How to enable "Open in Adobe Premiere Pro" function

Hi,
I'm working with Audition CC 2014 and Premiere Pro 2014. I sent a squence from Premiere to Audition via "Edit in Adobe Audition". But now, when I try to export the track back from Audition to Premiere (Multitrack=>Export to Adobe Preniere Pro..."), in the dialoge box, the function "Open in Adobe Premiere Pro" is disabeled and I can`t mark it to enable the function.

Hmm. That box should only be disabled if Audition doesn't see a registry entry indicating that Premiere Pro is installed. But obviously, you have Premiere Pro installed if you sent a sequence to Audition. My first suggestion would be to do a reinstall of Premiere, but it might be worth finding out if you are running any anti-virus or system monitoring software that might protect or "repair" the Windows registry.

Not sure what you are asking. A download is a download. what you do with the file afterwards is entirely up to you. If you mean to install Mac software on Win, then no, this can't be done. Furthermore you also would have to have a proper Win serial.

.prproj project will not open in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4

When I try to open .prproj file, I get the message "Where is the File <name of file>.mpeg?
1) I have tried manually finding the .mpeg file and double-clicking on it. This displays the error: "File Import Failure 'Unsupported format or damaged file.'"
2) I have also tried selecting the "Skip" and "Skip All" buttons. In this case, Adobe Premiere .prproj opens but none of videos appear. Instead there is a red screen saying "Media Offline"
What is causing these issues? Why am not able to select the unfindable files and, more importantly, why can I not open the .prproj project. ANy insight would be greatly appreciated!

How can I re-install Adobe Premiere Pro CC 7.2.2?

A friend replaced his Premiere Pro CC 7.2.2 with (2014) and wants to go back to 7.2.2, but can't find anywhere to download it. Any suggestions, guys? Thanks

I might be being an idiot, but I also have problems with CC 2014 and want to reinstall CC 7, but nowhere in the Creative Cloud App can I find the ability to install older versions.
On the Adobe site it shows the ability to install an older version by clicking either the 'more information' or the 'filer & versions' tab, but there are no options to access older builds in the latest Creative Cloud app.

Since PrPro project is an XML file, you can open it up in any script editor (e.g. Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit) or even text editor, in fourth line find Version="25"

Media Pending with Adobe Premiere Pro CS4

First of all guys, I know this is not a brand new issue but please help me out as am providing details. Thank you.
I have JVC Everio jvc everio gz-hd5 60GB camcorder. As you probably know that it records file into .TOD format, I converted them into .MPG format. This is how I am importing to Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 before it's showing me golden little screen displaying PENDING MEDIA forever.
1. Import -> new project
2. Capture format -> HDV
3. Available Preset -> HDV108030p
Operating system detail
Microsoft XP Pro Version 2002 Service pack 3
2.19 GHZ, 1.99GB RAM, Intel core 2 duo CPU

I dont think I have enough info about your computers and hard drives and so on to tell if you can really edit HD stuff , but at this point you should really convert the TOD file first anyway. I don't think just renaming the extension will make it work OK, but I found some info on the internet that might help you convert to a more editor friendly format...
Standard definition video is stored in MPEG program stream container files with MOD extension; in most other systems these files have extension MPG or MPEG. High definition video is stored in MPEG transport stream container files with TOD extension; in most other systems these files have M2T extension.[2] Transport stream files can be converted into more common program stream files without recompressing the video itself. For example, FFmpeg, a free software program, performs the conversion on Windows and Linux systems with the following command: ffmpeg -i myclip.TOD -acodec copy -vcodec copy myclip.mpg. Software, included with TOD camcorders, performs this conversion as part of capture process. A similar command is used for MOD files: ffmpeg -i myClip.MOD -vcodec copy -acodec ac3 -ab 384k myClip.mpg -acodec mp2 -ab 192k -newaudio.
You Gspot screenshot is good, and it shows that it doesn't recognize anything about the codec and codec name..the right side of the GSpot is usually full of information about the video file...like the frame size, FPS , aspect ratio, and so on. As you can see from the above paragraph you would probably benefit from converting the TOD file using FFmpeg or some other program like streamclip ( also free program )
That's your first step I think...
You will have to know what your video file is...from the camera manual you can find out the frame size and fps used, whether it is progressive or interlaced, etc... The reason you will need to know about your video file is because when you open the TOD file in a program like streamclip to convert it, you will want to convert it to basically the same specs, but with as a different "codec" and file type....but keep the same video characteristics as the original.

Installation of Adobe Premiere Pro CS6

Hi, I recently bought my Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 online and tried to follow the guide. However, I am unable to install and get pass the 'install a trial' page. Followed the steps below but stuck at step 3. Please help me as soon as possible!
Follow the steps and your installation will be done within 5 minutes!
1. Disconnect from Internet (important!)
2. Click on the "Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.dmg" file and open the installation inside
3. When installer opens, click "Install a trial (I want to try Adobe Premiere Pro CS 6 Family for a limited time"
4. Click "Accept" > "Install" (Choose only Adobe Premiere Pro CS6)
5. After installing, go to your applications and open up Adobe Premiere Pro CS 6.
6. The Premiere Pro application will open together with a pop up window, click "Start Trial"
7. Choose a new project, and once Premiere Pro has been opened, close the application
8. Go to "Mac Patch (MILK Design Studio)" folder, right click and copy "amtlib.framework"
9. Go to your "Applications" (side tab under finder), click on "Adobe Premiere Pro CS6", and right click on "AdobePremiere Pro CS6" and select "Show Package Contents"
10. Click on "Contents" > "Frameworks" and paste the file. Select "Replace".

All of the collection will load on my system except Adobe Premier Pro.

I spent 16 hours yesterday blending everything from Microsoft and Dell that
I could find relating to my problem. During all of this I lost all sound,
including playback and record on Adobe Audition 3 on another partition. I
worked until midnight last night and came back to my computer this morning
at 2:00 AM to continue. When I turned on the computer and checked, all of
the icons for the CD & DVD units, internet phone were in place and
everything worked. Adobe Audition now records and plays back...just like old
times. I have no idea which of the changes I made corrected my problem but
the problem is solved. Just wanted you gentlemen to know. It is reassuring
to know that there are folks “out there” a novice can count on. I will now
add the 8 GB of RAM but will not move to Windows 7 as yet. Thanks again for
your help.

This method is not good for me, because I lost stuff like titles with its settings of motions and effects (I try to open my templates for video clips ).
Maybe there is another way to do it ?

When I open a file, once out of two times, I have this message: "This project contained a sequence that could not be opened", and this is annoying as it blocks all my work and I start waiting time trying to solve the issue, the live chat is not available and all the solutions offered here send me to do things that waste my time even more, and two days later, the same problem comes back. can anyone help, please?

In my "Help" thing, there is no "Help > Deactivate", so I can't choose the option 1.
Option 2 seems too complicated for me, the only option left to me is the option 3, but the problem keeps coming back!

How to work on the same project on two machines at the same time and also exchange progress seamlessly using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014?

We are working on a film project on Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014. Two editors are working on the same film project (same pproj file ) on two machines. As a result the bin structure and the file structure is exactly the same. We even bought two licenses for the respective machines to make matters simple (at least we thought it would).
Now when we share a sequence between the two machines, every time we have to import and re-link media. Also each sequence import comes with its own set of files, which are actually already present in the project. Basically the new sequences are looking to re-link the media to the original/ source files only and are completely ignoring the file structure present in the project.
In all editing softwares, timeline/ sequence sharing is a very common practise when working on multiple machines. Why is it so tedious in CC 2014? Every time we share a sequence between the two machines the media gets doubled and tripled in the project. As a result the project file size is increasing perpetually. Already Premiere CC 2014 is extremely laggy and slow, and this stupid bug is making it more difficult for us to finish our work on time.
Has anybody ever faced this issue? How do we solve it? We are willing to try out any workflow that you can suggest.

Concurrently working on the same project it requires a specific implementation in all editing programs like Avid's Unity/ ISIS shared storage. That's what you are simply not considering. none of your issues would be any problem if your projects resided on a commonly accessed server or something like that. Check respective hardware solutions.

Adobe Premiere Pro Cs6 Will Not Open

I have an issue.
Essentially I began installing Adobe Premiere Pro, and it installed halfway before concluding it had allegedly finished installing all the updates.
This is not true as I cannot click the application in Creative Cloud, and my arrow remains as the standard cursor.
This is the second time this has happened, as I was forced to reinstall Creative Cloud and all of my Applications.
I thought a clean install would have helped the situation but it seems to have made no difference, there is no way to open this application, it merely says that it has been installed though is completely unusable.

What is your operating system?
