How to export destinations from server

Hi,
I have some Dynpro components which uses destinations which i have created on the server but i need to transfer my dynpro components to another server and the destinations also but how to transfer the destinations from one server to another or how to take a backup of destinations
If anybody know this please reply

Hi Amol,
For that i have created the destinations on the server, Now i want to transfer my application from the server on which i have created the destinations to a new server for that is there is any way to export or take backup from the old server and import on new server?
No, you should create destinations for ur services after migrating from old server to new server.
And again one thing is i am creating 1 destination for the 1 CAF service, is there is any way to use one destination for all the services from a single server?
while creating destinations for ur service , u will find a option as Destination Type("WSIL,Services Registry and WSDL") , using this service registry option , u can use one common destination for group of services (Note : for this , u should publish the service first in the service registry).
or u can use the WSIL option , just give the wsil url (for eg : http://<nwserver>:<port number>/inspection.wsil)
Please check this options first (i have not tried till now).
Hope it helps
Thanks and Regards

  • How to export XML from server to local machine

    i want to export some XML files from instance to my local machine.right now i m i have Ftpied the files from server to to my local machine but ,but it is not coming with personalization .
    thanx in advance
    Pratap

    Hi Paratap,
    If you want to see source of the page use
    call jdr_utils.printDocument('/oracle/apps/pos/orders/webui/PosVpoMainPG');
    If you want to see the personalization for the source use
    call jdr_utils.printDocument('/oracle/apps/pos/orders/webui/customizations/site/0/PosVpoMainPG');
    I have given these examples for site level personalization, depanding upon the personalization level the path may vary.
    You can also export the files using XMLExporter by giving appropriate path.
    You can FTP all other source files from the server.

  • How to export tables from development server to production server

    HI,
    Any body plz let me know how to export tables from development server to production server. what are the user names and password i need to ask my manager to do that. what are the requirements i need to ask him.
    Plz reply me ASAP.
    Thanks in advance.

    hi buddy
    first of all you should let us know the environment of production and development servers
    database versions
    and you need to have userid which has privilege to export tables of other schema. userid(owner) of the tables you want to export.
    Traditional way
    export tables in development server and then ftp to production and then import
    in the above case you should have similar database structure(tablespace etc) to avoid errors...
    if there are few tables only , you can use dblink instead of export and import...

  • How to get file from server while click on link

    Hi,
    i created on link and i gave one server path to select file from server but while clickinng on link it no displaying any thing.
    following is the Destination url that i gave for the item.
    /u08/app/appvis/xxex/inst/xxex_apps/xxrbe/logs/appl/conc/log/
    please tell me how to get file from server while click on link.

    Ok I got your requirement now.
    If you are getting file names from view attribute then you should not be adding destination URI property for the link.
    Instead you can use OADataBoundValueViewObject API.
    Try below code in your controller processRequest method:
    I am assuming that you are using classic table.
    Also in below example it considers OAMessageStyleText and you can replace it with link item if you want.
    OATableBean tableBean =
    (OATableBean)webBean.findChildRecursive("<table item id>");
    OAMessageStyledTextBean m= (OAMessageStyledTextBean)tableBean.findChildRecursive("<message styled text in table item id>");
    OADataBoundValueViewObject tip1 = new OADataBoundValueViewObject(m, "/u08/app/appvis/xxex/inst/xxex_apps/xxrbe/logs/appl/conc/log/"+"<vo attr name which stores file name for each row>");
    m.setAttributeValue(oracle.cabo.ui.UIConstants.DESTINATION_ATTR, tip1);

    How to export photos from photo gallery to my iPad

    I had no trouble finding the "Export" tools in the "File" menu. They are greyed out when no photo is selected, but they are functional after selecting one or more photos.
    I agree that it would be nice to have the "Reveal in Finder" option back, but they probably don't want us mucking about inside the Photos library structure.
