How to export songs to play in itunes

i make beats and wanna export them to itunes but dunno how.
what route should i follow? i.e. what should i click?

When you bounce there is a box that if checked, your song is added to itunes. Plus if you highlight a track ant select "Get Info" from the pulldown menu, you can choose the application to open it, iTunes being one of the options.

If you have any iTMS purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. A paragraph on it has been added to this article: Transfer iTunes Store purchases using iPod
The transfer of non iTMS content such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there is a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows. If you prefer something more automated then there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. This is just a selection, you'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos and games as well. When selecting a song to play in iTunes, I get an error message indicating the song could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it. I have no idea where to look since the library hold all my files.

It would help to have more background about your iTunes collection such as if you keep it on an external drive, or if you have moved or renamed anything recently. iTunes is very sensitive to you renaming or moving files or folders involved with your media. iTunes only keeps a reference to where a media file is located and then goes to look for it when you try to play it. If you have changed things since it was added to itunes then it's like me sending you to look for a friend in my addressbook but that friend has moved.
The other possibility is your computer is starting to lose files. Again, the computer uses a reference database to tell it where on the drive to look for a file. If that database gets corrupt then it starts losing files. Use Dsk Utility's first aid to verify your hard drive.

Error -36 is an I/O error, which could indicate a damaged Catalog file, corrupted bitmap or (even worse) a dying HD.
I would recommend to run Disk Utility and perform a 'Verify disk'.
If lots of errors are found, try to save as much files as possible to another disk.
Then perform a 'Repair disk'. Repairing a catalog file or bitmap might cause loss of files, that's why I recommend to verify first and save the files, before repairing.

Hi, I hope someone can help me. Every song I play in Itunes gets deleted out of its album and gets put into a Various Artists album.
What can I do to stop this from happening?

That sounds like the tags have been updated by some other software, perhaps Windows Media Player, then iTunes comes along, reads the tag as you play the track and moves it around according to the new information. The damage is likely already done.

To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. Basically all you have access to would be anything offered in South Africa unless you move to a different country.
It's the media owners who get to tell Apple where and where they cannot sell their media. I'm sure Apple would be happy to take your money but if the media companies are not happy then they can say no to sales in SA.

What the h*** happened to Live Updating of smart playlists in iT 11? I have several smart lists that pull from larger lists based on how recently a song has played. Not happening now. The whole library only updates "last played" for about 1 in 20 songs. This is really screwing up my lists that I use as backgrounds for a lot of activities in my classroom at school.

FYI, I've found that Live Updating can SORT OF work. It seems if you only have two rules, live upating works (IE, I have one that is a Rating must be 3-5*'s and last played cannot be within the last 8 weeks). Once the song is played it disapears off the playlist. BUT, as soon as I try to add a third rule, it doesn't work anymore! This is unfortunate because two rules really limits the ability of the playlist...

How to recover song that are "lost", itunes can't find them even though I have downloaded and played them before

Does anyone know how to recover songs that itunes has "lost"?
I downloaded them, synced my ipod, songs were added and I was able to play them.
On a recent sync the songs are suddenly "not found" according to itunes. I can't locate them in the itunes folder, so I have no idea where itune put them. BTW-this is not the first time itunes stored songs in a random directory...... Since itune can't find them, they were deleted from my ipod

Look, I understand I still need a card attached to the account. The problem is, it won't accept my card because I only have 87 cents in my bank account right now.
If I had known there would be so much trouble with the iTunes card, I would have just put the cash in my bank account in the morning instead of buying an iTunes card (I didn't expect the banks to be open on Thanksgiving of course).
Apple will only accept cards that have a balance. The balance is so small in my account that it won't accept it as a valid card.
I'm going to have to contact Apple anyway to reset the security questions. That's obvious. Your answers were not exactly helpful. You didn't tell me anything I don't already know, but thanks for trying to be helpful.

Songs not playing in itunes

I recently upgraded to iTunes 7.5 and whenever I attempt to play music nothing will play. Music in my library, podcasts, shared libraries, and itunes store previews will not play. I have tried restarting my computer and reinstalling intunes, but nothing will work. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

So nothing was playing on itunes, songs just sat there idle at 0:00, videos played but with no audio. I couldn't even get my normal audio controls to go up or down, it just acted like it was locked. I went into system preferences - audio and all the audio was locked. Although i was getting my chime and trash sound. So i went into Audio MIDI Setup and it turns out my default output was set to unknown, so I changed it back to built in. So now my audio is unlocked, itunes videos play with audio, i can even play songs from my itunes music library IF i access them through finder, BUT THEY STILL WONT PLAY THROUGH ITUNES also itunes store previews won't play

I've ripped more than 100 CDs in different folder in my computer. After installing itunes, every songs is added to the library. But when I want to transpher some songs located in a specific folder, I can not find how? They only arrange by names, or album, or artist... They don't know if you got a collection of favourite songs in a folder, how can I find them, or I have to find each song manualy? Any one knows how to arragne songs by their location, pls help. In iTunes, you create a playlist, put the music you want in the playlist, drag the playlist to your iPod in iTunes.
Anytime you wan t, add or remove songs from this playlist and plug in the iPod to sync it up.
iTunes is a music manager.
You are simply using Windows Explorer/the desktop as a manager now.
iTunes is so much more versatile. You can sort, group, exclude by Album, Artist, date of song, Genre, and a bunch of other criteria.
Just as you don't care where a song is physically located on a CD, you don't need to be concerned (too much) with where it is on your HD. With iTunes, as long a syou know something about it (Artist or album), you can find it with one or two clicks.

i have recently purchased some songs from the wifi itunes store on my iPod touch, but i don't want them on my iPod and in my iTunes anymore. I already deleted them from my iTunes, but every time i sync it, the songs keep coming back to my iTunes instead of deleting it from my iPod.
My iTunes settings are set to not automatically download any purchases as well as the store settings on my iPod for automatic downloads are off.
If I sync my iPod with my iTunes library, I get the question whether I want to transfer the purchases to my library and if not, they'll be deleted from my iPod. As this is exactly what i want, I ticked "don't transfer purchases".
But these songs still keep coming back to my itunes library!
Can anyone please help how to delete these songs? Thanks a lot in advance!

I think you have to remove the same song manually from any device this is transferred to before the next sync.
I know this is annoying and makes things complicated. Apple should look into this and find a "simple" and "elegant" solution about this (and other similar syncing issues) cause if you have more than 2 devices is hard to manage them and Apple was supposed to make things "simple" and not complicated and harder to manage.

ITunes 10.6.1.7 - The Track Number of any song i play in iTunes is being erased! PLEASE HELP!

I'm experiencing a very weird bug in iTunes 10.6.7 (64-bit) - on Windows 7. What happens?
With some of the songs, when I use my Left Mouse Button to double-click the song (to play it!) in the music library (in iTunes of course), the song loses the meta-data of the total number of tracks.
The setup of my iTunes is as follows:
Each of my songs are part of different albums, so that means that every song has meta-data of the total number of tracks of the album its part of.
Every song in my music library has been converted by iTunes (so they all have the same specs).Here are those specs:
(Forgive me if I use different words for the technical terms, I'm working with an iTunes in my own native language so I don't know all the english equivalent words.)
Type: MPEG-audiofile
Bitspeed: 320 kbps
Samplefrequence: 44,100 kHz
Categorization: MPEG-1, Layer 3
Channels: Joint Stereo
ID3-tag: v2.3
The following spec is the only thing I can think of that is significantly different between the songs that could be the cause of the bug.
Here is the information on this specific spec of one of the songs which has this problem:
Coded with: iTunes 10.6.0.40
My question is: is there anyone who experiences the same problem with this version of iTunes? Were you able to fix it? Or any advice?

Issue solved - It turns out that the QuickTime version on my PC was 6.5 and I needed to update to version 7.6 or higher to allow videos to play in iTunes. I updated to QuickTime version 7.7 and then added the old podcast folder to iTunes while in podcasts. This found all video podcast content and then the auto reorg moved all folders to the new podcast directory. For the videos I manually moved earlier, I had to move (not copy) them back to the old directory or folder then add that old folder and they were now in the right directory and viewable in iTunes.

Songs will play in iTunes but not play on iPod!

This is very weird. I have 44 songs that are not working right.
A few months ago I moved my music files to one central location on my computer (aside from iTunes). I wanted to get rid of duplicates and songs I just didn't want and more importantly I wanted to make sure the names were all correct.
Oddly enough the songs in questions I did not have to change.
I synced my new iPod to my iTunes. I played a few songs and when it got to 1 of the 44 it just skipped over it. I thought this was weird so I went through artists and found the song that way, I selected it again and it wouldn't play.
I tired playing the song in iTunes - the song played.
I found it on my computer - the song played in Windows Media Player.
Before I did all of this, on my old iPod - the song played.
In fact all 44 of the songs used to play and everything was fine. (I use my old iPod for my car and my new one for jogging, but I don't want to sync my new one until I solve the problem I just don't want to risk losing the songs)
So I looked in the iTunes files - there is a file known as "Not Added" within the "Automatically Added" File. The songs in question were in that file. Which is weird because I never had this problem before...I didn't change anything about these songs.
I took one of the songs out of the "Not Added" file and I put it in the Automatically Added file and it seemed to add it. I tried syncing againbut the song would still not play.
I tried moving the song directly to the iTunes "Music" File. It made its own file with the artist and all - it hadn't been there before. So I tried syncing again but it still wouldn't play.
Yes - I have plenty of room on my iPod
Yes - I have tried restoring my iPod
No - There is not a little explanation point next to the song - The song is located and it plays in iTunes just fine.
I am at a loss. Someone please help me!

Select the track that is giving you a problem, then go to Advanced menu and select "Create AAC". Then try using that new AAC track on the ipod and see if it works.
I had some tracks that I had gotten onto my system from a CD. It ended up that my CD drive as on its last legs and had captured the tracks with some errors.iTunes was able to play through these errors, but my iPod was not. Having iTunes re-transcode them fixed the problem that kept them from playing on the iPod. Another solution would be to re-rip the tracks from your original CD. If you bought them on iTunes, re-download them.
The bottom line is that the tracks likely have some errors in them that iTunes can play through, but the iPod cannot.

SONG WONT PLAY ON ITUNES

on march 24th i believe or recently i purchased the new KIP MOORE CD. and it is amazing. and been listening to it non stop ever since. well just last night when i was listening to the cd on my ipod i realized the first song kept getting skipped. so when i got home i got on itunes and clicked it. the pop up came up saying you are not authorized to play this song. so i signed in. and it tells me that i my computer is already autherized. and skips to the next song. so i was reading and i read to deauthorized everything i did that. and still same thing. so what do i need to do now. is there some way to fix this. ... now i did download it last night to my laptop. and it plays but on my iPod and main computer the song wont play at all. wont even burn to a cd to listening to it.. please help me. i wouldnt mind if it was a song that sucked but it is an amazing song. thanks.

ap, have you moved the song files on your computer that have the exclamation point next to them? Try playing them in iTunes and see if a window doesn't come up asking you to locate the file. Also, there might be something wrong with the song file that is keeping iTunes from syncing it to your iPod. Do all these songs have something in common that you might recognize?
