > Select Advanced
(This is the second block of radio buttons, the first block is for viewing)
I have created an alert using the Webi - Advanced Editor
- saved the report,
- changed back Webi -Interactive
- the alerter button is enable (for this report only) but I can't change the format of the alert. All I can do is either enable or disable the alert.
Has anyone got the Alerter to work in Webi - Interactive?

How can I add an Adobe Flash Plugin?

I cannot find an "Adobe Flash Plugin" in my add-ons list. I search that name and it is not offerred to me.
I have updated Firefox and downloaded the update for "Adobe Flash Player". Why won't it add a plug in? I'm running Mac OSX 10.6.8.

How do I fix the Adobe Flash plugin? It crashed.

I was on www.sparkpeople.com and I saw the sad face associated with the phrase stating that the Adobe Flash plugin has crashed. I submitted a crash report, but what if anything can I do in the meantime to help this issue get resolved?

I'd start with disabling Hardware Acceleration, as described in the video troubleshooting guide below:
Video playback issues
If that solves the problem, make sure that your graphics drivers are current.
If it *still* happens with current drivers, please give us detailed information on the graphics card and driver, so that we can disable hardware acceleration on this configuration and start a conversation with the appropriate vendor.
The best way to get this information is to do the following (on Windows):
Open a command prompt
Type: dxdiag
Hit Enter
This should launch the DirectX Diagnostic Tool
Click Save All Information (or whatever that save button says).

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat Pro X. I have installed Acrobat Pro X on a machine that has never had Acrobat Pro installed on it. Each time I see only the shortened version of menu options.
So, why do I only see File, Edit, View, Window and Help? Where are the other menu items, such as Comments, Forms, Tools, etc? Is there something I need to do to enable them?

How to enable SOAP compression in web services

Hi, I have created a web services by exposing an EJB using annotations. Trouble now is that the output is an array of Objects which grew to a significant size to cause latency issue. I have saw folks using filters to compress the HTTP response but is unable to find much resources on the web linking up annotated-EJB web services to link up with the filters but most of the examples I see are based on handlers and not EJB-exposed web services, can someone point me to some resources for that type of web services + compression?
Another thing which caught my attention is the use of the <compress-html-template> tag which needs to be in the web.xml file, but since I am using a "generated" web services as per say, I do not have that web.xml file, how then can I use that feature?

all tables that have been created in V9.7 with attribute COMPRESS YES will be compressed statically .
db2 " select count(*) , rowcompmode from syscat.tables group by rowcompmode "
After the upgrade to 10.5 all tables created with attribute COMPRESS YES will get rowcompmode='A' but old tables created with V9.7 will stay with rowcompmode='S' .
You can change tables from rowcompmode='S' to rowcompmode='A' via ALTER TABLE . After this all new pages or old pages that are touched will be adaptively compressed. But old pages that are not touched will only be static compressed. To get all pages of an existinbg table adaptive compressed you need to move data. For example with DB6CONV.

How to enable byte serving(fast web view ) for pdf on tomcat 5.x server

I am new the site and this is my first request.
I have to download pfd, instead of waiting the user for complete download of the page, first I need to display first page, and then in the background I have to download the rest of the document. Which is byte serving. I try to implement byte serving (fast web view for pdf) for pdf files in Tomcat 5.x it is not working. The same functionality is working in other servers.
I have not done any coding to use byte serving in the other servers, simply I enable byte serving for pdf using the adobe.
Can any one help me …..

How to change default view in web plugin?

Anyone know how to set a default view in the Reader plugin in Firefox and/or IE? I'm getting sick of having to manually show the task bar and then un-toggle touch mode to get my scroll bar back every time I open a PDF. Thanks!

Thanks! I turned off Touch mode there (Edit\Preferences\General --> set
Touch Mode to "Never")
Then I poked around more and fixed the default view in
Edit\Preferences\Internet --> unchecked "Display in read mode by default"

Am doing one desktop application for Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 in Java. Am in need to enable the comment option in Acrobat. I have idea to do this requirement through some other Third Party Scripts. Even i done that by script means, i want to do the interaction between the script and my application in JAVA. So, The better way i chosen was creating the entire application by JAVA. I have found some information by Google. There is some package to access the Adobe called adobe-utilities.jar. By using the package we can access the adobe application. Can someone guide me to develop my application module?

I have found that some JAR like adobe-utilities.jar,j2ee.jar has some facilities to do the existing operations with a JAVA code. How do i REMOVE the Adobe Acrobat Plugin.

Every time i click [Disable] then restart FF, it's back, running again.
I do not want Acrobat, as i would rather use Foxit Reader.
The only button in the Addons manager is [Disable] there does not seem to be a [Uninstall] or [Delete this plugin] option. Nor does adobe acrobat appear in Add/Remove Programs in Control panel.
Nor did i even install it in the first place. (Must have come packed with another app)
Either way, i want it gone. Please tell me where FF Stores it's addons, and which file to delete to get rid of this infuriating nuisance.

How to enable "Open in Adobe Premiere Pro" function

I'm working with Audition CC 2014 and Premiere Pro 2014. I sent a squence from Premiere to Audition via "Edit in Adobe Audition". But now, when I try to export the track back from Audition to Premiere (Multitrack=>Export to Adobe Preniere Pro..."), in the dialoge box, the function "Open in Adobe Premiere Pro" is disabeled and I can`t mark it to enable the function.

Hmm. That box should only be disabled if Audition doesn't see a registry entry indicating that Premiere Pro is installed. But obviously, you have Premiere Pro installed if you sent a sequence to Audition. My first suggestion would be to do a reinstall of Premiere, but it might be worth finding out if you are running any anti-virus or system monitoring software that might protect or "repair" the Windows registry.
