You don't export pictures to iPhone.
You sync photos to iPhone using iTunes.

You cannot export directly from Lr to another program.
You have to export to your hard drive and then open them in Premiere.

  • How to Export from table view to Excel (not BI query)?

There is a 'How to' document explaining how to export from an iView using a BI query:

This 'How-To' document is using an example of a BEx query. I am not using a BEx query, therefore I do not have an "Info port". How can I download to Excel from a table view that is not an iView of a BI query? (It is just a internal table coming from a BAPI).

  • Cannot find how to export from Pages to ePub

I have Pages '09, and looked on Apple's tutorials for how to export as an ePub file... It says just click share, export, ePub, but I do not have an ePub option. My only options are PDF, Word, RTF, and Plain Text. Am I missing something very obvious?

It's interesting that 'they' have decided to NOT let folks on 10.4 produce an ePub (from Pages). I understand that I cannot 'do' the whole ePub consumer side on this machine but I was hoping to get a bit of a headstart while on the road. (The mini at home base is running 10.6 and is my ePub production environment. That version of iWork9 does have the later Pages, which is why I was surprised when I could not find the same UI on my 'travel' machine.)
As to why I don't upgrade the G4? I need one machine that can run Classic. So it will live at 10.4.11 for the rest of its life.
I have my fingers crossed that today's announcement will include a suitable Macbook Air update ... one that is not too wide and/or too high. (The 13" 'books have been too large a footprint to replace my trusty 12" so I've been holding out...)

  • How to export from Outlook 2011 to Outlook 2013?

As an Outlook user of old when I bought my Mac I was keen to try out Outlook 2011 for Mac which managed to import my Windows PSTs without any issues.
However, now I have a Windows 8 machine running Outlook 2013 I want to go the other way and I don't see any easy way of doing so.
I'm hoping that someone can tell me how I export all of my mail from Outlook 2011 to Outlook 2013
without having to buy a 3rd party tool given the investment I've already made in the Microsoft platform.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi,
As in my estimation, it’s not viable to export Outlook 2011 to Outlook 2013 Windows 8 without having any third party tool, somehow without any payment it is possible, by using any free trial version for limited file conversion you can try any reliable third
party tool but for multiple or unlimited Mac OLM files conversion you have to make use of a third party tool. In the midst of various third party tools it’s too complicated to find out that, which tool is reliable for making this conversion.
Or else can try manual procedure for this conversion, but its lengthy and no surety. Outlook Mac Exporter software is one of the reliable tool for exporting Mac Outlook 2011 items to PST file format. You also can try this tool and I am sure it will provide
you desiring Outcome by exporting OLM files to PST file format.

  • How to export from iPhoto 6 to SD card?

Hi: I've purchased a digital picture frame. It takes an SD card. My question is how to export photos from the folder I've placed them in onto the SD card. The digital frame doesn't have a USB cable connection. Should I take this one back and get one with a USB cable to transfer that way? Thx

Walt: If I'm correct in understanding that the question is how to copy pictures onto the card when the frame can't be connected to the Mac, the solution is a $10 USB card reader. Remove the card from the frame, insert it in the reader, connect it to the Mac, and copy the pix from that folder Terence has advised you to export them to. Then return the card to the frame.

  • How to Export from Numbers 09 to Address Book or print mailing labels?

I need to know how to export contact information that is part of a Numbers sheet to Address Book and to be able to print mailing labels. I do not have to print from Address Book but do need to produce address labels. I've tried a number of things from the help menus in Numbers 09, Address Book, Word and Excel for MAC 2011. I probably just don't have a grasp fo what I'm supposed to do. Thanks much!

    nushuz,
I can sympathize if you're having trouble following the directions. Address Book will reject what looks like a perfectly good CSV file if it doesn't like the data it finds inside.
Here's what I have found to be the best way to create a CSV from Numbers for Address Book import...
Drag an Address Book contact to a Blank Sheet in Numbers. That's a Sheet in which you have deleted the default table.
This will give you a properly formatted table for conversion to CSV, and you just have to add all your contact data to the table you just created. Before you begin though, it's a good idea to Unhide all Hidden Columns, and there are probably many. Hover over any Column Label and click the menu triangle, selecting "Unhide All Columns", or words to that effect.
After you have all your data situated in the table, Share > Export > CSV and then Import to Address Book.

  • How to Export from iPhoto in time-taken order.

In the archived discussion "http://discussions.apple.com/message/11510994#11510994" entitled "Exporting from iPhoto Library to hard disk for archiving", LarryHN said to "...use the export option to name files sequentially...".  If you're wondering what option that is, I believe it is File -> Export... -> File Export -> Use album name.  That causes your iPhoto Library to be output in the order you see them within iPhoto because iPhoto creates the files with sequentially numbered file names prefixed by the album name, such as "Library - 01.jpg", etc.  Thanks Larry

It's not marked as a question, it was my mistake... I responded to the How to... as a question and not as an instruction...

  • How to export from FCP to Flash .FLV ?

    Hello All;
Could someone explain how I export a Final Cut Studio project to .FLV ? I read many places that it can be done but I do not have any such option (That I can find) on the FCP File menu or File Export menu.
Currently, I'm exporting to Quicktime and then using the Flash Video Encoder that came bundled with Flash but I am not getting very good quality and I'm wasting a lot of time trying it over and over again.
    Thanks.
    Tim

Then theoretically access to this FLV export option should be visible in other areas where you would perform a QuickTime Export.
In FCP, for example, you could go to the menu: File > Export > Using QuickTime Conversion:
Once clicked, an additional panel is going to appear. At the bottom of said panel will be a toggle that says "Format". By clicking this button you will reveal the other options available to you. With the Flash component installed you should have access to an option: "Flash Video (FLV)":
Once you've selected this you can then click the "Options" button and this will open a final panel where you can adjust all the parameters of the exported movie. Should look like this:
That is one way to do it.
Another way to do all this would be to build a Compressor preset. All the above export options, if available in FCP, are going to be available to Compressor as well. You could set up a preset and save it in Compressor, or even save it out as a droplet that you can drop exported movies onto. Simply dropping onto a droplet triggers the FLV encode.
One final "workaround" would be to export to H.264 and then change the resulting movies extension from .mov to .flv. This will cause it to open in Flash, usually. Flash Player 9 Update 3, released on December 3, 2007 allowed for the playback of H.264 with Flash. So as long as the end-user has this version of Flash, or newer, on their end—then playback should not be an issue.
    Hope that helps.

  • How to upgrade from Win 8.1 w/ Bing to Win 8.1 Professional

    Hello,
I just purchased an HP 400-413 Desktop PC from Best Buy and it came with Win 8.1 w/ Bing. I would like to upgrade to Windows 8.1 Professional. Can i simply purchase an upgrade license to unlock the professional features like Joining a Domain and RDP, or
do I have to re-install windows from scratch with Windows 8.1 Professional? If it is possible to just purchase an upgrade license, how do I do this and how much does it cost? Thanks
    Ryan

    Hello Ryan,
Do you want to upgrade Windows 8.1 to Windows 8.1 pro?
We don’t need to reinstall the Windows 8.1 pro, we can add the Windows 8.1 pro pack.
For more information about upgrading to Windows 8.1 pro, please take a look at the following article.

  • How To Export from Mac address book to CSV file

In Mac's address book: How do you export a highlighted group of *contacts to a cvs file* (so that I can import in groups by my categories into Google contacts- that way it is easier to sort/designate the contacts one I get the contacts there into Google).
I can sync them all- but then I'd have to put them into their categories one at a time, there are too many...
    thx missy
(I'm used to ms office and pc's)

Okay, *I got this issue worked out;here's how.* (Unfortunately the mac app AB2CSV doesn't open up to the screens it's supposed to in order to choose and convert or save contacts to a csv file and did crash my address book- which was very scary to see my 1533 contacts vanish!! )
Luckily somehow I had made an archive file of them all and got them back into my mac Calendar unscathed -so I lucked out...
Today at my local Apple Store in Nashville *I was shown a better way-and I'm glad to share this with you*:(They also set up my mobile me and my itouch to sync my contacts and emails too-plus got my contacts synced up to my GoogleApps acnt- so now I am in the clouds, backed up, and liberated-in spite of myself!!)
*iWorks Numbers* works similar to msExcel, so you *open up Numbers* ;get on to a *new blank page*;also *open Address Book* and highlight the contacts from your address book and *drag them right on to your Numbers page*; like magic it looks like an excel spread sheet (you can choose the columns/headers you want to use ie name, phone #,street, city, email, etc even the notes); then you go up to *Share in the menu*; *choose csv file*; and *save it*...Thank you Apple store Green Hills!! you saved me today!!

  • Ideas on how to export from Oracle (11g) for import into a MSSQL server?

    Hi folks,
Crazy question yes...but I have some devs that are needing to export some schemas/tables from Oracle to somehow import into MSSQL.
Are there any utilities our there, hopefully from Oracle that would allow for this? So far, all I can think of are to generate the DDL from the Oracle instance, and then do some scripts to output the data in a cvs type format....
    Anything better than this?
Any links or suggestions greatly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance,
    cayenne

Senior Oracle DBAThank you for the prompt reply. I'm looking into this and am finding some Oracle documentation, but just off the top of my head, this approach seems to assume the 2 database servers can see or talk to each other.
What if the oracle box is on one network...that cannot connect to the network that the MSSQL box is on. For example..running off some test data from one company to another company with networks that do not cross?Assuming some acceptable export/import utility, how do you plan on getting the file from the source to the target if the two servers are on networks that cannot talk to each other?Well, I'm still trying to gather facts, this is just a question coming in from some developers.
From what it may be, is that the can scp from site to site, but no direct connectivity between the database servers on the sites...isolated, maybe a DMZ...I dunno everything yet.Well, you either have connectivity between the two machines or you don't. Binary decision tree.
    IF  net_connectivity_exists
you can use oracle sqlnet enabled capabilities
         OR
you can transfer an export file via ftp, sftp, scp, etc.
    ELSE
you have to transfer an export file via sneakernet
    END-IF

  • How to export from iMovie HD without losing quality?

I created a movie in iMovie HD made from clips from my camera which records great quality HD video, and now I want to export it and save as a movie file so that I can import it into iMovie '09 as part of a larger project. However, every time I try to export it, the resulting file has noticeably worse quality than when I view it in iMovie HD. I have tried the "full quality" option which exports as a .mov file, but the quality is much worse. I have also tried "Expert settings" choosing DV, AVI and MPEG-4 and have changed the settings to the best options I could find, but still the quality is worsened every time. How can I export my video without losing quality??

Do you mean import what I have in iMovie 09 into iMovie HD/06 instead? I suppose I could but I wanted to add some of iMovie 09's titles and adjustment effects to my iMovie HD/06 project, so it could get quite complicated trying to piece it all together. I may have to do that as a last resort, but does anyone know any way I can get around this?
I would think there must be some way to save my iMovie 06 file as something other than an iMovie file without losing quality... but things aren't always that easy are they?
