How to upload photos and videos from a camera via an SD Reader after the iOS7 upgrade?

Since uploading iOS7 I have also found that my iPad2 will not upload from my SD card reader (in this case Model A1362). With iOS6 it worked perfectly. I also cannot now upload videos using iTunes, only photos.
This is a major loss of functionality for me since, when travelling, I would upload pictures and videos from my camera to the iPad, edit them on the iPad, and then post them on social media. It also acted as a backup in case the SD card was damaged or lost.

Mine works now too. Maybe it was the upgrade to iOS 7.0.2? Or maybe it had something to do with changing SD cards? I was using a high performance 4GB card, switched to a standard 2GB card and it worked and now appears to work with the 4GB cards as well (standard and high performance).
Go figure.

Superdrive: Cd reader and Burner works but DVD's won't read

Hey, anyone have any ideas?
My CD burner and player work great, I burn off of it all the time. However if I try to insert a DVD it makes noises, like it's trying to read but spits it back out. I tried resenting it but nothing is working.
Anyone have any clue why one would work and the other wouldn't I thought they were one in the same?

I am having the same issue and it does notappear to be a software issues unless it is a firmware one....
normal CDs enter the drive and mount just fine yet DVDs do not. The Dvds that I insert into the drive will not mount and the drive kicks them out a few seconds after I put them in. NOw this seems to only occor for movie DvDs, DvDs that have minor scratching, but are still readable in my MDD G4 desktop and certain commercial game disks.
Only 2 possibilities come to mind: 1, a firmware issue yet it is fully upgraded; 2, a physical issue with the drive and movie DvDs being a slightly different physically then other ones (this is not likely but it is the only thing I can come up with.
The discussion linked above does not pretain to this issue. as this is a more select issue that seems to be more hardware related than simple prefrences related.

Adobe Reader and protected pdf files, need better pdf reader

If Adobe will not fix the app for the Playbook, will Blackberry remove the reader and add Pdf to Go, so we can read protected pdfs? Pdf to go works fine on my blackberry phone. I can not remove the password from the pdf it is protected with a unknown password from my estatement vendor.

I have problems with my SATEGO X200-21D DVD-Drive
TS-L632D to read an burn DVD-R DL discs.
I contacted the Toshiba-support via e-mail ans asked
for a new drive-firmware, but the answer did not solve my problem.
There are only updates in the toshiba download area,
but not for my drive model. I can send my notebook
for money to a service partner, to check this problem.
I can not understand this! I bought a highend notebook
for 1.700 EUR and it is no firmware update support
available to solve problems with newer discs?
If i search for this problem in the WEB, there an a lot of
questions and problems with reading and burning
DVD-R DL discs with this drive modell!
How can it be???
I hope for some hints to get a firmware drive update
to fix the problems reading and writing DVD-R DL discs.

yes I have got the TS-L632D drive and not the TS-L632H - that is true. But why is no firmware update available for TS-L632D,
because also this drive has problems with DVD-DL discs!? I payed 1700,- EUR for my Thoshiba notebook with the
DVD-drive TS-L632D. And in my opinion it can't be, that for this drive version is no firmware update available!!!
Other companys (f. i. DELL , SAMSUNG) support this drive version and offer firmware updates for this drive modell.
It is a fact that my DVD-drive has problems to read and burn DVD-DL discs! This is a known fact for many drives and therfore
exists firmware updates for the DVD-drives to fix this problem. But why not for my drive modell???
My be it was an error to by a Toshiba Notebook!? I am a customer and I don't care what special
DVD-drive modell is in my notebook (TS-L632D , H or wwhat ever)!!!

Reader and InputStream

I notice it is fairly easy to create a reader for an input stream.
Reader reader = new InputStreamReader( in );However, I don't see any easy way to create an input stream from a reader.
InputStream in = new ReaderInputStream( reader );Is there an obvious reason for this that I am missing? A reason why someone would never what to do this? Or is there an adapter class that I am just missing?

Well, no not really. That's a very specific example (i.e. strings). Basically, I can read content from a variety of places -- the content could come as a ByteArrayInputStream, StringInputStream, FileInputStream and so on -- I won't know which. I use a reader to work with that input stream (possibly filtering it). Then I want to take this content and put it into a database as an InputStream. I can't just use the original input stream because it may have been filtered using a reader. I want to keep these as streams because, in the case that it is a FileInputStream, I don't want to have to load the entire stream into memory as a byte-array. Furthermore, the source content could be binary or text. I want to have two wrapper methods, one that took a Reader and one that took an InputStream. These would them write that data to the database, which is why I was wondering if there was an easy way to wrap a Reader with an InputStream (I already know the reverse is easy). Sounds like I need to introduce another layer of abstraction. Maybe a Content class tree that can get/set an InputStream.

I wonder if anyone out there can help me with a problem I have recently encountered.
Firstly I have a Sony PRS-650 which I purchased in the UK 2 years ago. At that time I had a small netbook running windows 7. As such I uploaded the reader software and the ADE software, for the downloading and transfer of books. Everything was fine until a few months ago. First the little netbook disappeared, however I had just purchased an iMac so decided to transfer my reader and use the settings software to upload the relevant software to pair the device.
This is where my troubles began: firstly once i downloaded the software it would not let me access my purchases.....so i had to authorise my computer which i did (I should add that i also now have a new email address at this point). I could then access my old purchases so thought i would be able to purchase and download some new books and transfer them to my reader.
How wrong I was.....I succesfully downloaded the books from my reader to my elibrary but I am unable to transfer them to my reader..it just keeps saying this computer is not authorised to access this book.
I think I had a different set of usernames and passwords on my old netbook (the minds starting to go), I thought i had the same on the new one but obviously not. As such I am possibly running parrallel sets of ADE and Reader and as such I am now stuck in limbo with purchased books that I can't access (new and old).
If anyone can shed any light as to how I can combine accounts, or delete account or move all my purchases to one account I would be most grateful. If i have missed anything obvious to allow me to do this I apologise, but I have looked everywhere and nothing jumps out at me to correct my problem.
I love my reader and use it for work and leisure, but I am becoming frustrated as to how I resolve my problems.

You may need to check the Reader forum. I have no idea why the problem exists, but it may be that it is something particular to Reader and not Acrobat. The link for the Reader forum is at the top of this forum.

I'm trying to connect a Sony wireless keyboard and can't figure out how to get the iPad 2 to discover it. Has anyone had any luck using a non-Apple wireless keyboard and mouse?

Apple tech so far hasn't helped except to advise me to get manuals online that Sony doesn't post on its website. I've sent off an inquiry to Sony but don't expect an answer. Apple assumes my devices are bluetooth but the iPad2 hasn't figured out how to discover them, and I don't know how to make them discoverable. I'd like to have the option to use them but so far haven't been able to figure out how.

On the iPad, go to Settings-General-Bluetooth. Set Bluetooth to ON and a new window appears while the iPad searches for Bluetooth devices.
To get the keyboard into a discoverable mode, you may need to remove its batteries for a while. If it is not possible to get it to appear on the iPad, could the keyboard be defective? Can it be discovered by other computers?

I think you want to get the latitude and longitude information of client accessing the web application. In the web application you cannot directly get the client location information as the nature of the web application is different from windows applications.
