How to enable my ipod that disabled before i could sync it?

i was inbetween computers when my ipod touch 3g was disabled. what can I do so that i don't loose my purchases?

I am assuming you mean that you do not have the syncing computer and the iPod display shows Disabled. In that case place the iPod in recovery mode and connect it to a computer with iTunes and restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod. For recovery mode see:

Redownload your (or at least most of your iTunes purchases, including apps at no additional cos)t and sync them to the iPod. See:

If you didn't make a back-up of your purchases to restore from then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:

You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. I perviously had a problem with muisc being greyed out on my ipod due to me syncing the it with my library, I easily fixed the porblem to allow manual updates of single tracks in ipod options.
Since then I have got a macbook and stopped using windows, so I had to reformat my ipod and sync the songs to start with, but not everything will fit and I want to add tracks I really like and remove those I dont like so much, but with itunes 7 all I can seem to do it sync my library with my ipod due to the introduction of the ipod menu and disappearance of the ipod opitons section.
Does anyone know how I can change this? please help! =)

What do you mean 'not in sync with any account' ? Do you mean that you don't have a backup to restore back onto it, either on a computer nor in the cloud ? If not then you might be able to redownload some/all of your past purchases via the Purchased tabs in the store apps on it
