How to enable IE11 x64 browser in windows 8.1 domain user

Hi all,
I was trying to enable IE11x64 bit browser in windows 8.1x64 bit ent for domain users and i was unable to enable it.
step 1: i enabled Enable enhanced Protection mode
step 2:It will be 64bit, only when this feature is checked, otherwise IE will still use a 32bit process.
Tabs are displayed in 32 bit.
can anybody help me with this issue.
i want 64 bit tabs to be opened instead of 32 bit

Start secpol.msc and go to Local policies > Security Options. Set "Accounts: Block Microsoft accounts" to "User's can't add Microsoft accounts".

To enable/disable Just-In-Time debugging
On the Tools menu, click Options.
In the Options dialog box, select the Debugging folder.
In the Debugging folder, select the Just-In-Time page.
In the Enable Just-In-Time debugging of these types of code box, select or clear the relevant program types:
Managed, Native, or Script.
To disable Just-In-Time debugging, once it has been enabled, you must be running with Administrator privileges. Enabling Just-In-Time debugging sets a registry key, and Administrator privileges are required to change that key.

We get plenty of error messages:
SPSecurityContext.WindowsIdentity: Could not retrieve a valid windows identity.
No windows identity for domain\user.
Our SharePoint 2010 environment consists of 2 app and 2 front end servers. We have plenty of SPSecurityContext.WindowsIdentity errors in our SharePoint logs. I found that this is related to C2WTS service. We have this service running under Local System account
and only running on both Front-end servers. We are not using Kerberos in our environment.
My question is should this service be configured with domain account even we are not using Kerberos?
Also should this server be started on App sharepoint servers?
Is any other way to prevent those errors?

Since local accounts are unable to query the domain, and I suspect that the Local System account uses a virtual local account (as opposed to the computer's domain account), then the same would apply to your C2WTS.
Yes, configure a domain account (DEDICATED, since C2WTS requires some VERY elevated privileges), and the C2WTS will be able to do all of its domain lookups.

You can access the repositry browser from your client.
Under Adminstration in OWB in Start-Program. click on Start OWB Browser Listener.
Then click on OWB/Repository Browser
Login to your repository.

It should be possible remove Nokia Phone Browser from Windows Explorer by going to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideMyComputerIcons\
and creating a Dword Value named
{416651E4-9C3C-11D9-8BDE-F66BAD1E3F3A}
with data of 1.
That didn't work for me so I went to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\ and changed the name of {416651E4-9C3C-11D9-8BDE-F66BAD1E3F3A}
(by adding a - on the end) to
{416651E4-9C3C-11D9-8BDE-F66BAD1E3F3A}-.
That worked and it's easy to undo the change.

I wish Apple would just have an "Unregister Phone #" option within the Messages settings, and possibly within your Apple Supprt Profile.

Enable Inheritance Security Setting wont stay applied on Domain User Accounts

The Weirdest thing is happening on a 2012 R2 DC, in order to fix the ActiveSync error event ID 1053 on exchange
2010, the fix is to Enable inheritance on the Advanced Security settings of the domain users that will be using ActiveSync...Ok...but here is the weird thing...I set the Enable inheritance on the users and apply them, then when I check back after however
long...the setting has now reverted back to disabled inheritance? this is happening on all user accounts?

Are you sure it's for quite literally all users, or all users in protected groups like the Domain Admins, Enterprise Admins and so on?
My guess - and it's only that at this stage, is that you're seeing this affecting protected groups and their members, in which case this is an expected behaviour based on how the AdminSDHolder functionality works.

I tried to access the same account

I agree with Martin, we can check the membership about this user account. Besides, we can refer to following steps to check the memberships:
Start the ADUC on windows 2012.
Right-click the user account and select
Properties, then click the Member Of tab.
Check which group is the user account belongs to.
In addition, i suggest you create a new user account, and check if the new account can change other user’s password.

How to enable triplefinger swipe gesture on Windows 8.1?

It works only the ALT+TwoFingerGesture to go back and forward on history.
In explorer I can go back and forward with a three finger swipe gesture, can it be enabled on firefox?

How to enable detail view interactive report as default for public user?

Hello all,
I'm currently developing a search results page.
I'm trying to do a nice view instead of a default table like view from the interactive reports. So in this case i enabled the detail view so i could make fancy designs.
all worked well and looked neat but however when i pass value from my search page using IR_ROWFILTER and clear the results page using page_no,RIR, it brings me to the interactive reports result page with the default table like view.
i have to press the detail view to get it. i tried saving it as default but it wont work. this issue is for public user.
if i make the page requires authentication, and save the detail view as default i would not have any problem. i could search and it will straightly bring to the detail view of the search page.
of course the other reason i found is because im using the IR_ROWFILTER and clearing page using page_no,RIR..without it,it works well but i need it coz im doing a a search result. i need to send search text from another page and put it in the filter in the search page. i would need to use RIR to clear it for searching again.
is this a limitation for public user? it doesnt happened for authenticated user though..
how can i make this view as default for public user?

Do you really need this to be an IR? Other than the detail layout, do you require any of the interactive features? If not, try using a standard report with a custom report template.

How to enable only one resource profile outof 3 while disabling user in OIM

I have 3 resource profile for AD user with 3 diffrent IT resources.
When i try to disable the user in OIM, then it disables all the resource profiles attached for that user.
I would like NOT to disable one of AD User Resource profile out of 3 .

This is the same post as one made about a week ago.
I would suggest the following:
1. Create an adapter that has an input of the domain, or some other identifying attribute. In this adapter, use logic to return a response of either DISABLE or DO_NOTHING.
2. Create a new Process Task called something like "Disable Resource Determiner". Attach your adapter you just made, and on your response codes, for DISABLE, trigger the disable task, and on DO_NOTHING, then do nothing... Set this adapter to be triggered on disable.
3. On your previous disable task, remove the disable trigger.
Now when your disable is triggered, you have logic to determine which target resource is being used, and then whether or not to disable the resource or do nothing.

Thanks! I see a potential problem--iTunes must be open on the main(?) other computer for sharing to works, according to some of the documentation. My situation is that daughter 1 grabs the main computer, access iTunes and her account. Then daughter 2 comes into room, screams upon seeing daughter 1 using the iTunes computer.
I want daughter 2 to calmly walk to computer 2, open iTunes and somehow seamlessly access her iTunes library. In that case, iTunes may be open on computer 1, but not with her library open or her id in force. It might also be the situation that computer 1 does not have iTunes even running at that time, if daughter 1 is on Facebook.
Can Home Sharing handle this situation?

The autoreply channel identifies the "respond to" user's e-mail address as NOT local, DEBUG=3 in the options file. The address to respond to is [email protected] Yet, the message never gets sent, the following message is in the trace file:
WARNING: Add sender's address failed: One of the specified addresses does not comply to RFC 822
I checked the auto generated aliases by dumping the IMTA_ALIAS_DATABASE. They are of the form: [email protected]
When the mail message comes from outside our subdomain, autoreply works fine. The message gets sent to our SMTP server. Here are the relevant lines from the imta.cnf:
! Rules to select local users
mailhost.mysub.ourdomain.com \ $U%$[email protected]
mysub.ourdomain.com $U%$[email protected]
<snip> lots of stuff
! autoreply
autoreply defragment subdirs 20
autoreply-daemon
I tried changing the rewrite rules from $U%$D to simply $U and that fixed it, but it broke the "reply to" for incoming messages. Any insights from anybody?
