  • How to export a video at a moderate certain format and size in premiere CC 2014: No Huge File Results!

I have the latest version of Adobe Premiere, CC 2014 but whenever I want to render and export a video that is typically 70 megabytes in size I can't seem to always see how big the file will end up being for all the formats and I don't want to end up with a video larger than 250 to 300 megabytes in size just for the extremely best or highest quality even though I want the video to be well polished and in better quality than I usually get thee, These videos are usually imported as mp4. What file version of mp4 or otherwise would give me an originally imported video of 70 megabytes an output of no more than or around 300 megabytes or even less without compromsing video quality? I don't want a huge file size as I am uploading it to my YouTube channel via their web interface on another person's machine and they don't have Premiere and only has a DSL connection. So what video output settings should I use for a good quality video that isn't smaller than the original but the same size or a bit higher and not extremely large like MOVs and sometimes mp4s usually are depending on what you do to it and it is outputted.?

    Export
    Format: H.264
Preset: YouTube (make sure this matches the dimensions of your sequence)
You could further adjust the Target Bitrate but the preset is already setup for a good quality file for upload.
You can also do further reading on Video Bitrates.

  • Photoshop CC - EXPORT - RENDER VIDEO issue, screenshots included

    Hi there,
I´ve created a 25seconds long video in Photoshop CC. When I tried to export it, after I hit Export-Render Video, no dialog box open, it only shows progress bar sayin: Initializing Video Export" and there it stops. My Photoshop and Pc are working fine, nothing is frozen. Im using Windows 8. How can I fix this issue?
Thank you for your help in advance.
    Zdenka

I sometimes get this problem then if I kill Photoshop and try again everything goes smoothly and it renders.  There is something wrong in Photoshop video rendering module - when it fails it seems to get in an endless goto loop or so I guess as it is only using one of the eight cores and hyperthreads available to it, when working properly it uses all eight.  Exactly the same file with exactly the same edits hang without even getting to the stage you illustrate, hang as you illustrate, open the render box and then hang rendering or renders the video perfectly.  Something needs investigating by Adobe.

  • How can I export a Video while keeping separate Audio Channels?

I'm trying to export some AVCHD footage and convert to ProRes.  However, I do not want to mix the left and right channels together so that they both end up playing the same audio in the ProRes file.  I have audio from one mic on Channel 1 and audio from another mic on Channel 2, and I would like to keep that once the video files is exported.  I'm new to Premiere Pro so instead of spending an hour trying to figure it out myself I was hoping someone could help me out.
    Thanks,
    Mike

Right on. Now, the technical explanation, so you know what's going on:
Your footage imported with dual mono tracks--whether it was recorded that way or mapped that way on import, only you can say. When you dropped it into a sequence (or on the New Item button), the source audio tracks were placed in mono sequence tracks, but the sequence has a stereo master track. When the audio from these tracks is routed from the sequence tracks to the master tracks, since it's mono and by default panned center, it outputs to both output channels equally. By panning the mono tracks hard left and hard right, respectively, you're essentially isolating each of those tracks to a particular output channel.
Had your audio been shot as stereo or if you had remapped the dual mono tracks (right-click the clip in the bin before using it in a sequence and go to Modify > Audio Channels) to function as the two channels of a stereo clip, you could have dropped the clip into a stereo sequence track, and the separation would have maintained (assuming the sequence was using a stereo master track). This is a viable solution, too, but may limit your editing a bit more since instead of two separate mono audio tracks, you're working with one stereo audio track.
Either way will work; experiment to decide which will work best for your workflow.

  • How to export a video with an alpha channel that can be switched off

    Hi!
I'm stuck with something that I think might have a simple solution:
I need my video to have an alpha channel while still keeping all the RGB information in place too. This is for Syntheyes, which can take the alpha channel for a video and use it as a garbage matte while tracking.
The problem is that if I draw a mask around my video and then export as a PNG (with alpha), the RGB information seems to be gone even when I choose to ignore the alpha channel. I know how to edit the alpha channel in Photoshop while still keeping the RGB elements untouched, but how should I do that in AE?
    Any help will be appreciated!

Okay I will answer my own question:
This worked as soon as I did a proper export as a PNG image sequence. I did my tests with only single frames by using the "save frame as file" -function, which did not work properly (the rbg information was gone).
So the simple solution to this question was:
Draw a mask on the video layer and export with alpha. The RGB will be there, even though the mask hides it in AE.

  • Need advice/guidance on how to export .FLV videos for my website.

    Can anyone help me?
I am trying to embbed a .swf/.flv video into my website,
using dreamweaver and flash cs4. But when i do so, and i load the
video, the .FLV playback componet wont load or the browser dosent
even try to load the data at all, it just plays the video. So users
cant mute, have volum control, pause, stop or anything. Can someone
please help me? i looked all over the net for 2 days and cant find
a single turtorial or anything. I know alot of website use .FLV but
how? and how do you export it?

You need three parts for the flv playback: the swf, the flv,
and the video player skin swf. If you create the flv from your
Flash movie by importing the original video, Flash should make all
of those parts for you. Upload each of these files to your server
and the file should play as expected.
Can you describe in more detail what you are doing that may
    be different?

  • How to export HD-project to .avi including HD-quality and timecodes

    Hi,
I have an iMovie HD 6 project that I have imported from my Sony HDR-HC3 HD video camera. The project is a HD-1080i-25 project. I want to export this project to an AVI keeping the HD quality (same quality as the DV-tape). What settings should I use to make this happen? I don’t want to export it as a QuickTime .mov file but as an .AVI file that I am able to play in a media player that supports HD. I also want to keep the 16:9 format and timecodes. One other purpose with this file is as a backup (if the DV-tape should be damaged) so it must be possible to import it into iMovie again if that should be necessary.
    Is all this possible?
    Thanks in advance.
    Jarle

Your best option is to export to .dv using the Full Quality DV preset. It will preserve all quality including the timecode.
On the other hand the Expert export settinngs of iMovie 5 and 6 are buggy because exporting via the expert settings as a DV stream or .avi deinterlaces video and loses the timestamp!!
Workarounds: Export .dv via the Full Quality preset (this is more convenient anyway). Exporting as .dv (or DV-encoded .avi) via QuickTime Player Pro also preserves interlacing and timecode.
    http://www.sjoki.uta.fi/~shmhav/iMovieHD_6_bugs.html#expertsettings
If you export via QuickTime Player Pro, then use the following settings:
    Export: Movie to DV Stream
    DV Format: DV
Video format: PAL (I am European)
Scan: Interlaced (notice that this option only sets the corresponding flag -- it does not do ANYTHING else to the video!)
Aspect Ratio: 16:9 (this options also sets the corresponding flag so other apps can properly treat the file)
Audio Format Rate: 48.000 kHz (I believe there is not much difference between locked vs unlocked audio -- unlocked seems to be the default)

  • How to export 120fps video from iPhone?

    Hello,
I've been on all day trying to find the answer to this question.... this is what I'd like to do:
I'm experimenting with slow motion in Final Cut Pro X. As I understand it, shooting at a higher frame rate will yield better results.
My camcorders only shoot at 50i or PF25.
I'm looking for a Camcorder that will shoot at 60fps or higher, but then it occurred to me that my iPhone 5s will shoot at 120fps in the slow mo setting.
So, I tried shooting something in this way and then emailed it to myself. My intention was to import the 120fps into Final Cut Pro X. As I understand it, FCPX will only handle up to 60fps(?).
Using the 'Optical Flow' in FCPX seems fairly straight forward, so.......
Do I really need to go out and buy another camcorder, or can I shoot at 120fps on the iPhone then import that into FCPX then use 'Optical Flow'?
    * I don't want to use the option of slowing the footage down on the iPhone though *
I believe I have to do something in Final Cut Pro to make the footage playback properly, and make it conform or something...
If anyone can help please do so. I can't find simple step by step instructions on how to do this.
    Thanks in advance!!!

Thank you so much for your reply fox_m.
You've made it clear to me that the iPhone 5s does indeed record at 120fps when using the slow mo function. I've taken your advice and imported the footage (rather than email it to myself) and after using a program called 'Mediainfo' I can see that it is indeed 120fps.
Great! So before I go out and buy a Camcorder that can shoot at 60fps, I can experiment with the iPhone 5s and FCPX.
Mathematically I think I'm with you on your explanation of 25% being 1 complete frame etc. (I think).
Would you be so kind as to help me out with a few more queries?
1: I've read that I should convert the footage to ProRes. So I used MPEG Steamclip to convert my footage. Now I don't know how necessary this is, but I noticed it turned a file that was around 30mb into a file that's 300mb. Do I have to convert files to ProRes?
When I import the 120fps footage I get this:
    I click 'OK'.
    2. Is that right?
    3. Do I have to 'Conform' the footage? I don't seem to have the option though? I have this:
But, I don't know what this is!?
Lastly, it's this type of look I'm after...
    http://vimeo.com/28234381
So, rather than just slowing down by 25%, I'd like to slow down a bit more like in this guys video.
I'm messing around but all the Conform, ProRes things have me worried I'm not doing it right.
How would you do it fox_m??
Many thanks for any help I really appreciate it.

  • How to export the customer while creating a new site

    Hi,
I understand it is no longer correct just to export the new;y setup site from PRD to DEV for further configuration.
Though site export is still available, it is not coming out with customer/vendor master data.
In this case, I supposed I will need to do it separately.
Can some one guide me how to trigger the export of the customer master data(site)?
I think the IDOC message type is DEBMAS.
    Thanks
    Bye

    Hi there,
It's quite a simple exercise and you are right, the IDOC type is DEBMAS (Do remember, if you dealing with a Distribution center as Site, than you have to consider sending the CREMAS as well as it is for Vendor).
Use ALE or other means of sending  IDOCs between the two clients. If you will use ALE, use transaction code BD12 for sending customer and BD14 for sending vendors in the source client.
I hope your query is reasonably answered, award points accordingly.
    Cheers

  • How to export a video with 32 bits ?

    Hello everyone
First of all, I'm french so I'm sorry if there are mistakes in my sentences.
I'm experiencing some difficulties with exporting my first short film with Premiere Pro properly.
I want the output to be a .avi file in 32 bits. Unfortunately, when I'm in the export settings window, there are no video codecs allowing the output to be in 32 bits (all the video codecs leads to 8 bits, or 16 bits, or 24 bits, but none of them go further). Therefore, in the "video codecs" form I'm compelled to select "None", and that gives me a 32 bits output that is enormous : 95 go for a 7'30" video...
Of course it's too big, and I can't upload it on vimeo, or either burn any DVD with it.
Do you know if there's a way I can export my project to a 32 bits video, but in a reasonable size ?
Thank you very much for your attention.
    Best regards,
    Damien

I would not count on a reasonble file size but Cineform offers 32 bits.
So does Lagarith if you have it installed.
Quicktime None, Animations and JPEG2000 offer 32 bits
Why do you want 32 bits, no good for vimeo or dvd.
Vimeo prefers mp4 and dvd mpeg2-dvd.

  • SOS!! How to export a schema while the SYSAUX tablespace is offline?

    Hello,
the SYSAUX for one of our productive database became corrupted and I had to take it offline in order to open the database. There is no way to recover it since there are missing archive logs from the sequence.
So I need to export a database schema which holds all the productive tables/indexes (there are no procedure, functions, packages, triggers, etc - just tables, constraints and indexes).
When I try to export the schema, I get the following error:

I've tried direct export, data pump (expdp) but with the same unsucessfull results.
Is there any way to use the export or expdp utility to get the actual data from a specific schema ?
    Many thanks

Hello Harry and many thanks for your reply.
EXCLUDE is an option of expdp not exp. So I used expdp and get the following error:

  • How can export psd file to html including css in center position at  flexible layout

    need urgent help

Html is not an image format. It is a text format that can point to a png or jpg image in your web page.
Depending on the image, it may be easier to just export as a jpg or png and let dreamweaver worry about the html and css.
However, if you preview the image from the save for web dialog box in a web browser, it will give you the html code, that was generated for that preview.
In the windows menu you should find a css panel to use.
