How to enable Group Chat for Presence 8.5?

I've just upgraded my Presence to 8.5 and currently working swimmingly with CUPC 8.5. But still missed one step which is Group Chat.
From Administration Page, under Messaging, there are two settings i noticed which is
1.Group Chat and Persistent Chat Settings, looked like this;

There's no item in Server Aliases, do i need to add new?

You need to configure an off-box PosgreSQL database for this to work. CUP uses that database to store the chat room history. There is a database integration guide on CCO that covers setting this up.

I am trying to figure out how to enable remote debugging for a session other than the one I am currently using.
More specifically, we have an application that is making database calls to Oracle 11gR2. Something is causing an exception during this invocation. My system is currently not set up to recompile said application, so I can't just add the debug call to the code and recompile. Therefore I would like to be able to log into the database (as sys, if necessary) and invoke dbms_debug_jdwp.connect_tcp on the desired session.
The docs indicate that I should be able to do so:

I've tried granting the 'BECOME USER' privilege for the relevant users, but that didn't help. I read something about having to set some kind of ACL as of 11gR1, but the reference documentation was very confusing.
Would someone be able to point me in the right direction? Is this even possible, or did I misread the documentation?

Interesting deduction, that would be very useful indeed. I hate recompiling just to add the debug call, and it can't be done in our production environment. But it seems unlikely to me it would be implemented this way.
I would cross-post this in the SQL AND PL/SQL forum though, as this is really a database issue, not with the SQL Developer tool. Do add the links to the other posts in each.

You can only set up a Gmail account as an Exchange account if you have a paid account. Google dropped Exchange support for free accounts two years ago. That link is just a bit outdated.

How does iMessage Group Chat work?

I have a few questions about iMessage.
How exactly does iMessage group chat work? Does it send the message to each of my recipients as a broadcast sort of thing or does it actually create a group?
What if one of my recipients replies? Is the message seen by everyone in the group or just by the original sender?
What if i did want to distinguish between a broadcast message and creating a group?
Would really appreciate some help!

I too have a question about how im works in a group setting that I came across today.
I have a group of friends all in Canada(so there's no group messaging option in the settings->messages). Everyone had im enabled, then one person disabled it and now there is no group from my view. However, I'm receiving messages from other members and it shows up in the group view. If I were to reply it'd go as an sms. The same would happen if I were to individually msg that disabled im user(makes sense). But I'm confused as to how the group is not failing for the others but instead for me. This group was created by me, but that doesn't matter since there's another group it fails at too, so I'm completely lost here. Every other member in the group is able to use im in the group convo except me!

HI,
In the Depreciation tab, double click on the the Depreciation area, where you want to change the Group Asset. because Group asset is specific to the Depreciation area.
You will see the Group Asset field.
If you still do not see the Group Asset field, then you have to change the Screen Layout in the Customisation for the Depreciation area in T-Code AO21.

How to save groups-tabs for next time use?

I make some groups-tab by function of sites , like Email-group, News –group. If close FF beta 9, and option of startup is “show a blank page ” or “show my home page”, these groups were not be saved. If startup is “show my windows and tabs from last time”, all tabs of all groups will be opened, but they are own group.
There is some options, when I startup FF, only show groups, so I can choose which page in particular group I want open?

I have designed infopath form and published it into the document library. I want to provide signature option on the browser enabled infopath form.
I have created it using secion and digital signature control.
but I am getting this message.
When i click on Yes . I get following screen.
And it just hang here. I have enabled the active x control feature for IE.
Please tell me where i should install this component and how it can be done?
I have access only to the sharepoint site.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to enable digital signature for browser enabled infopath form.
To be able to sign this form, you need to activate two Windows Internet Explorer add-ons. Click the Information Bar in the dialog box, and then click Run ActiveX control to activate each add-on.
Then you need to active the following add-on.
In my environment, after I click the Next button, it open the picture as below.
Once I click the link to add the add-on as above, everthing works well.

How to configure group policy for emet via a command line

I have been tasked with installing emet on 50 servers that I only have access to with our patching server (so I can't remote in and open the gpedit gui). I can get it to install, but now the problem that I'm facing is I need to enable 6 of the group policies
for emet. Is there a way to do this while installing it? or a way to do it after the install?

cmd line you need to deal with is in the C:\Program Files (x86)\EMET 4.1 folder
specifically emet_conf --refresh would tell the systems to pull in the settings from a GPO they have already applied.
In a non - SCCM environment I would probably recommend using group policy preferences and create a task scheduler item on your servers that runs emet_conf --import
\\fileserver\settingsfile.xml on some sort of automated basis. Then you can just configure a client like you need and run the emet_conf --export
\\fileserver\settingsfile.xml whenever you need to change a mitigation etc and the clients will pick up on the change on their next run of the task scheduler item.
In general installing on servers isn't a great idea and is not the intended use case for emet however if you are DoD/Gov then DISA has mandated it so won't argue there. There's also the people that still have Internet access from servers so then it
would make sense in that environment as well.

The VT-x is running beautiful in my macintosh partition, but I can't understand why in my boot camp partition the VT-x remains disabled.

How to enable Staggered Spinup for DIsk-utility Software raid?

I have a Mac Pro 3, 1 (early 2008) and was wondering if the system supports staggered spin-up. I have four 7200.12 Barracudas in the drive bays and use them for software strip volume via SoftRAID.
If the system does support staggered spin-up, how can I enable it. I was previous user of Bios operated hardware, (PC user is misleading :-p) so I am not familiar on how to enable those options on Macs.

Unless SoftRAID does something, but there ARE disk drives that by themselves will I am pretty sure, whether it also depends on the controller, not sure.
I know some external RAIDs used drives that did (Maxtor had) and sometimes a disk wasn't ready on time. And tweaking the driver or firmware for the controller can help.
On a PC you can add a delay in the BIOS to wait, yes.
The whole idea is so that you aren't requesting 4-5 drives pulling the amps/watts needed at once making it lighter load on PSU.
Is there a problem? have you asked the excellent, quick and helpfull SoftRAID support? or just "curiosity?"

Don't receive group chats for a while and then all at once?

So I have an iPhone 6, and I've been having this problem with group texts for maybe about a month?
I used to get group texts when they were sent, but recently I wont get any for a couple days, and then suddenly my phone will ring nonstop for like a minute and I'll receive them all at once. The time stamps are all the original times - when I finally do receive a message it will still say "Tuesday, 8:04 AM" or "Today 10:59 AM" even if it's Friday at 9PM. I've tried restarting it, does nothing. I also have the latest update.
As far as I know this doesn't happen with iMessage - but all of my group texts have at least 1 person who has an android.
Anyone know how to fix this?

What carrier are you on? I have ATT and spent hours with them yesterday looking for a fix. No luck. They suggested I go to Apple. I have another friend on ATT with the same problem.
