How to federate database on many to many

Hi,
we want to use the federated database because our data can grow substantially My data is simple but relation is complex here is my data and relation
A student can have many profiles and students are liked to other students profiles. now a student who have linked student can see the student and the his profile he is linked to and also the student who is linked can see which student have added him in links.
My question is in this scenario which table should i federate data to achive the best performance from the database.

Thanks for your reply but here design is not the primary part of the my question. and also I need the student id in source student not his profile(your design suggession is correct but do not fit in our requirements). I want to federate the database on some
table so that when my data grows it can be split to other databases for performance and scaleability.
now my question is on which table should i federate the my database?
if i use the standard approach on student than in this case how can i get data for linkedstudentid that in which student has added him to his list with profile. I need some expert on federated database.

I tried Notpod but can't get it to work. Part of the problem, I suspect, is that I can't create a folder on my player (a SanDisk Clip+). I also can't do this in Windows Explorer. Whilst I can see the Clip+ in Explorer, the option to create a new folder isn't there.
The error mesag I get in Notpod is:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit the application will close immediately.
InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'SelctedIndex'. Parameter name: SelectedIndex"
Then, when I plug the Clip+ into a USB port, iTunes thinks it is my iPad - which is because, I guess, Notpod hasn't worked.
I can drag and drop files from the Music folder where my iTunes tracks are stored onto the Clip+ and they get converted but I'd rather synchronise a Playlist from iTunes if I can.

New itunes is trying to wipe the ipod. But have many many playlists (many hours making) which I want to save. Any help would be appreciated.

If you want to just extract the playlists from your iPod, plug it in iTunes. When it appears under devices, right->click on it and choose Export Playlists. Save them to a location such as your desktop and them import them into your library once you have copied and imported all of your music back into it.

To update your billing information, you would need to change your iTunes Store country to be able to enter the information for Switzerland. I found an article with the steps to update this:
Change your iTunes Store country
Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
Follow the onscreen process to change your region, agree to the terms and conditions for the region if necessary, and then change your billing information.

Does anyone know how to slow down too many deliveries of dail return_job at 00:30?
I'm using following version.

and then the smarthost could not process these messages and froze.

Thanks for your message. You can custom set pages but there are no preset of page sizes like A4, A3, ect. I cannot click the size preference, nothing comes up

You can't view your photos in the iPhoto library in Time Machine vis the Finder. You must enter Time Machine, go back in time to the library you want to restore and restore it?

I did disable the security (AVG and Zone Alarm) when I tried on my own PC. My wife's laptop which eventually got it working also uses AVG and Zone Alarm but on an XP O/S whereas my PC is Vista - maybe this is why.

iMovie '11: Organize your video
Organize the Event Library
When you import video from your camera into iMovie, you name the video (called an Event), and then by default iMovie lists it in the Event Library by the date it was recorded.
To separate clips in the Event browser by the days they were recorded, choose View > “Show Separate Days in Events.”
You might want to do this if you have any Events that contain video that was recorded on more than one day. For example, an Event could have video recorded on New Year’s Eve and on New Year’s Day. To find specific clips more easily, you could separate the footage by date.

I'm trying to modify the simple data client and the simple data server program in example in LabVIEW6i. How do I send a 2 dimension nummeric matrix? and also how do I send many numeric matrices at a time?

The problem here is that at the receiving end, one cannot know how many
bytes to read before unflattenning into the datatype.
A method that works for *any* datatype (and any data transfer mechanism):
Flatten the data to string.
Flatten again the string to string; this adds a string lenght (U32) header
to the string.
Send the string.
When receiving data, first read 4 bytes and convert to U32.
Read this number of bytes.
Typecast the string to the expected datatype.

All it takes is for one computer to be infected by a virus (obviously a PC) that sends all its contacts to the hacker's server, and then all these contacts are used as recipients to scam emails. Hackers even post stolen contacts on the web for others to use.

Oracle ship many pre-delivered Database Items plus they're created automatically when you create Input Values (etc).
There's often something already there for you. If there's not, you usually create Fast Formula functions to retrieve other data. You don't create your own custom DBIs; Oracle don't deliver APIs for that.

That's because 'ALTER SYSTEM QUIESCE RESTRICTED' doesn't actually put the database into restricted mode:
SQL> select logins, active_state from v$instance;
LOGINS       ACTIVE_ST
ALLOWED       NORMAL
SQL> alter system quiesce restricted;
System altered.
SQL> select logins, active_state from v$instance;
LOGINS       ACTIVE_ST
ALLOWED       QUIESCEDTry staring the database in restricted mode and then quiescing it:
SQL>
SQL> shutdown immediate;
Database closed.
Database dismounted.
ORACLE instance shut down.
SQL> startup restrict;
ORACLE instance started.

SQL>As you can see from V$INSTANCE, when you are running in restricted mode LOGINS will have a value of 'RESTRICTED'
However - I still think that if you are dealing with users logging in to your (RESTRICTED) database via the listener then the easiest option is to stop the listener whilst the database is down and restart it once your alter database command has completed.
PS : No any other user is connected.No, they wouldn't be this time because you had quiesced the database... but you still need to get the database into restricted mode for this alter database command.
