How to ensure that the bookmarks toolbar stays sisplayed at all times.

In the current version of Firefox, the bookmarks toolbar is hidden by default. Is there a way of canging this?
Perhaps by tweaking a setting in 'about:config'?
It was suggested that I replace the 'localstore.rdf' file.... But this makes no difference at all, correction, it works for a couple of times and then reverts to a 'Hidden' toolbar again.
Help!
Any other suggestions please?

After searching for this option, it appears it was very easy to do in older versions of firefox on windows 7. Many posts say you can edit the userChrome.css file to add:

However, on 2 machines with firefox 20, I've searched for that file and cannot find it. Does it even exist any more? if not, how can I set firefox to go to fullscreen mode and continue to show the bookmarks toolbar? Unchecking hide toolbars does not work for the bookmarks toolbar.

userChrome.css does not exist by default. You can create it; it's an ordinary text file. Note that you do need a namespace at the beginning of the file.
You could try this:

I added the second rule to prevents the toolbar area from rolling all the way up. The specific value may need to be adjusted by a few pixels depending on your toolbar heights.

Hi ronbar59, when you're in the Customize mode, can you confirm that "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" is on the correct bar and not somewhere else in the interface?

How do I remove the bookmark toolbar icons for websites? After updating to Firefox 22, add-ons don't help.

In the Bookmark Toolbar, the icons for websites take up too much space and are distracting. I used to use the Bookmarks - Deiconizer add-on but after updating to Firefox 22 it doesn't work anymore.
I tried adjusting the userChrome.css as in other posts but that does not work.
Please help!

If userChrome.css isn't working (note: you need to exit and restart Firefox before it takes effect), you can apply that rule to Firefox using the Stylish extension instead.
Does any of that help?

How do I set the bookmarks toolbar to text only? Changed to Icon + Text in v4.

I used to have only text in the bookmarks toolbar in version 3. Now that I'm in version 4, I see a folder icon or the website's icon and the text.
I can't seem to disable this - no preferences or context menu options that I can find.

How do I get the bookmarks toolbar's width to autofit to its buttons when placed next to tabs?

FF4: I'd like to be able to put the bookmark toolbar right next to my tabs (not above or below). However, when I do this, the width of the toolbar does not shrink down to fit only the buttons, i.e. the bookmarks toolbar takes up a lot of blank space.
This happens whether placing it on the right or left, or when placing tabs in the bookmarks toolbar.
To ask the question in another way, is there any way to autofit the bookmarks toolbar to its contents when placing next to tabs?

That's actually exactly what I intend to do. I've tried this both with and without the extension installed. The attached image includes two screenshots: (top) bookmarks toolbar to the left and (bottom) to the right.
When placed to the left, the tabs end up way over to the right and not up against the bookmark toolbar's contents, restricting the amount of space for tabs to fill.
When placed to the right, the bookmark toolbar's contents are not right justified and, again, restricting room for tabs.
Hopefully this clarifies my question.

It seems I can change all toolbars to either be text or icons. I want the look of Firefox 3. In Firefox 3 the bookmarks toolbar was text only wile the navigation toolbar was icons. I can't figure out how to have my Back/Forward/Home buttons be icons with my Bookmarks in the toolbar be text only.

How to Ensure that a Textbox Will Stay Alinged with a Matrix in SSRS 2008?

Hello All,
I am very frustrated with this situation that I have at the moment regarding a matrix. My matrix is laid out and styled the way that I like and it works, however I need to add a title above it and i've chosen to do this with a separate textbox.
The problem I now have is that when I run the report, the textbox may or may not be the same length as the matrix.
What method can I use to ensure that my matrix will always line-up correctly with my textbox?
In a very general way (screenshots are stupidly not allowed in this forum), here is what I am looking for:
                           WEEKLY SELL-OUT
Row Group Column title 1    Column title 2   Column title 3
WEEKLY SELL-OUT is the title which I need. I've put a rectangle around the matrix and tried aligning them, but each time the data is refreshed the matrix may or may not be aligned with the WEEKLY SELL-OUT textbox.
I've also tried putting a title within the left corner texbox within the matrix itself, however this is ugly and not what I want. I need it to be centered with the entire matrix and not just withing the textbox. Doing it this way does this to my matrix:
WEEKLY SELL-OUT
Row Group Column title 1    Column title 2   Column title 3
Again this is not what I want. I want it to be centered and using the textboxes inside the matrix does not allow me to do that. Also, i'm not able to merge cells within a row in a matrix, only within a column.
Surely there MUST be a way to do this properly - can someone help?

Seemed like a good idea -- to embed the matrix inside the lower cell of a 1-column, 2-row table -- but I couldn't get it to work.  When attempting preview, it resulted in an error -- "The tablix 'matrix1' has a detail member
with inner members. Detail members can only contain static inner members." The matrix works fine outside of the table. I'm not sure if properties of the matrix or table could be adjusted to remedy the error. The 'CanGrow'
property for the table is set to 'True'.
UPDATE: It is critical to put the matrix in the
Header cell, not the
Details cell. Delete the Details row (cell).  Create a new header row above the existing Header that contains the matrix in order to add a title and center it.

I right-click 0n the toolbar and click "customize". Then I select "show: icons". But it only removes the text from the navigation toolbar. In internet explorer, I could also show icons with no text on the links toolbar.

Hi,
There is no difference in queries elements between BEx and Web Browser, the adhoc queries/analysis/variants you create in web analyser doesn't get save back to BI server; its saving only in EP server.
Where as if you save any query view in BEx analyzer can also be viewed in Web analyzer, thats the reason you are able to see both of them. But actually meta data for both the query views are different.
