How to export pdf to website?

I wanna export a pdf to a job application. How?

It isn't something you download. Sign on in Adobe Reader and the Export button just works.

  • How to export pdf from numbers with page breaks

    I am trying to export a pdf from numbers that contains page breaks.  When i print the page breaks are created for printing automatically and i like scrolling with no page breaks while working on spreadsheet.  But, if export pdf the file becomes one long scrolling page.  Which is good on screen but when email recipient tries to print, it prints to a single page and type face is impossibly tiny to read.  I would like to export a view in which page breaks are included but can not seam to find the process (i have recently switched  from excel to numbers).

    One thing you might try (if you haven't already) is to pretend you are printing your numbers document, but after you press the "Print..." button (perhaps after doing the "Print setup" thing) do "Save as PDF" instead of just printing it.  Presumably, this gives you the PDF that is used to do the print job.

  • How to export PDF without recompressing all images (pass-through)

    I have a simple two page document, each page has a background image linked to a perfectly sized jpg file from photoshop.  Each jpg has been painstakingly optimized in photoshop.  When I export to PDF, there is no passthrough option.  I read in forums that setting compression to "maximum" will essentially pass-through as long as no downsampling is done.  However, this is not the case.
    Both jpegs are around 250KB, so I'm aiming for a pdf around 500-600KB.  However, when I set "do not downsample" and compression to "none,"  I get an uncompressed file (70MB) essentially converting my jpegs to tiffs.  When I set the compression to "maximum" I get a file that is 1.2MB.  When I set the compression to "medium" I get a pdf file that is 400KB.  So, this tells me the export is clearly recompressing the file no matter what setting I choose.  How do I set it to not touch the images and pass-through the files?  I want photoshop to do all the compression work, not indesign.
    Is there anyway to achieve this?

    You can see what happens if you compare an uncompressed PSD with an overly compressed jpeg placed in ID.
    The two side by side in Photoshop where you can clearly see the artifacts in the jpeg:
    Placed in ID the jpeg's overly compressed pixels are still visible—these are the pixels that get exported
    If I export to PDF with minimum quality you can see the compression artifacts in the PSD and newly added artifacts in the jpeg:

  • How to export pdf as xml with scripting?

    I would like to convert many PDF files to XML format, using Acrobat's File -> Export -> XML 1.0 feature.  It looks like the scripting API is what I need, but I'm having trouble pulling all the pieces together.
    It looks like the Export feature is a plug-in and therefore does not have an explicit method in PDDoc or AVDoc or App.  I guess I need to call the plug-in through some generic mechanism.
    I probably need to
    Understand how to call a plug-in and
    Find the api for the Export plugin.
    Can someone point me to examples or other docs?  I'm not having any success with Google or forum searches.
    I'm new to Acrobat scripting, but not to programming in general.
    Thanks in advance for any help.

    PNG doesn't support layers, so no you can't do it.

  • How to export PDF to HTML with JPEG image format (not PNG)?

    Hello,
    When I export a ".pdf" file to ".html", using Acrobat 11 Pro, the program creates a subdirectory with ".png" image files.
    I need these images to be in the ".jpg" format, not ".png".
    Do any of you know how to change this setting? I am assuming that it is not a permanent default...
    Thank you,
    brivera0

    Alas, I checked on my Acrobat XI before posting. That setting was removed.

    I received PDF file in email that I'm opening on my iPad. Opened into Safari browser. Now how do I export or import into my documents folder in installed adobe reader on my iPad?

    In Apple Mail on iPad/iPhone, long press (press & hold) a PDF document icon shown the body of an email message.
    If your PDF document is opened in non-Adobe Reader viewer, tap the PDF document to display the toolbar and tap the Share icon.
    and select "Open in Adobe Reader".

  • How to export pdf with transparent background (or NO white background)?

    or, how do i get rid of the white background?
    I want to add a watermark behind the pages document AFTER pdf-creation (to be more exact: a light picture behind the text in the center of the page)

    Thanks everyone
    the trick is the following: it's a daily rewritten menu card, that's published in 2 directions:
    1. we print it on preprinted cardbords (therefore we need no background in the pages document) (30 times every day)
    2. we load it on the webserver, to make it available on the website and to send it out via newsletter. (technically i have a automator printplugin created which does the job of inserting the same backgroundimage as on the preprinted cards and then uploading it to the server)
    Well, I guess it does not look to shabby
    any ideas?

  • How to export pdf using jsp

    hai friends
    i know to export excel using jsp
    but tried the same process to pdf, it s not work..
    please give some solution......
    thanks
    rex

    It's working absolutely fine for me. I suspect the problem is one of these two:
    1. You're giving the incorrect path of the file. Check the size of the downloaded file, it's probably 0 bytes.
    2. Check the file that has been created on the server first; is that fine? That could also be the origin of the problem.
    This is th code I've used. I copied an existing PDF to my webapps root folder ( $CATALINA_HOME/webapps/myApp/test.pdf ) and hardcoded the values of filename to check it and it works for me.
    BufferedOutputStream out = new BufferedOutputStream( resp.getOutputStream());
    try
        filename = "test.pdf";
        resp.setContentType("application/pdf");//vnd.ms-excel" );
       resp.setHeader("Content-disposition","attachment; filename=\"" + filename + "\"" );
        BufferedInputStream bufferedInputStream = new BufferedInputStream(new FileInputStream(getServletContext().getRealPath("/") + filename));
        int i;
        while ((i=bufferedInputStream.read()) != -1)
         out.write(i);
        bufferedInputStream.close();
      out.flush();
       out.close();
    catch ( Exception e )
         System.out.println(e);
    }

  • How to export PDF without embedded fonts?

    Hi,
    I'm using CrystalReports with VS2008. I export a report in this way:
    rpt.ExportToDisk(ExportFormatType.PortableDocFormat, filename);
    This works fine except it includes the used fonts. A older version of our export tool used Delphi and the vcl component which did not include the fonts. Including the fonts increase the pdf filesize in my case from 21kb to 70kb. Sounds less but the export creates around 1500 pdf on one day.
    Is there a way to export to pdf without embedding the fonts?
    Thanks
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,
    No, and it's not all just embedded fonts. After CR 8.5 we converted everything to be UNICODE compliant. So as of CR 9 the size of the files, Printing as well as exporting, increased due to the unicode feature. All characters and bits of the files are now double byte in length with the resulting output being typically 4 or 5 times greater in size ( just a guess ).
    Only option would be to export as usual through CR and then use PDF API's to remove the fonts from the output file and resave the PDF.
    Thank you
    Don

    I cannot help you with anychart but you might want to check J4L FO Designer . It can add charts to PDF reports and also send them as email:

  • How to export a mobile website?

    hello, I have made a mobile website for the first time using dreamweaver cs6, using Jquery mobile, when I test it on "live" it works perfectly even if I check it on small screen sizes like smart phone, however I saved it as an html file, uploaded it on my server, and from my phone the text looks super small, it seems like it's maybe not reading it as mobile website? is it the right way of exporting it? or for mobile website should I export it in another format? (not html?) thank you

    Thank you Jon, it's only a html page, am I supposed to save a .js or .css too? this is the page I uploaded:

    seems to work fine on the computer but then on my phone (nokia lumia 800) the text is super small, thanks

  • How to export PDF metadata

    Hi,
    Is there a simple way to extract the PDF metadata ("Title", "Subject", "Author", "Keywords", etc.) from several PDF (no more than 3000 in my case) into a file that could be opened in Excel or Calc ?
    I'm using Acrobat XI Pro but I can also use another 3rd party program provided it is free ;-).
    My goal is to check the homogeneity of the metadata of a collection of electronic thesis.
    Next step could involve batch correction of metadata. I'd be interested to know if Acrobat Pro can handle that too.
    Thank you for your help !
    JHM

    Accessing the doc.info object is simple enough in a batch script (an Action in Acrobat X and later). The tricky part is in storing the results, as Acrobat doesn't like you writing to generic files on disc.
    I've attached a JS file that you run inside an Action. It creates a new blank document, which has an attachment containing the data as a tab-delimited list. Note that if you run the Action repeatedly without closing the blank document, it'll keep adding to the list.
    To use it, create a new Action, set the source files to "Ask when Action is Started" and "Don't Save Changes", add a JavaScript step from the More Tools panel, and paste in the contents of the JS file.
    You don't say what version of Acrobat you're using, so I can't post a pre-made SEQU file.
