How to export in smaller widescreen format than p720?

How can I set presets in PE7 such, that the exported video has the same hight/widh as the original?
I am shooting with KodakZi8 WVGA modus, which is 16:9 but smaller than 720p. In PE7 I only found the option to set to "widescreen" in 720p. In manual presets the height/width fields are disabled. If I export with MPEG widescreen presets, the videos are blown up to 720p and get blurry.
Appreciate hints to FAQs and former threats, too (didn't found any, though)
Niko

Video from a still cameras will likely need to be converted to a more traditional video codec before it can be successfully edited in Premiere Elements, per my books and the FAQs to the right of this forum.

AVI files are likely MJPEG-AVIs, and they can be converted with Windows MovieMaker.
MOV files can be converted using Super or, better, Quicktime Pro.
Once your files have been converted to DV-AVIs, you can edit them in a project using the standard DV 16:9 project settings.

  • What is the best setting for export movie in widescreen format?

Please tell me what is the best setting for exporting movie in Widescreen format?

Like in After effect we use "NTSC D1 Widescreen Square Pixel".,
Carefully examine the codec and pixel dimensions of that output file. That's certainly easy for an experienced VFX person like yourself.
Then carefully look over the presets in FCP to find the same attibutes. You can also use the online help system for FCP and search for "D1"
However, your question remains unanswerable because we don't know how you're getting to the monitor. What are you playing back you AE sequences on that displays them on your LCD? You're assuming we know what you're doing and, I assure you, we do not.

  • How to export report IN CSV format through JAVA.

how to export report in csv format.when try to export in csv format.its exporting into csv but report not containing column heading , report heading and it showing all the data in a single line.we have integrated the reports with java.

Use a Java API which can create PDF files based on some collection of plain vanilla Java objects (List, String, Number, etc).
Google can find them all. Just feed it with something like "Java PDF API" or so. A commonly used one is iText.
That said, when talking about this in JSP context, ensure that you do NOT write raw Java code in JSP files using scriptlets. Raw Java code belongs in Java classes. In such case you need a Servlet. In JSP just use taglibs and EL to interact with backend Java code and data. Scriptlets are discouraged since over a decade.

The XXL export is not supported by Sapgui for HTML(Webgui) via Office Integration. See note: 512068    Office integration and SAP GUI for HTML

  • How to export report to xls format ?

    hi guys,
    i am running apex 3.2.1.00.
I came across this in the documenation
You can download an interactive report back by selecting Download from the Actions menu. Available download formats depend upon your installation and report definition but may include comma-delimited file (CSV) format, Microsoft Excel (XLS) format, Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF), and Microsoft Word Rich Text Format (RTF).
I am able to download only in csv and pdf form. So when do i enable during installation for XLS format ?
    Rgds,

    hi jarola,
sorry to post a different question here, but i would really seek you attention to this question as i have been finding the solutions for days...
from this thread >> Re: multiple reports in a single report region ?
is it possible to export several reports in a page as a whole ?
    e.g
on a page, ii have 5 regions, each region has 1 report.
can i do a export on 1 csv or pdf which contain all the 5 reports together as one ?
or is it possible for me to squeeze 5 report together in 1 region ? so i do a export for the 5 report as a whole at one time ?
    thank you so much!

  • How to export at 72 DPI, rather than 71.98 DPI

    Hi all,
    CS5, OS X 10.6.4
Australia (system set to metric measurements)
Images being exported from FW here have a 71.98 DPI resolution despite Document Image Size having Resolution set to 72DPI exactly.
    Any tips, workarounds?

I like Jim's answer on this—i.e., a pixel is a pixel. If an application is attempting to render the image based on ppi (or dpi) information, then it's really performing a sort of previewing, or sizing simulation. And I'd look to see if that feature can be turned off.
Mac's Preview application has long offered this option, under various names, and it can be turned on or off within Preferences. Here's how that preference appears in OS 10.6. It's the bottom option, "Size on screen equals size on printout", that accounts for pixel density in its image rendering. For example, an image set to 72 ppi will suddenly increase in size (on a typical screen) when this option is chosen.
Speaking of Preview, it includes an option to adjust Resolution under the Tools > Adjust Size command. (I believe you'd want to deselect "Resample Image" before making any adjustments in this dialog.) If Fireworks is letting you down, perhaps this option could help you out in a pinch.
It might be helpful here to know what application is providing you with the specific dpi information and/or what application is "receiving" these graphics. If the saved graphic is reopened in Fireworks, does Fireworks still indicate 72dpi? Is it simply rounding up? Does dpi fluctuate slightly between graphics of different pixel dimensions?
Finally, if the metric system is somehow an issue here, have you tried using metric sizing instead? (Following is the Modify > Canvas > Image Size... dialog within Fireworks 8, with 72ppi being converted to 28.346 pixels/cm.)

  • How to export playlist in mp3 format onto usb using MAC

I have seen suggestions but using PC itunes and there must be small differences since it does work for me. Two main problems 1) returning back to mp3.  2) exporting  playlist to usb. Thanks for any help!

There is no way to do what you want in iTunes automatically. However, if the tracks are DRM-free you can change the import settings in iTunes, transcode the tracks (FYI, there may be a noticible loss in audio quality), then copy the tracks to a USB flashdrive.

  • How to export straight to AIFF format ?

    Hi there,
The main reason I use garageband is actually I need it to complement my use in Final Cut. But final Cut only accepts AIFF format.
I find that garangeband when doing a "EXPORT TO DISC" only has to option AAC or MP3. Thus, I find myself having to do extra step of using QuickTime Player to convert the AAC file to AIFF format.
Any method to export straight it as AIFF format ?
    Thanks

  • How to export movie in same format/resolution/etc as original footage?

I recorded a bunch of clips in beautiful HD on my iPhone 4 today. I then edited them together in iMovie HD. To my surprise, when I exported the movie, the video was only 640x480.
I have a simple question. How do I export a movie with the same resolution as the video that went into it?

What kind of project did you create in iMovie?
What kind of export settings did you use?

  • How to export HD to iPod format from FCP?

I have a 1080i timeline and am trying export using the iPod export..but instead of scaling it down to 320x180 (16:9) it scales it to 320x240 (4:3) filling the whole screen. Is there a setting or something I am missing?
Is anyone exporting from FCP in HDV and exporting to iPod? Love to hear some ideas or sites for more info about this. Thanks
    Frank

Frank, when I began creating video podcasts Compressor wasn't able to create iPod-compatible H.264 videos (go figure?) so I looked elsewhere.
I came across ffmpegX and just love that program!
Now, I don't typically use it on HDV footage as my current podcast is all DVCAM, but I just gave it a shot with some HDV I shot a couple of months ago.
Worked like a charm. 2-pass VBR took 5 minutes for a 1 minute test clip. 320x180 16:9 apsect ratio. You can either export your timeline as a self-contained QT movie, or as a Ref. movie to save some space. Plus, ffmpregX can batch a bunch of files at once. I find that 500kbps for the video and 96kbps for the audio works pretty well and keeps the quality:file size ratio in good order. Play around with the settings and then create a preset.
    Good luck!

I know how to create a widescreen slideshow but I'm not sure how to export it as widescreen for the web. Can anyone help me with the settings so that it doesn't look stretched?
    Thanks in advance!

I figured it out. You need to "share" the slideshow to iDVD in order to export it in a widescreen format.

    SoCal thanks for the attention,
sorry for having wrote the question directly in the subject, but first i wrote it by text edit then copied it, but in the wrong place too.....
coming to my question, timeline settings are:
as it is a commercial promo that must be projected in a multiplex cinema, the 2K format is needed.
I've heard about transcoding services, and they are very expensive.
so i'm looking if there is a way to do everything by fcp.
the project will be delivered as SD DVD for archive pourposes and as a single file for the projection or eventually transconding.
p.s.: sorry for my english, i'm from italy: had my last english lesson 35 years ago!
