I want to compare only NEW data: xxxx OLD data: yyyy or NEW data1 :xxx OLD data1: yyyy Auto Update : 10/04/2014 09:36 NEW data1: xxx1 OLD data1: yyy1 Auto Update : 08/04/2014 12:28 NEW data1: xxx2 OLD data1: yyy2with the same ste
of value from another database but since I used substring I am getting even Ack - etr03 : 10/04/2014 08:13 value whose length changes for above 2 examples.
USed substring to get NEW data1 :xxx OLD data1: yyyy Auto Update : 10/04/2014 09:36 NEW data1: xxx1 OLD data1: yyy1 Auto Update : 08/04/2014 12:28 NEW data1: xxx2 OLD data1: yyy2
or
NEW data: xxxx OLD data: yyyy
but the ack part cannot be removed due to variable lenghts for each data hence could not compare this column between 2 databases. Any help would be highly appreciated.

                I have one scenario , the Functional SPEC says Read the payroll results and from the CRT get all the 4 quaters
for the wage type /5UH and sum them and then pass on the to field in the main strucutre.

the internal table   i_payresult is picking up only the second quater (01-04-2008 to 30/04/2008 ) ,but since on the selection screen iam pasing as other period (04 2008) the internal table i_payresult returing from the FM (HR_GET_PAYROLL_RESULTS) only   picks the second quater,
could any one let meknow how i can pick up the first quarter as well and add the first and second quater to mee the requirement .
Please help me in this regard

             Thank you for giving me idea for going further regarding this problem , so my final question for this is
as per FS they said they are going to enter the payroll
area and the other selection as 04 2008
In order to achieve the first quarter , because 04 2008 means they are going to enter for the second quarter , the payroll results will come only for second quarter and not for the first quater , if they want to sum all the two quarters then they shouldnt pass on the selection screen   the dates as 04 2008, instead they has to pas
01 01 2008 to 30 06 2008 , as there is no point in they passing as 04 2008 as we are going to consider from 01 2008 to 062008 .   Please correst me if am correct regarding the dates passing on teh selection screen
or if the user enters on theslection screen still enter 04 2008 and will be able to acheive the first quarter ??
Please answer me this point before i can change the logic of the code and tell to my FO regarding this point.

What appears in the text field will be a file name. How do I get both the file name and the content of that file to be saved in the database?

Recording Audio Cuts off the first part of the region?

Hi. When i record audio the regions show up after recording and i have to pull the beginning of the region back a bit so that i can see the full length of the audio recording. Its non destructive but very annyoing. How can i stop it doing this everytime? Thanks

How to fetch the VAT registration number of the ship to party from the billing document. Can you proide some information for fetching the VAT registration number of the ship to party.
Normally only the payer VAT registration number will be displayed in the Invoice. But in my case the Ship to party VAT number is displayed.
I have resolved this problem by doing the customizing setting in order to have the payer vat registration number. But for the Old Billing documents it is more than 30,000 documents where it was printed with the ship to party VAT number. So i need to identify those documents.
Can you please help to resolve this problem.

To get VAT from the ship to from Billing, You have to first fetch the BILLING NUMBER from the VBRK and then goto the Document flow in VBFA to get the SALES DOCUMENT NUMBER and with sales document you will get the SHIP TO number from the VBPA with the PARVW = SH
Once you got the SHIP TO , then goto the KNA1 and get the VAT ID in the field STCEG
so the logic will be as follows
VBRK---VBELN and then
VBFA--VBELN with the document Category as C
VBPA-VBELN and get the KUNNR with PARVW =SH
Now with KUNNR ( ship to ) get the VAT ID from KNA1-STCEG

Suppose RFGLBALANCE is your standard program and you have an internal table named I_RFGLBALANCE.
And lets say your Z program name is Z_SRINIVAS.
First find out the type of the internal table you want in your Z-program in the standard program. And declare an internal table of similar type in your Z-program.
I hope you can do this much.
Later wherever you are putting the below mentioned code.
SUBMIT RFGLBALANCE WITH selection criteria
Write the code which i have written.Obviously modify it to suit your requirement.

I'd recommend processing the records inside a custom method on your application module. This is a best practice whever you can do it, and it makes your application easier to maintain and test.
I'd also recommend using Immediate Mode instead of Batch Mode. Please see this article on the subject:
