How to export a muse websiite into Dreamweaver?

There are certain things I wan to add to my website that muse dose not offer. How do I export my muse sit to dream weaver?

Think twice before doing this. I don't recommend it.  MU code is horrible to work with. And you won't like what you see in DW.  More importantly, exported HTML from MU cannot be maintained in MU again.
If you want to add advanced web features to your site, re-build your site in DW.

Not Ben this time, but this video explains how to Export Muse site to your local hard drive.

Once it's saved to your local HD, you need to open DW and define a local site.  Go to Site > New Site > tell DW where your newly exported MU files are located on your HD.  See screenshot.

  • How do I look up how to put Cafe townsend  tutorial into dreamweaver

How do I ask how to put Cafe Townsend Tutorial into dreamweaver. I have a mac. The tutorial notes say follow this line
(Mac OS X) Macintosh HD/Users/your_user_name/Documents/local_site. I don't understand what each section means. If someone called explain it that would be great as I ended up with an empty folder in dreamweaver with the name 'Cafe Townsend' on it. Thank you

Right.  It's an empty local site folder until you put something into it.
Go to step 2.  Download and unzip the Check_Magazine.Zip files
    http://download.macromedia.com/pub/developer/check_magazine.zip
Go to step 3. Copy the check_magazine folder into your local_sites folder (Cafe Townsend).

  • Dreamweaver Can I import muse pages into Dreamweaver and "up grade" them

Dreamweaver Can I import muse pages into Dreamweaver and "up grade" them
Muse is terrific for basic pages, but forms, and scripts require more capability
Also is there anyone watching this who does freelance work on web design?

    Thanks Murray
Yes I have looked at the Muse code and also looked at it in a plain html editor, (Been using Arachnophilia for about 15 years)
and the code is a mess.
You are dead right. I figured I would start with Muse to get some of the concepts sorted out, and that has worked, but I know I will need to use DW for my main site
CanLaw has about 1500 pages all done in html with tables….
    time to play catch up
Ton of work, but I have a masochistic bent anyway
But in the long run life will be simpler if I make the effort now.

  • Mobile Learning! How can I integrate jquizme plugin into Dreamweaver phonegap jquery mobile platform

Im a student working on a mlearn project. Im initially familiar with Basic Dreamweaver. I dont know however how to go about integrating jquizme plugin (an opensource elearn evaluation package) into Dreamweaver CS5.5
    jquizme URL = http://code.google.com/p/jquizme
    All helps are welcomed.

@idesdema: Have a look at this tutorial: http://www.codeforest.net/jquery-mobile-advanced-tutorial-rss-reader-app
It includes a demo as well as a download link to the source files.
Also, if you want to take it a step further, you can create & manage a 'local database' without having to access anything remotely - basically handling everything at the client's end.
    There's a tutorial for that here: http://the-jquerymobile-tutorial.org/jquery-mobile-tutorial-CH22.php
    Good luck.

  • Problem with exporting Fireworks mock-up into Dreamweaver

    Hallo everyone,
I’m  beginner in Fireworks and Dreamweaver. Right now I am working on a  mock-up of a web-site in Fireworks. Just for practice, I created very  simple structure in Fireworks CS5 (two rectangles with one line of text  in 3 different languages placed into one rectangle). When I exported  created page into Dreamweaver CS5 as Html and Images, it looked nice  (obviously, since it is Html and Images). Then I tried to export the  page as CSS and Images. The strange thing is that the page looks fine  when displayed in Firefox, but the text breaks into two lines when  displayed in Explorer or Opera. Moreover, the design of the page in  Dreamweaver doesn’t replicate the Fireworks’ mock-up and looks not as  nice as in Fireworks. For you reference I am including the Html and CSS  code that was created by Fireworks. Does anybody have an idea what is  happening and what should I do to prevent this kind of problems when  trying exporting more complicated Fireworks mock-ups?
    Sincerely yours,
    Arti

  • How to export my finished video into facebook ?

I really dont know how to export my 30 min film into facebook any idea,s please...Thanks...

In FaceBook, start a new status update on your wall. Click "Attach" and select the Video Icon (2nd from left). Click "Upload Video". Click "Choose File". Navigate to your movie file.
Note: You will need to edit your movie. Facebook has a limitation of 20 minutes for Videos they host there. Or you can split it in two and post Part 1 and Part 2.
To split it, select your movie in the Project Library List in iMovie. Right-click on the name and select "Duplicate". You will now have two copies of your movie. Name one My Movie Part 1 and the other My Movie Part 2 (for example.) Then in Part 1, eliminate the scenes and the second half of the movie. Etc.

  • Keynote '08: How to export an iPhoto slideshow into Keynote

Is it possible to export an iphoto slideshow into keynote?
    Thanks!

Answered my own question! Exported iPhoto slideshow to desktop - where it appeared as a .mov file -- then dragged & dropped that into Keynote. It plays there, photos & music exactly as designed in iPhoto - remote works to start and stop also! Perfect!

  • How to export photos AND settings into a new iPhoto library

    Hello,
My iPhoto library is becoming humongeous (slow, risk of corrupting the file etc), hence I'd like to split it into various libraries (which I can manage with the very useful iPhoto Library Manager (shareware)).
How can I export not only the photos themselves, but their settings (metadata), i.e. Albums and Events, perhaps even slideshows.
    Any ideas/pointers/suggestions are most welcome.
    Cheers,
    Veit (from Austria)

Here is what I found in the iPhoto Library Manger's Help section: indeed the "elegant way" to copy pix AND their metadata. Many thanks for being so helpful.
    Cheers,
    Veit
    Copying Albums
When keeping your photos separated in multiple libraries, you sometimes have the need to move a set of photos from one library to another. With iPhoto, the only way to do this is to export the photos from one library and then import them into another. However, in the process of doing this, you lose all the data you've worked to assign to your photos, such as titles, dates, keywords, and ratings. iPhoto Library Manager provides a way to copy photos from one library to another without losing this valuable information.
An album of photos can be copied from one library to another by dragging the album(s) you want to copy from the albums list in the main iPhoto Library Manager window and dropping them onto the library you would like to copy them to. iPhoto Library Manager will first collect the information about those photos from the source library, and then import those photos into the destination library and restore all the photo information as it was before. If a photo has been modified in the original library, then the original version of the photo will also be transferred to the destination library, so that the "Revert to original" command in iPhoto will work as expected. If you drag more than one album at once, and a photo belongs to more than one of those albums, the photo will only be imported once, but will be added to all the appropriate newly created albums in the destination library.
Some notes on what will and won't be copied when copying albums between libraries: [and so on ...]
