turingtest2 Thank you very much, now I have to erase to much music because the IOS takes up too much space as about 4 gigs. Your new 16-gigabyte iPhone 5S actually has 12 GB of space when you buy it.

How to Erase Internet Image Clutter in Finder?
I recently went into the All Images folder in iMac Finder and, to my dismay, saw what seemed like every picture from every single website I had every visited. I would just wipe out all the images, but there are iPhoto pics and other things in the folder I want to keep. Does anyone know how I can erase all the internet image clutter from the All Images folder without having to painstakingly go through everything lest i erase any images I want? Thanks in advance.
All Images is a smart folder, not a regular folder. this means that it is simply a saved search and the actual images reside in their original locations. all those internet images just sit in your browser cache. there is really no need to delete them by hand. the browser periodically does it itself. those images are stored for a time to speed up your browsing. if you really want to do you can delete them from your browser preferences. in safari go to safari menu->reset safari and delete what you want.

how to delete images inalbum
Basically, it involves not selecting them to sync the next time you do that, and also indicating that you don't want them to be left on the iPad.

Is there a way to download music bought on iTunes and not have it include the Album image. Seems the images take up a huge amount of space on my iNano. OR, is there a way to load it onto my iNano, just the music, and not the image...?
Grizz49The album art takes a very small amont of space.

How do I erase all images from a card in the Cannon Rebel t3
how do I erase all images from a card in the Cannon Rebel t3
Hello debrusso,
I would just like to give some quick advice that you all may already know but I was just told this countless of times that I thought you all would like to know. \
I have been told by numerous of photography professors that it is always best to try to format your camera every now and then. Because your memory card is not really deleting the photos but rather hiding it somewhere. This is a problem because it still takes space from your card. The solution to this is to FORMAT because it is one of the safest ways for your camera to erase images. It also sets up properly for your camera like new. But make sure to save your images before doing formatting. I have had many silly accidents this way. Lol. -
Apple TV won't play back my album images from IPhoto in the edited order I want. The order seems to revert back to the time stamp for the photos. I have combined the photos from 3 different cameras and they had slightly different clock settings. I am working on an edited presentation of about 1500 Pics from travels in Turkey this summer and sometimes the order makes more sense if I move some of the images quite a ways. Is there any solution short of changing the time stamp on every single image?
Using the 'adjust date and time' setting is the best way to syncronise the photos from all your cameras. However as you say this merely puts them all in the correct order chronologically.
If there are photos that you feel would be best somewhere else in an album other than in date order, it may depend on how many as to which is the best option for you. If it's only a few you may wish to adjust the date/time on these few manually so they fit in with the rest where you want them.
If you have a lot of photos you want in a different order to the order by date, or you really don't care about what date/time is used and just want them in the order you want them in, then 'batch change' is the best option.
From the view menu, select 'sort photos - manually', drag the photos around until they are in the order you want, select all of them. Now select the batch change option and choose 'Date' from the 'set' options, type in a date and time for the first photo, it can be anything but it's probably a good idea to choose something close to the original date, then check the box 'Add'. You can keep the value set at 1 minute or enter any value you want, it may be more realistic to divide the length of your holiday by the number of photos you have to calculate a value, but it really isn't necessary. Clicking OK will adjust all the dates without affecting the title or description and the photos will now show on the Apple TV in that order.
Just to be sure iTunes is updated, you may want to go to the advanced menu/choose photos to share in iTunes and deselect the album, apply, reselect the album and apply again. -
How do I delete album images?
I've discovered I can drag and drop album images to correspond to my music in iTunes. However, I've occasionally "missed" and now some songs are associated with the wrong album art. I can't figure out how to delete those images so I can start over (or reduce file size). Does anyone know how to delete album art (but not the songs) from iTunes?
Right-click the song that you want to remove the album artwork from, then go to Get Info. Go to the Artwork tab. Click on the image that you want to delete, and then press the Remove button below.

How can I import images from iphoto with the albums and folders?
How can I import images from iphoto without losing the albums and folders I already created?
In Organizer, you can choose File>get Photos and Videos>From iPhoto.
Importing from iPhoto'09: If in iPhoto, you organize your media using photo references, that is, the media actually does not reside inside iPhoto library package, and are referenced through original locations, Organizer does not create new copies of those media and just refer to the original location. but if your iPhoto media reside inside iPhoto library, Organizer creates a copy all media in your pictures folder, also imports albums and tags and other metadata.
Importing from iPhoto'011: In this case, Organizer always creates a copy of your photos in your pictures folder which resides inside iPohto package. It does not import the albums and other metadata like star rating, caption etc.
Hope this information helps!

draw using the blob brush a shape to use to erase your imaeg
Select image and your shape
In transparency palette click on make mask, Since I used black ink I had to take unchecked clip. -

How do I remove images from aperture?
Totally new to apple and aperture so I apologise if this seems like a somewhat noob question but how do I remove images from aperture (using the latest version, 3.4.1)? Coming from a PC and using lightroom I'm used to being able to remove images in two ways:
- removing the image from the "library", so that it no longer shows up in the program at all but is still on your hard drive (when I say removing it from the program entirely, I mean entirely, i.e. not sitting in a trash can or some other place where it's still taking up memory)
- deleting the original image off the hard drive
Is it possible to do either of these things in aperture, on both just a single image or a selection of multiple images, and if so how? I've tried googling this already and am getting a bunch of mixed solutions, none of which have really worked so far, so any answers would be appreciated. Thanks! The answer partially depends on whether you have a managed or referenced library. Since you're totally new to Aperture, I'm assuming you have a managed library since that's the default.
FYI: Managed means Aperture handles image files and places them inside the library file. Referenced means you manage the image files and Aperture only points to (references) them.
For a managed library, select an image you want to delete. Type command-delete. (That's the reverse delete key next to the "=" key). (You can also right-click an image and choose Delete Version) That will remove the images from their Project and place in the Aperture Trash. They're still taking up space in the Trash. If you really want them gone for good, right-click the Trash in the library pane and select Empty Trash. Poof.
For a reference library, I forgot the exact details since I don't use this type of library, but you'll be asked (or can check a box) to delete the original file from the disk.
