How to export my purchased iTunes?

Hi,
I have a Macbook and a G5. I have purchased some iTunes from my Macbook, how can I export my purchased iTunes to my G5?
Thanks

On one of your computers, go to your airport signal at the top by the clock. Click on it. On the drop down menu, select "create network"
On your other computer, go to the airport signal and join your newly created network. (It should be the name of your computer by default)
Now on your G5, in Finder:
In the menu at the top select Go>on the drop down menu select connect to server: This can be done with a shortcut command (apple)+k
In the ensuing window, you'll want to type the server name of the MacBook
To find out what that name is, go back to the MacBook and you can go to System Preferences>Sharing. At the top it'll tell you your computer name. There will be a dialogue box beneath that stating "Others computers on your local subnet can access your computer at ..."
Go back to your G5 and type that name in as the server address.
Select connect. A window will appear asking if you want to connect as a guest or registered user.
Select registered user.
You will now type in the your user name and password that you have set up for your MacBook.
It will now ask you which volumes you wish to mount. Select the hard drive. You now have access to your other computer's hard drive on your new computer.
Navigate to the music folder on the mounted hard drive then drag and drop into iTunes.
Authorization is straight forward. It'll tell you you're not. Ask you if you want to be. You say yes, type in your authentication info. (user name, password) and you're done.

  • HT1660 How do I identify Itunes purchases and how do I transfer purchased iTunes to my ITune Library???

How do I transfer purchased ITunes to my Library????  RSVP.  thank you...

I'm not sure what you mean exactly.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only media purchased from iTunes Store
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not available in all countries; apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this). Movies currently available in the USA only. Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later.  Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list, or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.  Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.

  • How can I transfer purchased itunes from my computer to my iPod without losing/erasing the current songs on my iPod?

How can I transfer purchased iTunes from my computer to my iPod without losing all the songs I currently have on my iPod?  I've already burned the purchased songs onto DVDs, but they still aren't recognized as authorized songs that I can copy onto my iPod.  One other note:  The songs I purchased were done so with iTune versions much earlier than 10.0, does that matter?  I couldn't tell you what version though.

Not sure what you are saying.
What is stopping you from adding the songs?
Are you getting an error message?
    What does it say?

    Karri,
If you have .m4a (iTunes Plus songs), you can convert them by using these instructions:  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1550
If you have .m4p (DRM-encumbered iTunes songs purchased prior to mid-2009) you must first upgrade them to iTunes Plus by following these instructions:  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1711

  • How to export MP3 from iTunes to sD card

My car radio has an sD slot and can play MP3 files. How do I export from iTunes to an sD card in MP3 format?
    Thanks,
    John

Insert the card into a card reader and connect it to your Mac. Open iTunes and when the card is mounted on the desk top highlight the songs you want and drag them from the iTunes to the card icon.
If the songs in iTunes aren't in MP3 Format you'll need to convert them before dragging them to your card. You can use iTunes to convert any copy protection free songs in your library another format. When you convert a song in iTunes it will be converted to the format that you have set to import your CDs in. Converting creates a second copy of the song in the format you have chosen which gives you the opportunity to either keep or delete the original. If you are using iTunes 8 go to Edit>Preferences>General and click on Import Settings,, Change your Import format to MP3 Encoder for example and choose the Setting or "bit rate" you want. Go back to your library and highlight the songs you want to convert and go to the Advanced menu at the top of your iTunes window and choose "Create MP3 version": iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format
One exception to this are standard copy protected songs (if you haven't upgraded to iTunes Plus versions) purchased from the iTunes Music Store which can't be directly converted due to the DRM (Digital Rights Management) copy protection. However you can burn these to an Audio CD which will work like any regular CD.

  • TS1591 I come from Kenya which does not have an apple store, how else can I purchase iTunes or movies? I am in London visiting, is it possible to purchase a gift card and use it to buy music or movies. My billing address is in Kenya...need urgent assistan

How can I make use of I tunes if my country doesn't have apple store?

If you're just visiting the UK, then you probably cannot open an iTunes Store account there, even if you purchase an iTunes prepaid card, since opening an account requires a valid mailing address there. If you have such an address, you could open an account, but you could not use that account once you return to Kenya since the terms of the iTunes Stores all (at the demand of the content owners) prohibit use from outside of the relevant country, so you'd have to use up the credit from the card before you leave the UK.
Until such time as Apple is able to obtain the rights to sell music and movies in Kenya, you'll need to look to other sources for such content, at least on an ongoing basis.
    Regards.

    On your PC:
    1) Back up the original downloaded files (the files ending in .m4p). An easy way for this is to use iTunes's "Back Up to Disc" function to back up your iTunes Music Store purchases onto a CD-R/DVD-R.
    2) Deauthorize your computer (Store > Deauthorize Computer...)
    On your Mac:
    1) Insert the disc with your backed up purchased files. Choose "File > Import", and select the tracks to add to your Mac's iTunes library.
    2) Authorize your new Mac to play these purchases (again) (Store > Authorize Computer...)
You should be good to go at this point when syncing your iPod.
    Hope this helps,
    Steve

  • 2 computers, 5 family members with their own iTunes accounts. How do we share purchased iTunes and downloaded CDs with homeshare? (I can't get my old iPod music to all go onto my iPad)

    I have 2 computers - Windows Based
My husband, myself and the kids all have our own "accounts" on the home computer. This was done to limit certain access when the kids were younger.
The laptop is pretty much mine. I use both computers for my iTunes music.
Everyone has their own iTunes account for their music and games. I have been able to get music purchased by my other family members on my iPod in the past if I logged in the home computer under their IDs and attached my iPod. Or, if a family member downloaded a CD, I could get that music thes same way without having to download the CD again under my own login ID. However, I now have an iPad, and I can't transfer music from the iPod to the iPad - specifically that which was downloaded from CDs - not iTunes. And I couldn't get it to go from my iPod to my laptop, although both are authorized computers in the Home Sharing.
It doesn't seem like the Home Sharing works with the different computer login IDs. The iTunes is universally available regardless of who is logged in, but the libraries vary based on who's user name you are under. I have strugged with importing from one User ID to another, which led me to simply log in under a different family member to get the desired music. There has got to be an easier answer and I'm just not figuring it out.
I've read the support answers, I've read many of the other responses here as well to those with similiar questions, but I am still struggling.
    Any suggestions?

If you are completely confident that you didn't hide it, then you purchased those with different apple id. If you completely confident that you purchases with same apple id then you have hidden it. One of the other or you are speaking about a miracle. While miracles are possible they are not very likely. • How do I recapture purchased itunes media after a computer reset?

I had computer problems with my PC and had to have everything reset.  It seems that in doing so, my itunes media folders were emptied.  Now, all of my purchased media is not in my itunes library and not on my computer.  My account history does show that I purchased the various media products.  Please help!

Your music will ONLY be where you put it.
It will not magically appear anywhere.
You buy one and only one download.  It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.  Use this to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy (not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

The larger the library and the more playlists you have the longer it takes to process each change in the database.
