How to enable S3 Sleep State on Z87-G43 with Win7 X64

I have been trying without success to enable the S3 Sleep State (Suspend to RAM) on my new system.  I have enabled the Intel Rapid Start in the BIOS, but one of the entries under Intel RS says "No valid IFFS partition found".  This notation is greyed out and I cannot see any way to change it, or do I need to?
Another setting under Intel RS is "Active Memory Threshold: 0".  Again, I cannot see how to change this setting.
Under Win 7 advanced settings: "USB Selective Suspend: Enabled"
In Win 7 advanced settings, "Sleep Button Action: Sleep".  Hibernation is an option but I'd rather have S3, if at all possible.
Right now, when I press the "Sleep" button on my PS2 keyboard, the computer goes into what I call "Stand-By" mode.  The PSU and CPU fan are still running.  I think that this is either S1 or S2 - I don't know.  However, I cannot currently wake the computer from this state.  I have enabled in the BIOS to wake by USB device and wake by PS2 Mouse/Keyboard, but neither works.
BTW, I am using the new 1.42 Beta Bios with ME update and latest ME driver.
Any suggestions?

It looks like I have finally changed enough settings and rebooted several times, and S3 works!  YAY!!

Please help!!! I don't know how to use a SQL statement within my APEX form......
My form is below. The user will enter the values in the form. Click on Submit. Then we need to run a SQL select statement with those values.
    Our form looks like this:
    Start_Date ____________
    Per_Period ____________
    Period ____________
    [Submit Button]
The user will enter these 3 values in the form.
This is an example of an user providing the values:

    Per_Period $200.00________
    Period 4____________
    [Submit Button]
Then they will click the Submit Button.
The SQL statement (BELOW) returns output based on the users selections:

  • How to enable wi-fi calling on iPhone 6 with Metro PCS

I have been with Metro PCS for about a month now. I purchased my iPhone 6 directly through Apple and it came with a T-Mobile sim card preinstalled. For a few months, I had T-Mobile as my provider and I was able to use Wi-Fi calling. However, with Metro PCS, I am currently having some issues. When I go to Phone and then the Wi-Fi calls option, I turn the Wi-Fi option on and a page pops up that is T-Mobile branded asking me to enter my E911 address. I do as requested and hit Save at the bottom of the page. When I get a message that it had been saved successfully, I click on the close button at the bottom of the page. Once the page closes, the Wi-Fi calls option is still not enabled. This does this to me every time. I have called MetroPCS numerous times and all they tell me is that they will update the address on their system and that it should work. It has never worked for me. MetroPCS has also refreshed my data settings and that still didn't solve my problem. I am completely clueless on what to do because MetroPCS is owned by T-Mobile, so I would assume that the Wi-Fi calling would work just as it does with T-Mobile.

Other than using voice over IP (Skype, etc) there is no WIFI calling capability on any iPhone.

Thanks! I see a potential problem--iTunes must be open on the main(?) other computer for sharing to works, according to some of the documentation. My situation is that daughter 1 grabs the main computer, access iTunes and her account. Then daughter 2 comes into room, screams upon seeing daughter 1 using the iTunes computer.
I want daughter 2 to calmly walk to computer 2, open iTunes and somehow seamlessly access her iTunes library. In that case, iTunes may be open on computer 1, but not with her library open or her id in force. It might also be the situation that computer 1 does not have iTunes even running at that time, if daughter 1 is on Facebook.
Can Home Sharing handle this situation?

  • How to enable high availability on SQL Server 2005 with Windows Server 2008 Enterprise R2

    Dear Folks,
I would like to ask you about this thing. I'm working for IT department for bank in Myanmar. Our bank have up to 96 branches across all of Myanmar including H.O. We are using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 with Windows Server 2008 for our banking
information system. My main problem is having to backup and restore the database backup files every time the servers in branches goes down for whatever reasons. I want to deploy this feature of high availability and failover cluster using Windows Server 2008
and SQL Server 2005. Our branches have 2 Servers. One is for Primary and other is for Backup. What I want to do is that, I want to change Backup Server to Primary Server whenever the Primary Server goes down for whatever reasons. All the working data and databases
from Primary will immediately replicated into Backup Server along with all the IP information of Primary Server. Please give me step by step guide for this process.

    Try below
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/cindygross/archive/2009/10/23/checklist-for-installing-sql-server-2005-as-a-clustered-instance.aspx
I will recommend you to upgrade SQL server to newer version for support as well as flexibility.

  • How to install Cisco Agent Desktop 7.6(1) on Win7 X64?

I am trying to install Cisco Agent Desktop 7.6(1) on my Windows 7 64-bit laptop. This
    error keeps poping up:
    http://i.imgur.com/xtBFm.png
This directory in the error message does not exist on my computer. Other x86.Microsoft.VC80.CRT... folders exist, but they have different names than the one in the error message window.
What can I do to install CAD ?

I ran into a different problem back when WIN7 was released, the error was along the line CAD detected unsporting OS. No matter how I finagled the OS nothing would work. I did read a little blurb to modify the MSI install file and it works quite well. I have since installed my modded MSI Agent Desktop and Supervisor Desktop on WIN7 64bit also no problem at all. Locate yourself a copy of SuperOrca and open Agent Destop.msi and scroll down to LaunchCondition Delete the top two lines
    Condition and Description
    #1 (CADOR) OR ((VersionNT=500 AND MsiNTProductType=1) OR (VersionNT=501) OR (VersionNT=600) OR (VersionNT=500 AND MsiNTProductType>=2 AND NOT SERVER_INSTALLED) OR (VersionNT=502 AND NOT SERVER_INSTALLED))
    #2 (CADOR) OR (NOT (SERVER_INSTALLED OR SUPERVISOR_INSTALLED))
Save the Agent Desktop.msi to something like Agent Desktop WIN7.msi save it someplace handy and run it.
You may find you need to run as admin IF your using WIN7 PRO/HOME etc etc Ultimate shouldn’t give you these probs if the application installs yet wont launch go to control panel look into running compatibility etc etc
If you have odd securities errors while running the program Blame the OS go to the Cisco install folder and give the domain user full control security ect on THEIR folder, this will clear up any client side issues.
Most who run into this problem delete the two lines indicated above then smooth sailing.

  • Fats 32  ntfs how can i change it on the time caps with win7

when i bougth my time caps. i was able to partition it to a fat32
but now i want it to be a ntfs drive. i can't seem to find an option to change this

It is not possible to partition a Time Capsule.
You might be seeing some virtual drive software created on the TC but you have not actually partitioned it.. easy to tell btw. open the airport utility on any computer.. Mac or PC.. all partitions will be listed. If it is listed as data then you have something different going on..
You can partition a USB drive plugged into a TC.. but you cannot use NTFS anyway.. the TC internal drive is formatted HFS+ now and forever more.. a USB drive can be FAT16 FAT32 or HFS+.. nothing else is recognised.
Over the network.. the PC will see the share as NT server so perhaps FAT32.
PC over the network will not be able to tell what actual format is on the drive and nor will it care.
But you may have large file limitation.. that is windows issue. It has nothing to do with the TC.

  • Problem With Insert statement using field symbols with unicode enabled

I was writng a function module for dyanamic operations on the table. We are using the field symbols, function module is unicode enabled.
Assign statements are working fine, with which we created work are <fs_wa_header> and internal table <fs_tb_item> dynamically based on the table name (IM_TB_HENAME) which we get as import parameter.
we have query which is giving us dump.
    INSERT  (IM_TB_HENAME)  FROM <FS_WA_HEADER>.

    Hi
INSERT (IM_TB_HENAME) FROM <FS_WA_HEADER> is good for inserting a line in the database, so IM_TB_HENAME has to have the name of dictionary table.
    U should write:
    INSERT  <FS_WA_HEADER> INTO (IM_TB_HENAME).
But I believe you can't use the variable IM_TB_HENAME, you should use another field-symbols:
    ASSIGN (IM_TB_HNAME) TO <FS_TB_ITEM>.
    INSERT  <FS_WA_HEADER> INTO <FS_TB_ITEM>.

  • How to enable wi-fi in sleep mode?

    iphone 6
    IOS 8.1
how to enable wi-fi in sleep mode?

If you have cellular data plan for your phone and you have cellular data turned on, the fact that you do not have Wi-Fi at the time, you will still receive your messages, plus once the device starts to receive the message and "wakes up", the device will reconnect to Wi-Fi at that time.
As stated by everyone that has posted so far, the fact that Wi-Fi disconnects after the phone goes to sleep is a battery saving feature of the phone. There is no app or other setting that will change that. Only keeping the device connected to power will keep the Wi-Fi radio active.

  • How to enable Active-State Power Management (ASPM)?

If I'm running the 'powercfg -energy' command in Windows 7 it reports that ASPM has been disabled. It is a long known issue as it has been reported in previous topics around the internet. And it has been reported that enabling it could save 1-2 Watts. The old topics have been reporting how to enable it with the help of a Linux/Win7 dualboot installation.
I have been trying, but unfortunately most links in those articles are dead (topics are several years old). Is there an update on the issue, or a still functioning guide? I would love to get an hour extra juice.
    old topics:
PCI Express Active-State Power Management (ASPM) has been disabled ..
Enable ASPM in T61 running Windows for saving ~2W of power consumption
    X200s 7470CR9

Actually after a full day on the issue, reading thoroughly Enable ASPM in T61 running Windows for saving ~2W of power consumption and ASPM on Linux  I somewhat succeeded:
-I could enable ASPM for my Intel AGN 5300
-But my audio card doesn't support ASPM at all
So the result is that powercfg -energy is still reporting ASPM error and HWinfo reporting all PCIe devices as ASPM L1 but the sound card as unable to do ASPM. So unless someone has an idea how to put the Conexant 20561 into ASPM, I'm afraid that I am not much further than I started with...
