How to establish BGP Neighbourship without receiving BGP routes ?
Hi All,
I would like to establish BGP Neighbourship between my internet router and ISP router.
However I would not like my internet router to receive millions of bgp routes from the ISP router but my inside users should access internet via my internet router.
Kindly suggest how to do it.
Regards,
Mitesh Manwatkar.

Also depending on you setup with your ISP, you might not need BGP at all. Sometimes the ISP will advertize your public IP space (i.e. you don't need to), and if they do, all you need is a default route out.
PS:
Also BTW, often for basic ISP connectivity, even when BGP peering with your ISP, the ISP will not send you any routes but a default (because with a single link, there's no need for them).

How to detect webcam streams without receiving ones
Hi!
I am looking a way to know when user(any user in the room/group) started to publish his webcam and stopped.
I've tried to add listener to StreamManager
protected function cameraview_initializeHandler(event:FlexEvent):void{
this._connectionSession.streamManager.addEventListener(StreamEvent.STREAM_RECEIVE, this.streamReceivedHandler);
protected function streamReceivedHandler(event:StreamEvent):void{
trace('stream received', event.name, event.streamDescriptor.groupName, event.streamDescriptor.streamPublisherID);
And STREAM_RECEIVE called when another user started to publish, but event has groupName=null and streamPublisherID is NULL too.
I need this to give posibility to choose streams needed to play and lower bandwith.
I've tried to use WebcamSubsriber too, but it starts to display stream right when it is received.
What have i missed?Oh ok. If you do not by default want to see the other user's stream, you should set initially the publisherIDs property in the WebcamSubscriber to an empty array( not just leave it as by default, it shows every stream). Now, let's say when you get a stream from an user by listening to StreamManager's STREAM_RECEIVE , then you would have to assign publisherIDs array to have that publisherID of the stream that you want to see and it will start showing that user's stream. You need to listen to StreamManager ( and not subscriber) in this case because the subscriber won't know beforehand whether it has to show that stream and won't dispatch the STREAM_RECEIVE event.
Thanks

BGP Route Propagation Without Population
Morning/Afternoon all,
I'm in the process of designing a new data centre infrastructure and the technical architect that I'm working with has come up with a wacky idea that involves having an eBGP relationship established with our Internet providers on a router that then passes off the routes to one of it's iBGP peers without letting the routes populate in its routing table. This is largely because the eBGP peering router can't handle the entire Internet routing table as much as the internal router can. This sounds like some kind of jujumagic to me but I wanted to check whether it's possible or not with people that undoubtedly have a great deal more experience than me.
I realize that the easiest thing to do in this scenario would be to have the router that can handle the internet routing table as the eBGP edge gateway to our service providers but I believe that the architect has some exciting ideas that involve DDoS mitigation that mean that we want to do things in the way specified above.
Thanks in advance,
TomYou can prevent BGP from installing routes into RIB by using "BGP Selective Route Download" feature. This feature is commonly used on Route Reflector deployments, where you dont really need to install the routes on the RIB, only receive them on BGP and pass them to your peers.

usually the Time collision checks are followed only via posting using report rptarqpost and not while applying through portal in ESS
This is very strange you indicate
SO you need to check the basic tables first
You may need to check the collision.
Collisions Tables V_T554Y and V_554Y_B reaction indicators.
and V_T508A
able T582A set to time constraint of "Z
In backend Pa30 collision works like this
1) the logical collision, checks if there is an overlap in the validity
interval of the IT´s (begda, endda).
2) the physical collision, checks if there is an overlap in the time
interval of the IT's.
In the logical collision it is checked if there is an overlap in the
validity interval if at least one of the records is a full-day
( that is the case when you enter a Daily Work Schedule (DWS) )
So when one of the records has a DWS it is considered to be a full day
record and the logical collision is taken into consideration.
If instead you enter the only the time interval manually the records
are considered to be partial-day and the physical collision is
performed. In that case only the time interval is important.
So if the clock times are not entered the physical collision can not
take place.
The collision functionality is always based on clock times and dates,
never on the total nr of hours.

My daughter received an I phone for Christmas and we set it up using my iTunes account. She just received an iPad and wants to set up her own iTunes account. How do we do that without losing all of her content that she added to my iTunes account. I have home sharing on my account.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
If she creates her own iTunes account she can't use any protected content purchased under another account. She can play unprotected content synced from an iTunes library on a computer, but she can only download content from the cloud that is purchased under her account.
It's a pain I know, but the longer you put off the move, the worse the situation will become. -

Hi..
If you are using Mac Mail, from the Mail menu bar top of your screen click Mail > Take All Accounts Offline then click Take All Accounts Online.
You should not lose any unopened or saved mail. -

You can't. Your mysterious benefactor must remove the device from her (I guess you know it's a her?) iCloud account by logging into icloud.com, going to Find my iPhone and removing from there.

BGP Router process is in charge to determine the best path and processes any route "churn". It also sends and receives routes, establishes peers, and interacts with the routing information base (RIB).
So I suggest to check what make this process working hard. Depending on that you can choose what to do: bgp dampening (if you have many changes in advertisement received form a neighbor), tuning timer (if neighbor is flapping), using peer-group / update-groups to reduce the amount of job your BGP process has to do to process updates etc...

How to open a URL without session ID and reuse the current browser session?
Hi All,
I have a question about HTMLDB 2.0
How to open a URL without session ID and reuse the current browser session?
That was the behaviour in HTMLDB 1.6 ...
My usecase for this is the following:
We have written an issue tracking application, which sends e-mail to the interested users, when something happens.
In these email we've put a link to some page, with some parameters in the URL.
The idea is for the user to be easy to click on the hyperlink and to see the details of the ticket.
When the user clicks on such a link he is directed to a login screen (page 101) and he enters his Username and password, and is then forwarded to the details for the ticket.
Then he receives another email (e.g. for another ticked). He clicks on the link and :
a) in HTMLDB 1.6 he goes to the details as he didn't close his browser and session is remembered
b) in HTMLDB 2.0 he is prompted to enter username, password with the username populated
Please tell me how can I achieve the same behaviour in HTMLDB2.0 as it was in HTMLDB 1.6.
I understand this change is somehow security related, althogh I don't understand how. If you can explain this either I would be very happy?
Best regards,

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You could simply set each device to only use a single telephone number (settings > messages > send & receive, but this isn't really an ideal solution since the other person can always change their settings and see your messages and send messages that appear as if they are from you. There is only one real solution and that's to have your own accounts. -
Match a po to an invoice without receiving
Hello,
Please read the following issue and advise on a solution.
PO 381: column "segment1" in table "po_headers_all" is an approved purchase order of 9 lines, with po header id 797,
in a foreign currency of the reporting set of books of the company. It has a record with revision 1 in our first implemented organization X1 which it's primary set of book was in currency1.
In organization X1 the po order date was on 2007 and it had two receipts 359 which has transactions of the first 6 lines and 450 has the last the receiving transactions of the last 3 lines in 2007.
The 9 lines represent 5 items; same items lines might be different in prices. There are no matched invoices to the po in x1.
A new organization X2 was created because we changed the primary set of books currency.
The inventory items balances were moved at the begining of 2008 as open inventory balances to organization X2,
and the po 381 was moved with po header id 1577 with revision 0 to the new organization still with foreign currency s its currency.
In the new organization the PO was moved in 5 lines each one of them represents the total quantity of one of the items in the original PO.
One of the items was moved to organization X2 with total quantity less by 10000, and the price doesnot reflect the original lines in organization X1.
A receipt was made by mistake in the X2 organization and the items were returned to vendor so it will not affect the inventory balance .
Now we have the following issues:
1. How can I compare the ending balance of the item in organization X1 to the opening balance of organization X2;
with a query from the database or a standard report, to ensure that the balance was copied correctly?
2. How can we pay the supplier in the new organization X2 and match an invoice to the PO without receiving all the items again?
Thank You ...Hi,

It's nothing to do with the way you send them. Every mail client chooses how to cope with attachments: in some there is a preference setting but in many cases it automatically displays embedded images. Even where there is a preference setting it's up to the person receiving the email: you can't control it. Why are they so fussed about your sending as an attachment? The image can be saved easily enough, usually by dragging it to the Desktop, or by a button to save attachments. If they really want this you are going to have to zip it, there isn't any other way round it. -
EIGRP vs BGP route path selection scenario
I am looking for a routing solution to the following scenario. It is a fairly simple design.
I have two WAN connections between sites A and B. One is a 20 Meg Metro Ethernet Circuit running EIGRP. The other is a 10 Meg MPLS running BGP. What do I need to do in my configuration to make sure that the 20 Meg connection is the chosen path based off the fact that it has better speed and bandwidth? It appears to me that the MPLS is the preferred path even though it is slower.

Doesn't matter what the bandwidth is.
If you want to prefer the 20Mbps links then there are a number of options -
1) if you can summarise each sites subnets then advertise the summary via BGP and the more specific via EIGRP. More specific will be chosen even before AD is taken into account.
2) change the AD of either BGP or EIGRP so EIGRP ends up with the lower AD
3) run BGP on both links although you would still need to manipulate the attributes to make sure the link you want is used.
