How to Explicit Check-Out

Hello,
How do I check-out the source code explicitly in the Netweaver developer Studio. I know, when we create new code, it prompts for check-out. But where is the context menu to choose check-out?.

Hi Sunita,
the option is named "Edit (exclusive)" when you do a checkout using the context menu.
If you let the wizard tell you when you have to check out there is a checkbox giving you the alternative to do an exclusive checkout.
Please keep in mind that this is not good practice in Java. But it can help you avoiding merging in WD as there is no tool support yet. So use it with care.

Subscribed folders download headers only and when you select to read an email, it is retrieved from the server and stored in a temporary cache to faciltate quick access to reading.

If you did not synchronise those subscribed folders then a copy was never stored in your Thunderbird profile imap mail account.
As you have modified the IMAP mail account and it is currently accessing the new hosting server, so cannot display anything on a different server, I would leave it alone because it is working just fine.
What you could try is to create a new IMAP mail account with server settings to the old host server using the old password.
File > New > exisitng mail account
Enter name, email address and password
click on 'Continue'
If you do manage to get access, then synchronise the subscribed folders to get a copy downloaded to Thunderbird Profile folders. As those folders are constantly updating to match the server, once you have the emails downloaded, go into 'offline' mode and move them into 'Local Folders'; you will need to make new folders in Local Folders account for those emails.
However, it is possible that you may not get access as that contract has ended. There is no obligation for the old host company to keep your emails if you do not have an account with them. In which case those emails will be lost.
After creating new imap mail account, if you get access do as advised to get emails into Local Folders, once emails are in Local folders you can remove/delete the imap mail account. If it does not work, you can delete the imap mail account.

You have to use Safari to check your email.
You can't sign out of the Mail App.

How to force checked out CSV Files to open in Excel and not in Notepad

Hi,
I'm looking for some pointers / direction.
.CSV files on SharePoint 2010 document library opens up in notepad by default. I did the DocIcon.xml CSV entry, changed the MIME type in IIS and did the IIS reset. Also on client computer CSV file is associated with MS Excel 2013. Now clicking a CSV file
opens it up in MS Excel.
Now a user checks out a CSV file and the same user clicks on the CSV file, the file is opening in notepad! If other users clicks on the same checked out file (checked out by the first user) it opens up in Excel for them. I've tried the 'Edit in Microsoft
Excel' from the pop up menu but with same result.
How can I force a checked out CSV file to open in MS Excel?

1. Highlight one of the images and press cmd+i (or right click and select "Get info")
2. Click the dropdown menu and select Photoshop (you might have to click "Other..." to find it.
3. Then click "Change All" button below.
You're going to have to do this with every different TYPE of image (e.g. jpeg, tiff etc) but once you've covered all the types you won't have the problem again.

How to handle check-out files of users that are no longer with the company?

We have cases that files were checked out and modified, but the engineers left before they check-in the files. What's the right way to handle such cases? Does the project admin have right to check-in for the engineers? How can we make another person to

Thanks for your post.
Do you want check-in that files within the changes which that left engineer created to TFS Server? If yes, you need logon that engineer’s client using his account, then get modified files on this client and perform check-in.
If you don’t need that changes which modified by that left engineer, just the check-out files on this client caused other users cannot work on that files, you can ask the team project admin user to perform
tf undo command on that files to resolve this checked-out issue.
For example, the files be checked-out under workspace1, so execute this command “tf undo $/xx/xx(file path)
/collection:collectionURL /workspace:workspace1 /recursive” to undo it

How can I check out the computers my Apple ID is activated on?

Hi there!
I hope there is a simple solution for this issue: I want to see not only how many, but which computers are connected to my Apple ID. In iTunes I can see that 5 computers are activated, but the only option is to deactivate all of them (which I really don't want to). Beneath that I can see that 4 deviced are connected to my Apple ID/iCloud.
Is there any way to delete only one or two devices? Can I reactivate a device after deleting it or do I have to wait 90 days?

You cannot. There is no list.
You can only deauthorize a computer from that computer.
If you have reached the limit of 5, then deauthorize all and authorize the active computers.

After the full clean installation of Lion, the MBP 13" has started too be too much slow. How can i check it out in order to solve this big problem? tks in advance!

After i completed a full and clean installation of Lion, (it's to say not upgrading Snow Leopard but inizialing the hd and installing the new OS), every operations have started to make the laptop too much slow just working on Safari or Iphoto. BS heißt "Bull___****". *lol* "Betriebssystem" heißt imemr noch "operating system". GoLive wirste wohl gar nicht zum laufen kriegen. ohnehin würde man es nicht mehr verwenden, weil es noch nicht mal CSS2 voll unterstützt geschweige denn HTML 5 und andere moderne Webstandards. Wenn überhaupt, dann findeste vielleicht noch 'ne OEM CD von Strato oder 1und1 bei eBay. Die haben das damals mit jedem neuen Hostingvertrag rausgehauen. Aber wie gesagt, es ist den Aufwand nicht wert. Illustrator sollte sich durchaus installieren lassen. Eventuell einfach nochmal die Installer im Win XP Kompatibilitätsmodus laufen lassen...

CVS Checking Out Module

Hi,
How can I check out files in CVS that aren't at the highest level of the CVS tree? In this case, I don't want everything in the module's path, but only want a module that's down the tree.
It seems the only way to get files from CVS is to use the wizard?
How annoying. Right now I have to go to WinCVS, and get the exact module I want instead of the whole tree.

In the Check Out Module dialog, you just specify a path in the "Module Name" field. This argument is passed straight through to the cvs checkout command.
E.g. if you just wanted to check out the subdirectory src/META-INF of the module mytool, you'd specify:
mytool/src/META-INF
in the Module Name field.
Alternatively, you can select a subdirectory directly from the CVS Navigator and use checkout without having to type in a path.
You didn't mention which version of JDeveloper you're using, I'm assuming 10.1.3 above.

- Click on the system disk (Macintosh HD) and Verify Disk.
- Does it report errors or does it finish normally?

How Many Enterprise Resources Can Be Checked-Out at Any One Time?

Using Project Server Online, I am trying to select and edit a resource pool containing approximately 1200 enterprise resources in MS Project Professional 2013. I can open a few at a time, but when I "select all" it does not do anything.
Is there a limit on how many enterprise resources we can check out at a time?

OK..I was able to edit 495 resources at a given time. The moment I click 496th resource, nothing happens when I click the Open in Project button.
So, to Dale's point, there seems to be some kind of limit on the number of resources that can be edited at any given time, but what's puzzling is that the limit seems to be different for every tenant.
I will try and find more information, but at this point, the solution is something you already know. Edit few resources at a time.
