How to export  photos from one iPad to another

Sending the photos over WiFi might be the easiest way for you to accomplish this. The Wireless Transfer App should work. You will both have to download the app on your own devices. Read about it here.

Can you connect the phone to the computer as a disk drive using the usb cable supplied with the phone? Copy the files from the first phone. Disconnect it properly. Connect the second phone in the same manner. This time copy the files from the computer to the phone in the same place where you found them on the other phone.

I can give you a few ways to so:
First (and my favorite way) is the one said above.  First, on the computer with the photos on it, you have to do is turn on file sharing (go to system preferences, sharing, file sharing) and have both computers on the same network.  Second, have the computers you want the photos on, and launch finder.  On the sidebar, there should be a "sharing" category, and below it should be the computer with the photos on it.  Click on it, and you will be prompted for the computer username and password.  It will then show all of the files on your computer.  Then, just find the files, copy them (command-C) and paste them to where you want them! (If this confuses you, I can upload a video step-by-step on how to do this).
My second way is to use air drop. To start, Both computers must be on the same network.  Then, on the computer with the photos on it select all of the photos you want to send to the other computer (you can select many photos by holding the command key and clicking on photos), right-click (control-click) on the selected photos, find the button share, and click air drop.  On the computer you want the photos on, go to air drop on the side bar.  You should see the name of the computer on the radar-looking screen.  Click your computer.  The photos should begin to download to the downloads folder. (This feature is only compatible with certain computers)

    Hi roseabe
Please give us more details. What kind of computer (model, speed) are you trying to transfer from and to?
Besides, you don't hold down cmd/apple+"T" on the target computer - just the "T" key.

How to transfer songs from one iPad to another iPad using iTunes?

You can't without a third party app. If you didn't purchase the Music with your Apple ID or if the music was imported from CD's on your friends iTunes library, syncing will not work ....nor will transferring purchases.
Look at this app .... TouchCopy

You can restore the new iPad using an iCloud or iTunes back up (assuming you have all of those apps backed up), or simply redownload them from the App store or sync via itunes.

  • How to move photos from one library to another?

    Hi,
I currently have 2 libraries and I want to move photos from one library into the other.
How do I have to proceed?
    Thx
    A

We're thinking of adding a library copy feature soon.  Hoping you can share some info here to help us understand how this might best work fo you.   Here's a few questions I have:
    - What do you use the 2 libraries for?
      - Why do you want to copy?
      - Do you have albums, favorites, and comments associated with the photos?  Do you want them copied?
Anything else that you are hoping to accomplish here?
    Thanks in advance,
    Peter

  • How to export photos from an ipad to a mac computer

I have an iPad Retina on which I took approximately 350 screen grabs for my work.
(The screen grabs were made on the iPad with the home and lock buttons pressed together, I use them for app reports).
These screen grabs didn't go into the Photos folder called "Albums" when I saved them, but instead they were saved into a folder called "Photos" (in which are three sorting options, called "Years", "Collections" and "Moments").
I now need to put all these photos into a folder on my iMac and then delete them to clear up a working session.
But if I click more than 5 of them, the "mail" option disappears, and the remaining options are "Message", "Flickr", "Copy" or "Print".
"Message" didn't work, it seems to be designed to send text messages, but I could still manage to write an email address in the "to" field, and it didn't get through.
"Flickr" didn't work at all (the "+" sign to add a new account let me to a white pop-up window, I added an account from the Settings page, sent the photos to Flickr but they never arrived on the Flickr account).
"Copy" didn't work, I thought I could afterwards paste them into an email, but no luck there, it just crashed the mail app.
...and "Print", that seems to be far away from what I'm trying to do.
Airdrop cannot work between the iMac (pre OS X10.10) and the iPad. Flickr doesn't work either, at all.
When I use third-party apps like Dropbox, Instamail or any other WiFi photos sharing/exporting app, the only photos these apps can access are the ones in the photos folder called "Albums", and not a single one of the photos from the "Photos" album.
Also, as sad as it may seem, and as I've said earlier, the third-party applications I installed such as Dropbox are not an option when I select the photos in the roll and then click on "Share", but "Flickr" is...? Both "share" buttons, the one on top and the one to the right of each date give the same very limited results.
iTunes cannot do it. This iMac doesn't have iPhoto.
I was thinking about using a software like iExplorer to manually go dig into the root folders, but surely there has to be another way?

You should be able to do it with Dropbox.

  • TS4403 How do I transfer photos from one ipad to another ipad with Icloud

I have photos on my Ipad and I have bought a new ipad. Now I want to transfer all those photos to my new one. How do I do it

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
If you took those photos with the iPad, the easiest way is to use Photo Stream. If you have it activated on the old iPad, just open Photos > Streaming (on your new iPad), press the Edit button, select the photos you want to transfer and transfer them to the new iPad).
If those photos were transferred from a Mac or PC, just connect the new iPad to that PC or Mac and sync it on iTunes, so it will get all the photos

  • How to export photos from one library to other?

I have two Aperture's libraries. The first one has my full albums, since 2001, and runs on my 2Tb external HD. The other one, has only the current year's photos, and is storaged on my Macbook Pro local disk.
So I want to export ou migrate all my 2011 photos from my local library to the first one. So I can start the new year (2012) with a new empty library on my mac.
How is the best way to do this?
    Thanks.

You should look into Aperture's "Duplicate Project Structure" command to see if it helps.  You might be able to set up your 2012 Library prior to "archiving" 2011.
Scroll down this User Manual page.
    Duplicating a Project Structure
If you routinely use the same project structure populated with the same types of albums and folders, you can duplicate the structure of an existing project and create a new, empty project with the same arrangement of albums and folders. If the project you’re duplicating has Smart Albums, the settings for those Smart Albums are duplicated as well.
Many users are better served by having one Library, and putting Masters on an external drive as their Library grows too big.  If you are interesting in this, ask.

  • How do I get photos from one iPad to another

I have brought a new ipad2 and can't seem to get my photos from my old iPad? I thought they would come through iCloud?

Make sure you have uploaded your photos to your computer, then sync them to the new pad.
If you are not using a computer, there is an app called photosync that will transfer them from device to device.  Buy it one, load it on both pads, and do the transfers.
The cloud only deals with your most recent photos via photo seam, and won't work for transferring a whole library.
If you do not have a computer, and have a lot of photos that you care about, you should investigate some other form of cloud storage, such as drop box, or the soon to be released google drive.   A pad is not a real safe long term storage solution. ( same comment for documents etc.)

  • How to copy pictures from one iPad to another iPad?

I want to copy pictures in my new iPad3 to my iPad1 without going through my apple computer.  Is there a way to do it?  I tried to use the usb connector to sync but it can only go from my iPad 3 to iPad1 but not the other way around.  (I did try to switch the "direction" of the usb connector.)
If I have to go through my apple computer, how should I proceed?  I have created another iTune library for the new iPad3.

Use Finder on your computer to locate your iPad when attached. Dig down through the folders (which will only contain photos and videos) to locate your photos. Select them and copy them to a new folder or folders on your computer and subsequently check that folder or folders in iTunes during a sync to the other iPad.
