Hi Hanumant,
1. Go to MM42
2. Enter the article to be extended.
3. Enter the Sales Organization and Distribution Channel to which the article to be extended to.
4. Select the Sales View.
5. Press Enter
Save
It's Done.
To verify, goto mm43 and enter the detail and check
or
after entering the article code in mm43 go to Sales Org. field and press F4, in the popup you will see a column 'Maint.' , X should be marked in front of your new sales org,dist channel combination.

Go to Common Distribution Channel and Mention distribution channel.
For Example
Distrib.channel Ref.distrib.channel
01 01
02 01
03 01
04 04
In this example, only distribution channels 01 and 04 have customer and material master data defined. Distribution channels 01, 02, and 03 share the master data that you defined for distribution channel 01. Distribution channel 04 has its own master data. When you create a sales order in distribution channel 03, the system checks the customer and material master data against the data defined for distribution channel 01.

Yes. It is very much possible & pratically used by most of companies using SAP.
Just go thru SAP documentation in this menu paths & you will understand.

2. IMG - Enterprise Structure - Assignment - Sales and Distribution - Assign sales area to credit control area

Different Sales Organization in CRM DEV,QAS,PRD

Hi,
Is anyone knows how to correct inconsistent sales organization in DEV, QAS & PRD, meaning number series of sales organization units in DEV is not same with the QAS and PRD. With this situation, pricing in CRM online and internet sales is not consistent with what in R/3 and i'm getting error while doing CRMD_ORDER.

I tried transporting the Org model but still when I tried creating a sales order using CRMD_ORDER, the system still unable to get the right base/list price and then when I check one of the condition tables (CNCCRMPRSAP004 & CNCCRMPRSAP005) it still contains the wrong sales org unit number series. Do I need to do the initial loading R3AS (R/3 to CRM)? to overwrite the entries of those condition tables?
Please advise what to do next.

What I´ askng is how to assign a Sales BOM to a sales area, which is the transaction for doing it as I jut know Cs01 ad works at plant level.
Question is that for the same material, I would like to work with Sales BOM in one sales organiation and not to work with Sales BOM in another sales organzation

Copy Customer in different Sales Organization

we have a company code and we create another Company Code and another Sales Organization in the same machine. For that, there are a lot of customers that will begin to work with the new Company. We find a report RFBIDE10, Transfer Customer Master Data from Source Company Code: Send; to transfer customer from old company to new, with a B_I. We are looking for the same program to create customer in the new Sales Organization, could you help us ? Do you know is exist a BAPI to do this or a program ? Any idea to do this, of course we could make an ABAP program, but we want a Std. Solution, if it's possible

Credit management with different sales organization

Dear Friend,
Pls proceed as follows for implementaing credit control at sales Area level:
1.Define two control Areas e.g C1 & C2 in enterprise structure(Definition)
2.Do not assign the Company code with control area howver keep the "overwrite CC" tab checked (SPRO-Assignement of control area with company code)
3.Assign Sales Area e.g S1 & S2 with control Area C1 & C2
4.Now define credit limit in FD32 for customer in control area C1 & C2
Pls note the control area will be derived automaticaly in case of sales transactions however while posting thru FI control should be a mandatory field in all transactions affecting cutomer ledger balance.you would be required to take help from Fi for this.
Following areas of FI needs changes:
1.Incoming payment & down payments
2.Credit or debit notes
3.Manual clearing of payments with Invoices.
Pls do ask if any other calrification is required.

Hi Cristina.
The program CRM_ARC_SALDOC_CHECK is the preprocessing program that is called for sales documents such as opportunities. If you check this program in SE38 you will see that the only selection criteria for this report are by Transcation type and transaction number. Therefore it is not possible to only mark documents from a certain sales organisation as archiveable in
standard.You would need to modify the program CRM_ARC_SALDOC_CHECK in order to have sales organization as a selection
criteria.

Extend article wrt. different store which belong to different Company code

We have Scenario like two company codes.
In First company code we have one Distribution centre and in Second Company code we have five store
The Article we have created in distribution Center belongs to First Company code
and same Article we need to extend to all store which belong to second company code
please advice

The scenario is called Cross Company Code Stock transfer.
If your company's distribution center and store belong to different company codes and you need to transfer goods from one to the other, you must create a stock transport order with document type NB. This involves the process stock transfer with billing document. As in normal stock transport orders, an SD delivery with a
specific delivery type (NLCC) is created for this combination of supplying site and document type NB. This ensures that an invoice can be sent to the store.

How to extend CMIR to new sales org's and distribution channels

i need to extend existing CMIR's to new sales org's and disttibutiion channel combo's, i have about 24000 records that need to be extended to around 300 new sales org's and disttibutiion channel combo's.
is there a way to do this without having to do a lsmw recording.

Mass Extend article Master

Hi,
I am trying to extend article master to site and storage location. MMSC_MASS or MM17 does not allow for Retail article. Is there any other mass transaction thru which Articles can be extended?
Tried articel integrated change but it only allows to change, not extend or create.

Extending material master for different sales org/plant combination

hi ,
1 ) a material can be sold from one plant by many sales organisations. so we map this scenario in enterprise structure by the config step "assign sales org--dist channel--
plant ". (let's say sales org A and B selling from plant 1 and also sales org A selling from plant 2)
when we have defined the above config step, then why we need to have material master extended for different combination of sales org and plant as in stpe 1 ?. we can just create one material master with one plant and sales org combination and based on config as in step one, we can sell material from any sales org from a plant ?
2) we can extend material master for any combination of sales org/plant .....is it also possible to extend material master to different storage locations !

There are several reasons why you should extend the materails to different sales organizations and plants.
a. The materials are normally valuated at the plant level. So, you can have different valuations at different plants.
b. You can have different quantity stored in different plants. How do you know which plant has what quantity.
c. You can have materail not to be sold from one plant, but you can have the same materail sold from the other, how do you block it? at the plant and materail combination, you can do it.
d. For different sales organizations, you may want the cost and the price to be posted to different GL accounts. You can control it at sales org level of the materail.
e. You may just want the material to be purchased but not sold, then you may not even create a sales org view for the material. But say, in future you will like to only purchase a materail from a plant and consume it for some other purpose but not sales (which u did previously), then you can block it at sales org and dbr level.
So, these are a few reasons. But there could be many. You can have a look at the fields in the material master at sales org level and plant level and you can find it for yourself howmany parameters are there to control...

Remove the exsting extended sales organization for material master

Hi All,
Could you advice how to remove the existing extened sales organization for a material master?
e.g.
we have a mateiral A-001 and have extended sales org / distribution channel
8110 10
8210 10
and currently we don't want 8210 10 to sell this part, can we disable or remove this sales org / dis channel for this part?

Go to material master and select Sales: Sales Org. Data 1 view and click on "Organisational levels" tab at the bottom. Maintain delivering plant, sales organisation 8210 and distribution channel 10 and execute.
There you can see a field "DChain-spec. status" where you assign "01" and save.
Go to OVSU, select "01" and click on blue lens on top so that you will see some list of tabs. In that maintain "B" against "Block for order" field and save.
Now try to create sale order for this material from sales organisation 8210 and also from 8110 and you will find that you can create sale order from 8110 and not from 8210.

There is no link for Division and the Plant,
You can assign the Divison to the Sales organisation in the Customizing
path :
IMG>ENTERPRISE STRUCTURE>ASSIGNMENTS--->ASSING DIVISIONS TO SALES ORGANISATION
here you can assign the Division to Sales organisation
