How to export Video (GeforceFX5600 VTD256)

?? how can i export any video to my VHS? i can capture fine... but how can i export?

hehe, funny you asked that, 5 minutes ago, i dragged my TV into my room, (where the Comp. is) hooked it up to the output RCA from the Video card, booted up the computer and i saw on the TV the loading screen of Windows, when windows loaded it disappeared (normal due to the fact of the resolutions etc...) so i was happy to know at least it worked, but to my amazement, the mouse went dead, and as soon as i unplugged the RCA video out from the TV and restarted the Comp. the mouse worked again, thats gotta be some funny conflict going on in there. What this leads me to believe is 1- my VCR is way to old (6+years) 2- my VCR wont accept digital input. So what i tried next is to see if my VCR would record the loading screen just as the TV showed it, and no, it did not. So tomorrow im going to buy a new VCR and an adapter to see if i can transform Digital output into analog Output. I'm really desperate to get this working. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the reply.

  • How to export videos on my iPhone?

Hi all, I just got my new MBA and I'm getting used to how mac handle photos and music differently from a PC now. Since iPhone doesn't show up in the Finder as a "device" like on a Windows platform, how can I export videos on my iPhone then? The videos don't get recognized in iPhoto and I couldn't find any way to export it in iTunes. Can anyone help me here?

One convenient way is to use the Image Capture utility that comes with the MBA.  Connect the iPhone to the MBA with the USB cable and launch Image Capture located in Applications -> Untilities.  The iPhone will show up in the sidebar on the left and the videos and photos will be shown.  Select and download to desktop or wherever.
iTunes will do it too.  In the View menu make sure you have the sidebar enabled.  The iPhone will show up under Devices.  Click on it and then select the movies tab and your movies should show up for selection and download.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to export video without modification

So it appears that the new iPhoto 9.5 modifies video files when exporting, even when you choose "original." I like to backup my original files without any modification. Images don't seem to be modified, but videos are; the timestamp changes and the size is smaller. Has anyone figured out an easy way to export/backup without modifying the original video files?
I've tried going into the iPhoto library and just backing up manually from there, but Apple has once again modified the file structure of the library so it's hard to figure out if you're getting all the files, or even what date you're getting. It seems to separate it by month and date of import, but not the date the actual image/video was taken.
I liked the old version where you just select a range of images/videos in iPhoto and export the originals to a backup drive without any modification.
Here's a screenshot of how it organizes the files in the library. Kind of a mess.

With past versions, when you exported as "original," it wasn't actually exporting a new file; it was copying the original file to a new location. So you were getting a bit-for-bit copy of the original. It appears to still do that with images—the copied file has the same datestamp and size as the original. By "datestamp" I mean the date you see on the file in Finder, not the embedded Exif info.
But with videos, the new version is modifying the original, making it a smaller file size, and changing the file's datestamp. If I choose "original," I should be getting a direct copy of the original, but I'm not. Instead I'm getting a modified version of it. And given the filesize change, I'm assuming it's a compressed version.
I know direct access to the library isn't supported. It's the Apple way to keep stuff like that hidden. But in the past, if I wanted to, I could view package contents and get to files I needed much more easily than the new version allows.
I'm just trying to find an easy way to back up the original video file, not a modified version of it.

  • How to export Videos and Pictures from the iPhone 4 to my PC

    Hello together,
maybe this question will have a simple answer, but finding this answer seems to not so simple...at least for me...
I have several 100 photos and some videos (made by the iPhone 4) on my iPhone 4.
I want to export some fotos and also a video to my Windows PC to give these files to friend. For example the video is to long to send via Email. I would like to burn the files on a disc.
How can I export these files to my PC?
I tried to use a SW called ifunbox, but this SW always closes with an error message before even starting up.
I also found some information about copying pictures and videos directly to the PC via the Windows Explorer. Unfortunately my iPhone 4 is not listed in the Windows Explorer and I can not find the iPhone via the device manager...
    Can anybody help me?

    Hello roaminggnome,
thank you for the quick reply.
I tried Photoshop Elements, which is also mentioned in the pdf file you linked in your reply.
Unfortunately I can not select the iPhone 4 from the device list. It seems that the iPhone is not detected.
In iTunes I have no problems...
    ...any ideas...

  • How to export videos in good quality?

    hi,
this is my first post on this discussion board, so please be understanding.
ok, so i have to prepare lot of videos for web, in Final Cut Express. mainly interviews, which are about 3 minutes to 5 minutes long max. on the other hand, i have restriction, that this videos should have max. 10 mb weight.
and me questions is, how to make it? Of course i want good quality!
how to do export, which setting i should customize?
or maybe which another program i should use to convert it later?
i'll be very thankful if You will write a little explanation!

Generally, exporting to H.264 or MP4 will give you the smallest file sizes. Plus, most web videos are not full screen and are at slower frame rates than regular video. You will have to experiment with some of the settings.
Export to QuickTime Conversion, select the H.264 or MP4 codec, try a couple of different options. First, reduce the size to 320x240 or smaller. See if that gives you the target file size. If not, try a smaller size. Then, if you still need to reduce the file size, try reducing the frame rate. Only change one thing at a time until you get the file size you need.

  • How to export videos from iPhoto 11

I have synced a load of pics and videos from iphone 5 to iPhoto 11 v9.4.2.
I want to get the vids on youtube (this option is not available via the share button in iPhoto).
I have tried exporting the video from iPhoto so i can do the upload manually as a normal file, however exporting the video (as original file format) causes it to export as a .jpg and not as the video format.
I would have done it form the phone but this fails everytime whether i am on 3g or wi-fi.
iPhoto does not even allow me to see the file location via get info so i cant even just go and find them myself!
How am i supposed to get the video file on my mac somewhere where i can see the file and upload it myself seeing as iphoto does not provide an upload to youtube option?
    Please help!
    Thanks

iPhoto does not even allow me to see the file location via get info so i cant even just go and find them myself!
If you select the video in the browser and use the command
File > Reveal in Finder > Original file
you should see the video file. Does that not work for you?
Also, you should be able to export the video:
         File > Export
and set the "Kind" pop-up menu to "Original", like this:

  • How to export videos from the ipad on a SD card?

i Want to put some videos from my Ipad on a SDCard to give them to a friend, how should i do? Thank you.

The camera connection kit is for copying content to an iPad, it doesn't support copying content off it. Assuming that they are in the Photos app then you can copy them from your iPad to your computer, and from there to the SD card : Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support

  • How to export video that plays back smoothly?

I have an HD project in Premiere Pro CS4 that is about 9 minutes.  When I render out to Flash for the web, once it's all buffered it plays back real smooth.  So the client wants a copy of the "file" to be played on his computer running Windows and Windows Media Player which he will attach to a large 55" flatscreen via HDMI at a trade show.  I rendered out several different files ranging from .MOV to H.264 in various resolutions (1920x1080, 1280x720p, 720x480 wide, iPod, etc.) and tested them on my Dell Inspiron i3 laptop running Windows 7 Home 64 bit connected to my 46" tv via HDMI to simulate what the client would have.
The 1920 file was huge (2GB) as one would expect and plays back jerky
The 1280x720p .MP4 file was about 400mb which I was excited about, but plays back jerky
The other two (.MOV and .MP4) at 720x480 play back smoothly
So I'm guessing that it's either a disk / processor issue with playing back the larger files or combo of that and the graphics card or am I having an issue with the way the settings are set in the export options?
The box I'm producing the video on is a Mac i7 quad-core, 8GB RAM and a nice ATI card.  The full rez versions of the files play fine on it.  BluRay is out too.  Don't have a burner and they don't have a player.
So what file format and settings can I render out that will yield smooth(er) results at larger resolutions for my intended output?
    Thanks,
    Steve

And the answer is.... converting the footage to WMV.  Tada.  I exported a nice huge HD 1920x1080 H.264 file and then used iSkysoft Video Converter to convert it to WMV.  Now the only thing is that iSkysoft Coverter only allows 1280x720 as it's largest resolution for WMVs, but even so, the quality on a 46" LCD TV coming from a laptop via HDMI looks pretty sharp.  The video was running very smooth (and it was running off a USB key <g>) to boot.
The file size of the original HD H.264 file:  9.02GB
The file size of the converted WMV: 437.5MB
All in all I'm happy with this breakthrough.  I was "this" close to buying a BluRay burner, media and telling the client to use a BluRay player.
Now... I love what I got, but it could be better.  Does anyone know of a good video converter that will convert WMVs to true HD resolution (1920x1080) or is that 1280x720 a WMV limit?
    Thanks all,
    Steve

  • How to export video from 2 different iPhones?

I have a bunch of videos I have shot of our son with my iPhone 4S and my GF has some videos she has shot with her iPhone 4 and I need the footage from her phone but don't want her phone to sync with my library if I try to connect to my computer. She has a PC and I have a Mac. So how can I get the footage from her phone so I can add to mine so I can edit a little video of our son?
We both have a Dropbox (www.dropbox.com) If she uploads her videos to her Dropbox then sends them to me is that an option? I guess she could email or text message them to me too. I think I just answered my own question! LOL!

You import photos/videos the same way you do with any digital camera, you use iPhoto. No syncing involved at all, and no iTunes involvement. Just connect her phone & import them.

  • How to export videos de iphoto a imovie

    Hi,
I have captured trought iphoto some videos from my iphone. When I tried to export that videos from iphoto to imovie, imovie crash (i have the last version)
Could somebody help me with this problem?
    Thanks and regards

iMovie 8 accepts video in MPEG4, DV and MOV formats. If your video clips are from a still camera that records in another format, you will have to first convert the videos before iMovie 8 will recognize them. You can use MPEG Streamclip to do this. You may be able to batch convert clips; I have not done this and have converted them one at a time.
Just drag the clip from iPhoto onto the MPEG Streamclip window and select to convert it to one of the above formats; save the new clip, then put it into iMovie.
