I'm going to install SSD in my Macbook pro, how do I install for example OSX Lion? I dont have any CD with OSX Lion as far as I know.
Ideally, you should clone your HD as Bimmer 7 Series explains.
However, if your computer originally shipped with Lion or Mountain Lion, a clone is not necessary to merely reinstall OS X. OS X Internet Recovery will create a recovery partition, download the installer package, and install it on a completely empty SSD or HD.
Even if your computer shipped with Snow Leopard, it may be eligible to download a firmware update that creates the same ability: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4904 -
INSTALL [for PERSONALIZATION]
Hi
I'm using the JCOP Dev Tools V1.4.0 within Eclipse V3.7.1 to develop a card applet that loads a secret key using the INSTALL [for Personalization] and Store Data commands after instantiation. The commands I use are:
INSTALL [for Perso] 80E62000<blah>
STORE DATA 80E28000<secret blah>
This works well when loading to the phone but fails when loading to either the simulator or the development Java card I use. It returns 0x6A86 (Incorrect parameters P1-P2) in response to the INSTALL command and it does this whether I'm using the send command in the JCShell script or my own PC application (again, both of which work with the phone).
So my questions are:
1) Am I right in thinking that the error response is being returned simply because neither the card nor the simulator supports the INSTALL [for Perso] command or is there something more that I'm missing?
2) If it’s not supported then can anyone tell me if there is a card I can select in the simulator that will support it and allow me to test the code in DEBUG mode? I’ve tried a selection but each one has failed.
3) I've done this using the send command to send both the INSTALL and STORE DATA commands. Is there a JCShell command that implements the INSTALL [for Perso]?
The INSTALL [for Perso] / STORE DATA system has been imposed upon me by the system I'm using so I can’t use alternatives like using the INSTALL’s C9 data to load the key. In order to continue using the simulator I've had to create a back-door command that allows me to load the key outside of the INSTALL / STORE DATA method. This is obviously not ideal and so any options the community can give me to get this solution working in the simulator would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advancehi
processData() is called after you send a GP INSTALL FOR PERSONNALIZATION, then send STORE DATA commands. you get the contents of the store data apdu's after unwrapping by the secure channel.
the extended process data is the same as this, except that it can also return data. To use it you have to implement the org.globalplatform.Personnalization interface.
All of this is described in:

How to execute KISR for multiple cycles in one step?
CO Experts,

PeterHi Samir,
Please feel free to take a look at Liaison Messenger EDD, www.liaisonsc.com
Messenger EDD automates business form and report distribution and uses your existing SAP reports. The end user selects either a batch or a single document through your normal print process in SAP but now uses our Messenger EDD print driver and Messenger will then distribute the documents selected based on rules you set up at initial configuration.
For example, through the single print selection:
- Distribute Invoices to the customers preference (print, fax, or email) if email, it attaches a PDF of the document
- Archive a copy to desired folder
- Print a hard copy to attach to other paperwork
- Attach a static or variable attachment like terms and conditions, marketing PDF, or supporting variable documents.
* PDF creation is included with the product.
Set up similar rules for Sales Orders, PO's, Statements or even shipping documents like Packing Slips, Picking Tickets, Bills of Lading and
International docs, etc.
Please reach me at [email protected] or 714.543.9877x201 if you have any questions or would like to view an on-line demonstration.
Best Regards,
Tom Nielsen

I had previously purchased the programs "Pages" and "Numbers" and they are on my iPhone and iPad I was told that the programs would automatically copy a version of itself for the iMac to be running them but I don't see it installed. How can I install for free? I see that I could go to the apple store and purchase them again but I belibve that since I had already purchased them; I would get a free copy for my Imac. Do I got something confused here? Please help.
Whoever told you that was misinformed or lying. Those applications are sold separately for the iOS platform and the Mac platform.
Go to the Mac App Store to purchase Pages and Numbers for your Mac. They're $20 each. If you are running an older version of Mac OS X that can't use the Mac App Store, you can purchase install media from Apple. -

Download/install the trial from http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-13-direct-download-links-premiere.html then activate it with your serial number.
Make sure you follow the Very Important Instructions on that page.
If you need more help, you better ask in the Photoshop Elements forum instead of here in the Flash Player forum. -
How to execute orainstRoot.sh during non-interactive install
I'm creating a non-interactive install for 8.1.7 using the
-silent and -responseFile switches. However, the install
continues to hang when it gets to the point where orainstRoot.sh
needs to be run as root. The oracle response file titled
svrcustom.rsp only takes into account the need to run root.sh.
There is no provision for orainstRoot.sh. Has anyone else encountered this and, if
so, how did you get around this?
Thanks,
BruceHi:
Oracle patching utility (adpatch) is optimized not to execute/copy the file unless the version in the $Header is higher in the patch as compared to the instance. Please bump up the $Header version within the script and update the package to pull in the changed file. When you deploy the package again, the file should get invoked.
Thanks,
Lokesh

How can I install apps on a device that has a "for work" app installed?
Hi, I have an iPod touch version 4.3.5 (ML1). Model is MC540C.
It has been provided for me from work, but I can use it as I wish.
The apps that are installed are:
Facetime
Music
Photos
Camera
Videos
YouTube
Stocks
Notes
Weather
Utilities
App Store
Game Center
Settings
Contacts
iTunes
Safari
Maps
Mail
Calendar
"one app installed by company"
The last app is needed for when I do work. It doesn't need to run on the background. When I'm doing work, I need to input some information in that app, and sync it to my company's server.
I would like to install some apps (free) of my choosing. But I'm coming across a hurdle...
I choose "App Store" in Home.
I search for a free App (for example the Google Search app by Google Inc)
I'm taken to the app's info screen. I tap the blue "Free" button.
The button becomes a green "Install App" button.
I get a pop-up box saying
Apple ID password
[email protected]
[password]
How can I install apps of my choosing without having a "work app" get deleted? This work app was installed on the "[email protected]" Apple ID.
Thank you.Ingo2711, when you did this:
I logged out of my AppleID on the iPod, took it to his computer, synced it, which erased all of my apps. I installed the default apps plus one app that he bought using his account info.
You made his computer the syncing computer.
When you did this:
Connected to my Mac and iTunes and tried to sync one of the apps I bought with my account. The app shows up on one of the pages before you start the sync, but once you apply the sync, it does not transfer.
And, of cause, no restrictions set at all.
You changed syncing computers but you can only sync apps (and some other things like photos) from only your one syncing computer. -
How do I install an Add-on for all users
I wish to user the FoxFilter addon to prevent users from visit all websites, except a whitelist. This addon works fine. I just need the addon to work for all users on the computer. Not just the one the addon was installed for. Can this be done and if so, how?
This is very possible and you can do it in few very steps.
<br/><br/>1-First you have to download the xpi add-on file instead of installing it.
<br/><br/>2-Use the following command at the run prompt (type Windows + R): firefox -install-global-extension
<br/><br/>For example if your downloaded xpi add-on is on C:\Users\Simon\Downloads\
<br/><br/>Then you write firefox -install-global-extension C:\Users\Simon\Downloads
<br/><br/>Note : The addon will be normally available where every addon is. Keep in mind that only administrators can uninstall it.
Have a nice day
Sincerely,

My company bought CS5.5 Creative Suite, and one of my coworkers used our license for Dreamweaver on his computer. Now he has left the company, and I would like to install the license on my computer so I can use it from my station.
When we installed the software on his computer, we simply downloaded the trial version and then entered our serial number. However, now I can only find the download for CS6, and putting my serial number in there for CS5.5 does not magically download that version for me, unfortunately.
Does anyone know how I can install the license on my computer? I thought it would be allowed to have it on two computers, just only one computer would be able to access the software at a time. I just need to figure out how to install it...I talked to Adobe staff, and apparently I needed to use the Adobe licensing website, licensing.adobe.com. I'll need to talk to my IT department, who bought the software, to get the account information for the site, but I'm on the way to success!

How can I install logic pro 7.2 (made for power pc) on a brand new Macbook pro with OSX 10.7.4?
This message appears: You can't open the aplication LogicPro.mpkg because power pc aplications are no longer compatible.
Thanks folksYou should be able to copy all the files from your old computer, although it might not work if the old machine didn't have an intel processor. When I got a new Mac a few months ago, I used the migration assistant to copy everything from my old computer's time machine backup disk. All my old pro apps, such as Final Cut Pro 6, work fine on the new machine under Lion.
Later, I wanted to install Soundtrack pro and couldn't do it from the original disks. So I installed it on my old machine and copied the files. It worked perfectly.
