How to enable JavaScript after downloaded ff25 running on Mac OS 10.8

Since I updated to FF25 I can't enable JavaScript which I need for sites I use.
I have the latest Java 7 version 45 but there is no plug-in appearing for Java.
I added Quickjava 2.0.2 I think this is the version, and clicked to enable java.
But when I visit the sites that require JavaScript I get an error message saying JavaScript not enabled.
When I test the java 'latest version' test from Java's web site using FF java cannot be detected, but it can when I do the same test using Safari.
How do I fix this?

When I go to that link, download and then attempt to install I get the message "Webe encountered the following issues, Installer failed to initialize. Please down load Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem" I then select the link "get adobe support advisor" that takes me to a site that describes a better support link since the one I have been sent to is no longer available. I then go to that site and am told to go to CC for desktop apps, that requires me to download CC... I don't want CC.. just want to have my CS6 PS work again.... so frustrating...

Thanks for responding, I downloaded the Creative Cloud Installer which is sitting under Devices in my Finder and then installed the Ai app which is appearing under Applications in the finder. I notice that in the launch tutorial there is the Adobe Creative Cloud sitting in the Apps folder above Ai - I don't have this. Hmm what to do?

How to relaunch application after download?

I have lanuched an webstart application form the internet and successfully run the application on my desktop, but once I close the app it is gone. I have no desktop shortcut to get to it again. How can I access my downloaded apps after download? Remember I have no desktop shortcuts to webstart or the app.

I have used Andrew's advice to install shortcuts, and they work fine. (desktop, start menu, icon image and running)
The impression I got from jnlp documentation was that I could have this done automatically, with out the user having to repeat such steps.
Is this possible?

Hi Vicky,
Please make sure that the Javascript is enabled on you IE.
To do this, please go to Control Panel->Internet
Options, click on security tab,
click on customer level button. Please scroll
down to Scripting, underScripting
of Java applets, click enable.
OR
Please try to start the Internet Explorer with option "Run as Administrator" to see whether it works.

Creative Cloud Desktop download utility running on Mac 10.8 fails to show apps/install apps

After purchasing subscription, downloading and installing the Creative Cloud Desktop Version (2.0.0.183) utility, I am unable to install a single app. When on the 'App' screen a spinning circle appears. I have tried reinstalling the Creative Cloud Desktop Utility many times, spoken with chat member who suggested deleting a database file in the OOBE folder, then restarting computer—none of these have worked. I have been struggling with this for over 5 hours, trawling forums with little success. I also have older versions of Adobe software (ie CS4. CS5, CS5.5 and CS6 which I do not want to delete).
I am running a Mac system 10.8, have 50 Gb drive space available and 32 Gb of ram.
Welcome any help as I purchased software subscription I cannot use.

KlippyKlein it sounds like you have archived the Opm.db file located in /Users/<UserName>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE is this correct?
If so can you also try renaming the Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE to OOBE_Old. Once this is done please reinstall the Creative Cloud application from https://creative.adobe.com/.

After downloading maverick onto my mac, when I send out mail via mac mail, it will say I'm sending ex. 20 of 20 when I'm only sending one. anyone else have this problem. I have had no comments from people receiving mail, that there is a problem.

I downloaded maverick and now mac mail says that I am sending or receiving many more emails than I really am. I have checked with people who are receiving my emails and they all claim there is no problem with virus, etc. Why is this doing this? any one else have this problem?

There is no need to do anything. If invoked via the adobe updater, they wil lbe installed azutomatically. if you manualyl downloaded them, make sure you download both files - the extractor and the actual 7z archive. The latter can also be manualyl extracted using tools like WinZip, WinRar or naturally, 7zip itself....

Open /web-inf/web.xml and look for the RDS servlet in it. If
it is
escaped, remove the escape markers and restart CF. Then
enable and set a
password for RDS in the Administrator.

How to start JDK after download

New to Java:
I'm at stage 1 of learning curve and cannot run the Java2 SDK v1.3.1_01after download (for Windows 95) . When I go Start>Programs>Java2 SDK v1.3.1_01 there are two text files.
I have created my first basic script and am trying to run the compiler to get started.
What do I do?
(I have spent lots of time searching the installation notes and the forum but still can't figure it.)

As I said, there is nothing that you need to do to enable the OpenGL features. They just work automatically.
Regarding the CUDA feature, the ray-traced 3D renderer: That feature requires CUDA, which is a hardware architecture that your GPU simply does not have. It is an Nvidia technology that is only on Nvidia GPUs.
This is all explained in the page that I lined to in my previous post.
However, you should not concern yourself with the ray-traced 3D renderer. The ray-traced 3D renderer is an obsolete feature that has been superseded by several better ways of doing 3D in After Effects, including using Cinema 4D (which is included with After Effects now):
