I am trying to enable the encrypted control communication services on clients in cell Manager.
But it is giving error as -Failed to enable encryption for hosts:
Data Protector version is 6.20

How to take control back from service error handler in osb

I am using osb to send data to multiple services at the same time.since x query is a procedural language if any single operation fails the flow goes to service error handler which calls a BPEL webservice and logs the error in a database but the control doesnt comes back to my code I have tried everything including RESUME,REPLY operations but all in vain similarly i cannot use service callout call to my business service because its not allowing to select my BPEL wsdl operation

If your statement "the control doesnt comes back to my code" means you expect that your xquery will continue in processing than your expectations are just too high. :-)
Resume action is supposed to resume the next action in the message flow. It means the action that follows the action which caused an error.

USB RAW Control Communication in LabVIEW

Iam trying to open the zipped file by NI "USB RAW Control Communication in LabVIEW".The VI is attached below.It recognized my raw device in VISA Resource Name.Iam using a pendrive.But while running it shows an error 'VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0072) The resource is valid, but VISA cannot currently access it.'I learned this problem from some discussion forums in labview,but can't find a solution.Plz help.Post your valuable suggestions........Also in that example how we will give the request,request type,value,index etc:-.What does it indicates?

Unity Service - Error: Unable to communicate with service control center

Hi Guys,
I have a CUC Cluster of 2 nodes at 9.1.2 I did a Cobra restore and since the cobra I have an issue when I go to Unity Connection Servicability and then
If I go in service Management I have this error : " Error: Unable to communicate with service control center "
I am not the only one who got that Issue.. the documentation is not so clean from cisco..

but once I did that, I wasn't able to login anymore with my user, so I put it back to 4.

I make the right configuration of my network (eth0 and eth1) and I reboot my server the start CRS service automaticaly...
The problem is that my server don't stop rebooting automaticaly!!!
In /var/log messages I have this " oracle CSSD failure. Rebooting for cluster integrity" !!!

We have a J2EE app developed under OC4J that needs to be migrated to weblogic 10.x. It uses web services mapped to EJB's with the oracle.j2ee.ws.SessionBeanWebService class, example setup:

Microsoft webservices uses HTTP sessions to maintain state. That means that the webservice sends a token to the client to be passed back on subsequent calls.
Unfortunately, the webservice control in 8.1 doesn't know how to send the session token back to the MS webservice. The webservice control knows how to talk SOAP only. It doesn't know about session tokens. The reason for this is the different protocols available to transmit SOAP. Most of them are not HTTP session aware.
Workshop webservices uses conversation ID's that are contained within the SOAP header to maintain state. That way, we don't have the dependency on the session state for maintaining state.
The way to handle Microsoft's stateful webservice implementation is to create a custom webservice control that uses an HTTP client. Query the HTTP client for the session cookie. Store the session token and send it with subsequent calls to the MS webservice.

If your LaserJet printer has been disconnected from or failed to connect to Web Services, you may need to power cycle your printer to reconnect. If that does not resolve the problem, you can remove web services, wait 30 seconds, then re-enable web services to re-establish your connection to ePrint and Print Apps. Note: this last step will result in a new email address being assigned to your printer.

I only know start a report service manually in DOS command.For example:rwserver service=repljbass

My start/stop scripts for Solaris looks like this.
Start:
rwserver.sh server=reportserver batch=yes
Note: batch=yes means that the extra control window doesn't start (at least on Unix)
Stop:
rwserver.sh server=reportserver shutdown=immediate authid=repadmin/reports
Just remove the .sh and it'll work on your PC.
PS. The complete Solaris start command I use is:
exec nohup rwserver.sh server=reportserver batch=yes &

We ran into this problem, specifically because we are using a dbsession
connection pattern and the dba's did not like loosing control over
connections. We have 8 subsystem, each with a dedicated connection that
is shared across multiple users. We also have a security pattern in
place that is token based. Since we have to pass a security token
through service objects we can track this information using a
"connection array" on the service object and a system agent to poll the
contents of the array. When a sql statement is invoked on a
persistence object we add the user to the array on the persistence
manager (SO). When the sql is complete we remove the user from the
array. Since the PO has a system agent we can ask the system agent at
anytime, who has an open connection/session with the PO. Since system
agents plug into econsole, the dba can go look any time.

Hi, anyone knows how to encrypt a pdf ebook so it can only be read/used in one computer with a unique password?

This requires Digital Rights Management. This can be quite expensive and requires a server (5 to 6 figures, I believe, depending upon the number of books sold). Look at the Adobe LiveCycle Product line. Personally, I think you would be better off using a company that offers these services. Get a publisher to work for you. It is cheaper to share the profit than manage enterprise level software and server hardware.

so i actually ended up walking into genius bar today. they couldn't figure out which program was causing the glitch either, but the way they solved it was by resetting all the location service permissions altogether. for those of you who want to know how to do this, navigate to "settings > general > reset > reset location warnings". also fyi, the apple service rep told me the purple location service icon next to each app simply signifies that particular app has requested your location within the past 24 hours, not necessarily that the app is active. hope this helps those with the same problem as i had. iPhone 4, iOS 4

I don't want to make my parents listen to Breaking Benjamin music as they watch my photo slide shows on Apple TV. Need something more sedate. But if a B.B. song is in my iTunes music library, it is a candidate for random selection as background music for my slide shows. How do I control what music plays during Apple TV photo slide shows?

What I find is really silly, is the fact the music video's are listed under that artists albums in the Music menu. And when you go into the video 'album' (called 'Unknown' unless you change it) there is an option to shuffle the tracks. Clicking this just results in an error message. So, they should either remove that option if it is a video album, or, better yet, GET IT TO WORK. So silly of them to omit this.

How Can I call a UCM service from SOAP request

I have created one custom service and I would like to call that service from 3rd Party system via SOAP call. The 3rd Party system does not have the capability to call through RIDC.
Now I have exposed my service and tried to call but authentication exception was coming status code 401.
So I created one sample ADF application and tried to call the DocInfo service for testing (I thought let's try DocInfo then I will check my custom service). I downloaded the DocInfo service from UCM and uploaded the WSDL into the project and got the client DocInfoSoapClient.java file.

Hi Santanu,
You need to write SoapHandler in order to pass username and pwd. You will need 2 classes namely HeaderHandlerResolver & SoapHandler. This is how i do in in my JAX-WS clients. I generate stubs and then attach handler to webserviceinterface
PFA HeaderHandlerResolver.java and SoapHandler.java you would attach soap handler something like this in your code i have never done this via ADF so not sure.
HeaderHandlerResolver soapHandlerResolver = new HeaderHandlerResolver();
docInfo.setHandlerResolver(soapHandlerResolver);
In SoapHandler class you will mention username and pwd like this
soapMessageContext.put(BindingProvider.USERNAME_PROPERTY,"username");
soapMessageContext.put(BindingProvider.PASSWORD_PROPERTY,"pwd");

The point I think was to ensure that you knew exactly what was required. A customer service desk can have many interpretations from a BI perspective.
You could have :
1. Operational reports - calls attended per shift , Average number of calls per person , Seasonality in the calls coming in etc
2. Analytic views - Utilization of resources , Average call time and trending , customer satisfaction , average wait time
3. Strategic - Call volumes corresponding to campaigns etc , Employee churn and related call times
Based on these you would then have to construct your models which would be populated by data from the MySQL instance for you to report.
Else if you have BWA you could have data discovery instead or if you have HANA - you could do even more and if you have a HANA sidecar - you technically dont need BW. The possibilities are virtually endless - it depends on how you want to drive it and how the end user ( client ) sees value in the same.
