    Hi Arun,
In the sample code for encryption the namespace and xpath are hardcoded. Do you know how we can pass xpath dynamically from the soa process so that every process can use the same java code(so that no need to modify xpath in the java code for each and every process)?

  • OWSM: How to encrypt payload and SOAP header?

    Hi,
Anybody know how I can encrypt the payload and the SOAP header via OWSM? I can only find references on how to do it using SSL. The reason for using OWSM/WS-Security was to move away from using transport based encryption (SSL).

  • 11g - Encrypt Payload shown in Audit Trail

How to encrypt payload that's shown in Audit Trail of Composite in 11g ? I want to encrypt information like SSN, that's coming as input to my composite service, so that its protected from support teams monitoring the logs and audit trail through EM console.
Is it possible to do this for whole composite or atleast within BPEL ?

    Eric,
Is it possible to make the payload invisible or encrypted inside an 11g BPEL process? The policies will allow to encrypt the payload while sending to external services.
What if I have a simple BPEL process that uses simple Assign activity and I want to encrypt the payload so that Admin might not be able to comprehend it in the Audit Trail.
Audit level if set to Production can be changed by the Admin and hence is not a foolproof mechanism.

  • [Urget Help] [BPEL 11g] How to use Database 11g as Identity Service source?

    Dear all,
My customer is using BPEL 11g for current project. They have a legacy user database (Oracle DB 11g) which store all accounts info.
Now we want to connect BPEL with this database as identity service and pick up the users and groups as approver. I saw following graph from below link, but I don't know how to implement it. It seems a huge change in BPEL 11g.
Can you give me an idea on it? Any suggestions are welcome.

  • How to Use Oracle Coherence in BPEL 11g

I hope this can be done using Oracle Coherence. Could you please let me know how can i use this coherence for cacheing in BPEL 11g (in my bpel process)
thanks for the help in advance.

    Hi.
U can use the Coherence API within a Spring bean.
Take a look at this https://blogs.oracle.com/jaylee/entry/accessing_coherence_cluster_using_spring
That's one way to do it.

But i need to Delimited and insert the data into table ..Here Header data insert into saperate table and
middlle of the data insert into main table and footer data insert in another table it all happen one attempt by using file read Adapter(11.1.1.1.3)

You have a header parameter in the file datastore. You can provide any number to skip rows from top of the file. For footer you can create a filter in staging area.
Filter coould be something like this.
    where source_alias.source_column not like '%FOOTER_OR_ANY_VALUE_AS_PER_YOUR_REQ'

  • How to enable logging in oracle bpel 11g

    Hi,
My requirement is see log files in bpel which shows complete transaction which I generally view from em console opening a instance everytime.
You can take an example of OSB 11g where we have a log action and we can log any request by giving variables like $body, header etc.
Everytime going to em console and opening instance is quite hectic . So my question is as under :
    1. Is any kind of log activity available in bpel 11g by which I can log my messages going through ?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Neeraj Agrawal

You could use Sensors to log certain information. See Swim The Fusion: Sensors in SOA 11g for Details.

  • Send encrypted data from oracle 11g to Ms SQL Server 12

    Hi every body,
we want to send encrypted data from oracle 11g to Ms SQL Server 12:
    - data are encrypted to oracle
    - data should be sent encrypted to Ms SQL server
    - data will be decrypted in Ms SQL server by sensitive users.
How can we do this senario, any one has contact simlare senario?
can we use asymetric encription to do this senario?
    Please Help!!
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
What you want to do about copying data from Oracle to SQL*Server using insert will work with the 12c gateway.  There was a problem trying to do this using the 11.2 gateway but it should be fixed with the 12c gateway.
If 'insert' doesn't work then you can use the SQLPLUS 'copy' command, for example -
    SQL> COPY FROM SCOTT/TIGER@ORACLEDB -
    INSERT SCOTT.EMP@MSQL -
    USING SELECT * FROM EMP
There is further information in this note available on My Oracle Support -
Copying Data Between an Oracle Database and Non-Oracle Foreign Data Stores or Databases Using Gateways (Doc ID 171790.1)
However, if the data is encrypted already in the Oracle database then it will be sent in the encrypted format. The gateway cannot decrypt the data before it is sent to SQL*Server.
There is no specific documentation about the gateways and TDE.  TDE encrypts the data as it is in the Oracle database but I doubt that SQL*Server will be able to de-encrypt the Oracle data if it is passed in encrypted format and as far as I know it is not designed to be used for non-Oracle databases.
The Gateway encrypts data as it is sent across the network for security but doesn't encrypt the data at source in the same way as TDE does.

  • How to search the indexes in 11g Enterprise Manager Console

    Hi,
After setting the Indexes using Java Embedding for a process, can you please tell me how to search the indexes in 11g Enterprise Manager Console for the particular process. In 10g BPEL Console we have the option of searching the Instances based on Indexes we already set at process level which is inbuilt in 10g. I need the same in 11g .
    Thanks,
    Sagar.

    Hi Sagar,
You can define composite sensors in your composite.
Then you will get fields in enterprise manager of that composite instance.(the sensors you have defined will be displayed here)
You can enter the values based on what you want to search the instance. :)

  • Polling from the database view in BPEL 11g

    Hi,
We do have a requirement of polling from the database view in BPEL 11g. I am exploring the following polling strategies in our case:
    - Delete
    - Logical Delete
In case of Delete polling strategy, can we delete the record as the view does not allow deletion. In this case, do we have any other way to achieve this functionality?
In case of Logical Delete, We have to mark the status column with particular value. how could we achieve the same when the view is not updateable.
In 10g, we can override the delete polling strategy with an update statement. Is it possible in 11g?
    Thanks & Regards

  • BPEL 11g Transform Activity

    Hi
We are developing EDI 850 Transaction using SOA 11g Environment. We are successfully able to complete the B2B 11g Trading partner setups and able to successfully puch EDI XML to IP_IN_QUEUE.
We developed a 850 EDI BPEL mappings using BPEL 11g (Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.2.0_GENERIC_091029.2229.5536). We received the payload from IP_IN_QUEUE using B2B adapter successfully. After receiving this payload we are trying to map source elements to target schema. For testing we have mapped couple of elements from source to target.
But, Transform activity is not performing the mappings which we mapped and its coming null at run time.
We are not able to find the reason. Could some body let us know what could be issue?
    Regards
    Ravi

    Hi
    Thanks for your reply.
We tried by assigning the static text, this text successfully comes at run time.
We have only issue when mapping from source to target. None of the values are getting mapped to target from source.
