How to export an album straight to facebook?

I used to be able to directly export my pictures from iPhoto directly to Facebook, but when I made updates to my computer, the feature went away.  Anyone know how to do this with iPhoto '08?

Been a while but I believe that in '08 you could select the photos and under share choose factbook - the iPhoto Help menu can be a wonderful way to lean about specific features

  • How to export an album and keep images in the same order in elements 11 mac

I made an album of my trip to Australia (lots of pictures) and changed the order of the images (not the same as shooting order) and when I export the images in the album to a folder or memorystick, the images are copied to that place but I lost the album order of the images.
How can I prevent that, without having to renumber al 500 images separatly?

    Thanks for the tip, Michel
    It worked like a charm…

The order in album is only kept in the organizer database, so the only way not to lose that order is to rename files.
If you are using the 'export' function, select your album in custom order, select all photos and in the dialog, choose to rename with a common base name.

  • How to export iPhoto Album in iMAC and have similar folder structure(with Timestamps) which can be viewed in finder

How to export iPhoto Album in iMAC and have similar folder structure(with Timestamps) which can be viewed in finder
In simple terms, I wanted to view the photos in Windows system, similar strcture of iPhotos

If you want to copy all of your photos to a Windows machine and have them in folders representing the iPhoto Events the were in quickly and easily just do the following:
1  - open the library with the Finder as shown in this screenshot:
2 - COPY the Originals/Masters folder to the Desktop.
3 - copy the Originals/Masters folder to the Windows machine.
This will give you all of your original image file in their Event folder on the Windows machine.
NOTE:  With iPhoto 8 or newer the Event folders in the Masters folder will be titled by date (EXIF) if imported from a camera.  If imported from a folder the event folder will have the same title as the source folder.  If imported singularly or in a group without a folder the title will be a date, either the EXIF date or import date.
With iPhoto 7 (08) and earlier the Event folders in the Originals folder will have the same title as the Event has in the library.
This method would be quicker but not provide the additional metadata you might have added in iPhoto like keywords, titles, descriptions that exporting out of iPhoto with Format=JPEG and the checkboxes selected to include keywords, titles, places, etc, checked.

How can I export iPhoto Albums to the Library or iBook?

You're posting in the iPhoto for iOS forum... you know, iPad, iPhone, etc.  That's why I brought up the camera roll.  If your question is directed to iPhoto on the Mac, this isn't the right forum.  You need to go here:

  • How to export my finished video into facebook ?

I really dont know how to export my 30 min film into facebook any idea,s please...Thanks...

In FaceBook, start a new status update on your wall. Click "Attach" and select the Video Icon (2nd from left). Click "Upload Video". Click "Choose File". Navigate to your movie file.
Note: You will need to edit your movie. Facebook has a limitation of 20 minutes for Videos they host there. Or you can split it in two and post Part 1 and Part 2.
To split it, select your movie in the Project Library List in iMovie. Right-click on the name and select "Duplicate". You will now have two copies of your movie. Name one My Movie Part 1 and the other My Movie Part 2 (for example.) Then in Part 1, eliminate the scenes and the second half of the movie. Etc.

  • How to export multiple albums with a single export??

If there's a way to do this, I haven't been able to figure it out...
If I have a project that contains X number of albums, is there a way to do a single export of the project/albums so that the exported jpgs are automatically put into folders that have the same names as the albums? As opposed to having to go to each album one at a time, create a folder with the same name as the album, and export the images it contains, then repeat for the next album.
Hope I'm being clear the way I explained it...thanks for any tips,
    -Nelson

    Hi
    What is your source data?
If the source is external to the SQL Server (like a log file, Excel, CSV, JSON, XML, external application...) you can and should insert it all using Bulk Insert operation.
Pls clarify what is your source data, and if you need more help using Bulk Insert.

  • PSE 9 - how to export online album to web?

Hi everyone - I know all the PSE versions from PSE5 on, but version 9 is driving me nuts :-) Most recently I'm struggling with the online albums - where did the option to publish it to a FTP server go? When clicking "share" I only see "Photoshop Showcase", "hard disc" and "CD/DVD" - but none of them is working. An error window tells me that a component is missing and I should try to re-install - which I did repeatedly, but the error continues...
Thanx in advance for any ideas... Gabi from Germany

    Hi, 99jon - I don't see a "other" option, only this:
Whatever I choose, this error follows:
Roughly translated: "An error occured while loading this album template. A help file could be missing or corrupted. Re-install the program to solve the problem". Unfortunatly re-installing does not solve the problem :-(
    Greetings from Germany - Gabi

  • Facebook Export - Existing Albums Not Found

I have recently tried using Bridge to export photos to Facebook. However once I sign in, the box labeled "Existing Albums" is empty. This seems odd because I have over twenty existing albums on my Facebook page. Every time I want add photos to an existing album, I am forced click "Create a Photo Album" to create a new one then transfer the files from the new album to an existing one via the Facebook site.
Anyone else having this issue? Any solutions?
(Using Bridge CS5 v4.0.2.1 on Mac OsX 10.5.8)

    Dear users,
I’m glad to share a news with you. The Bridge Facebook module has ported to new Facebook API, also it fixed this issue (Existing albums do not show up). We have published the new version of Facebook to update server. You can update it by following steps
    1) launch Bridge and open Export panel.
    2) Select Manage Modules menu from fly-out menu of the Export panel.
    3) Select Check for Updates from Module Options menu.
    4) Wait for a while, a message pop up to notify you the update is complete.
    5) Restart Bridge, then you can use the new Facebook module.
Also, Bridge will automatically update Export Modules when you attempt to use a module. Please note that don’t do any export job when updating and Facebook presets might need to re-login before working.
The main change is the authorization steps. It uses a dialog instead of Explorer.
    Thanks

  • I have finally figured out how to export an iphoto album so that I can maintain the proper order of the photos after burning the file. How do I keep each individual photo title and description after exporting and burning?

I have finally figured out how to export an iphoto album so that I can maintain the proper order of the photos after burning the file. How do I keep each individual photo title and description after exporting and burning?  Presently after exporting and burning each photo is identified by the file name rather than each individual title description.

File name and Title are not the same thing.
Filename is attached to the Jpeg file in the Finder.
Title is attached to the photo within the Jpeg file - as is the description. These are written to the Exif and IPTC metadata on export.
So: File -> Export. Kind: Jpeg or Tiff and Check the box at 'Title and Keywords'. This will write the Title, keywords and descriptions (though not explicitly stated) to the metadata. This can then be viewed in any app that understand this material.
You can choose, if you wish, to also use the Title as a Filename - that's an option at File Name
    Regards
    TD

how do i export an album in iphoto to a harddrive

Simply, you don't. An Album is a concept that exists in iPhoto only and not in the Finder.
What you can do is export the photos from the Album to a Folder on the Hard Drive. Use the File -> Export command.

  • I added 2 cd's to itunes 11, I have an ipod classic 30gb, how do I export the albums from itunes to my ipod?

Hi Ihave an ipod classic 30gb, i imported 2 cd's into itunes on win xp pro sp3, how do I export the albums from itunes to my ipod?

It depends on how you previously added content to the iPod?  Or are saying the iPod is currently empty, and you want to add these albums to it?
If you want to sync your entire iTunes music library to the iPod, which may or may not be just these two albums at this point, you can do the following.  Select the iPod in iTunes, so that you see the iPod's "management" screen.  If you are using the latest iTunes 12, you do this by clicking the "device button" on the horizontal bar that goes across the iTunes window (near the top).  The button's icon looks like the connected device.
On the iPod's screen, there is a sidebar (along left side of window).  In the sidebar, under Settings, click Music.  To the right, the iPod's Music settings screen is shown, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.  Near the top, there is a checkbox for Sync Music.  Check that box to enable automatic syncing.  NOTE:  If that box is not already checked, checking it will replace the iPod's existing content with content from your iTunes library.  Any songs on the iPod now that are not in your current iTunes library will be lost.
Below that setting, there are two options for how to sync songs.  30GB is a decent amount of storage space, so if your entire iTunes library can fit on your iPod, you can use the option to sync Entire music library.  Then click Apply.  iTunes syncs your entire iTunes music library to your iPod.  Going forward, any changes to your iTunes music library (such as adding more albums or songs) will sync automatically to the iPod, the next time it is connected (or when you click Sync if already connected).
If your situation is different, please reply back with more details.

  • How to export and import a whole album?

I know you can export files in an album as files but how can you export the album as a whole and then import that into another machines iphoto.

    Robert:
Select the album and uses the Share->Burn Disk option. That will create an iPhoto organized disk that will show up in the source pane of the other Mac's iPhoto library (like this). All you need to do is drag the album icon under the disc icon onto the library icon and that album will be copied into that library as a new roll. Actually, as I recall, if you drag the album icon into the Source pane it will be copied as a new album and roll.

  • How to export and import albums between libraries in AP2

In AP2, I transfer projects from my travel library to the home master library by exporting each project and then importing it into the master library. All objects created within a project will transfer over.
However, I'm not sure how to export and then import objects that are "outside" of specific projects, for example, an album or smart album that pulls from multiple projects.
Can anyone tell me how to transfer these sorts of objects between two libraries?
    Thanks

    Ian,
So, in other words, you're saying that it's not possible to export directly objects (like smart albums) that reside outside of projects?
I know, for example, you can "export" anything created inside a folder by dragging and dropping the folder to another library; but you then have to rebuild the library to get the new folder and its contents to be recognized. For my library, this takes too much time to do.
