How to filter all images with 16 BIT colordepth?

is there a way in LR (or bridge) to filter all images that are saved as 16 bit images.
i noticed i have a lot of scanned photos/slides that don´t need to be in 16 bit TIFF format.
8 bit is enough for them and would save me a ton of HDD space (even when most of them are LZW compressed).
but i need a way to find them in my 80000 images database.
so that i can make a further selection which of these 16 bit images i can convert to 8 bit.

im always a bit fearsome when a plugin changes the database entrys.
Apart from increasing the database file size, I don't think there's
anything to be afraid about. First, the plugins do not do it directly, but
via and SDK provided by Adobe. Second, all the plugin data is stored in
separate database tables, so they don't mess with stock data.

As suggested else-thread, the colourspace is not used in Lr, so it isn't a primary piece of available metadata. However, for the purposes of organization, I suppose you would like to know what space an image was in if you were to export the originals as-is. This seems a reasonable request.
You can do this by hand, I suppose, by using a colour label or keyword, and forming a smart collection around that. Not ideal, of course.
Alternatively, I imagine this metadata would be available via the API, and then "searchable metadata" selections might apply. I've done little API coding around metadata, so I'm guessing here.
There are plugins that let you expose and display (but possible not search on) arbitrary metadata, as well. They have been mentioned here before, and are probably on the Adobe hosted plugin location. Not sure if this would help you much, but it is worth a look.

If the emails have been previously deleted (I.e. in the trash folder), tap Edit at the top of the list. You should see a delete all button at the bottom. If the messages are in a standard folder, they need to be handled one at a time.

You only need to use the source code to implant these shows there where you want. In my eyes it would be the best that you use first a very new and blank DW file to perform (maybe in LiveView) the one or the other.

How to sort and filter all images when using stacks?

I have a project where all images are arranged in stacks. I have also gone through and given each image a rating or rejected it. Now I want to sort out and display only a certain selection of images, i.e. rejected images for deletion or four star images etc. But the selection filter only seems to work on the stack pick. Can I change this so that the filter works on all images, even if they are part of an open stack? If not, how could I else single out all the rejected ones and delete them? I don't want to break the stacks.

The only current way to do this is via Smart Albums, as there is a checkbox at the bottom of the settings HUD: 'Ignore Stack Groupings'.

You really would not want to do this - you would have a mess - many duplicates and lots of images that have nothing to do with photos
Tell us more about your problem - what is happening and how it occurred
Most likely you have all of your original Photos in the originals folder of your iPhoto library and simply quitting iPhoto, dragging the iPhoto library to the desktop, launching iPhoto and creating a new library and dragging each folder from the originals folder in your iPhoto library on the desktop onto the iPhoto icon in the dock (check to be sure that the iPhoto preference to split items imported from the finder is NOT checked) - this will recreate your events

Photoshop diplays all images with desaturated colors (Images look fine when opened in other apps)

All of a sudden, when I open any image in Photoshop, the colors appear to be desaturated...In Photoshop only. When I open that same image in Window Picture Viewer, or Quicktimer, or even if I drag the image into a brower window, the colors appear fine. But in Photoshop, something is clearly wrong. Now, I can make color adjustments to the image, but when I save and reopen reopen it in another application, I can see that color changes have been made, but they still don't match what Photoshop is displaying.
The images are RGB image...I've checked the color space setings in Photoshop, and they are the default (Edit > Color Settings: North American General Purpose 2 / RGB: sRGB IEC61966-2.1 / CMYK: US Web Coated (SWOP) V2, etc, etc). I also made sure View > Proof Setup was set to: Working CMYK. I even reset Photoshop to it's default settings (by holding down CTRL-ALT-SHIFT on launching Photoshop)...But the images still appear desaturated when I open them in Photoshop...So, I don't understand how this is still a Photoshop problem...But then again, they look fine when I use any other application on my computer to open them, so it's clearly not an issue with my monitor.
The frustrating thing is, I haven't made any changes to Photoshop OR my monitor (that I know about)...Photoshop has worked perfectly for me for years, and now there's this SNAFU that I just can not figure out.
Any suggestions?
I've included a screenshot below to show the disparity between an image opened in Photoshop (on left) and Windows Picture Viewer (on right):

It's difficult to provide help without knowing your level of color-management expertise, but I think you've helped us some with that in post number 2.
Color management is basically this: Images and devices have certain color characteristics, and these are described by color profiles, sometimes also called color spaces.
1. You should not need to use the Proof Setup at all to view your images on your monitor. When things are set up properly Photoshop shows you accurate color without your choosing View - Proof Colors.
2. A color-managed application like Photoshop will try to show you accurate color on your display by interpreting both the image profile and your monitor profile and transforming the colors accordingly. BY DEFINITION this will look different than other applications which don't do color-management as these just pump the image RGB values directly out to the display.
Thus:
If your monitor profile indicates your monitor has a wide gamut, images with embedded profiles may appear less saturated inside Photoshop than from non-color-managed apps.
If you view images that have an embedded wide gamut profile (such as Adobe RGB 1998 or ProPhoto RGB), Photoshop and other color-managed applications will interpret that profile and the colors will likely appear more saturated in Photoshop than in a non-color-managed application.
It sounds as though the first case applies in your case here.
You can check to see what monitor profile is associated with your monitor through OS settings. I'm thinking, based on the caption buttons in your screen grab, that you've got Windows XP, but rather than go further with that assumption, I'll ask you to verify it first.

How to capturing scrolling images with no java controls?

Can somebody help me? I am trying to capture the image of the browser, using the followed code to do it, but I can not take it scrolling the screen. I do not use any control of java in the browser. Does anybody have an idea?

Thanks to anybody, but i found the way on how to capture the image.
1. Take a snapshot of the screen.
2. Scroll the screen pushing the button down.
3. Take the snapshot of the scrolled part of the screen.
4. Scroll the screen pushing the button down.
5. Take the snapshot of the scrolled part of the screen.
6. Compare the 2 last images, if they are equals, stop scrolling, else scroll again.
7. Join the images first, second and third images, to get a single one corresponding to the hole info of the browser.
8. Save the resulting image.
The thing in this problem is to manage the images as RGB components for that you must use the getPixel(col, row, color); method to manipulate the components in matrix and added to a bigger matrix where you join the complete components. Be sure that you manage the 3D matrix correctly, [width of the screen] [height of the screen] [RGB components], i.e.
* This saves just the red component, the green and blue must be saved too.

how can I filter all photos that were made with a flash light?
I only can find ISO or aperture options in the filter pane.
Can I extend the filter pane by own filter options?

The Filter Pane, at least in CS3, is limited as to how you can arrange your photos by the topics listed.
If you want to list all the pictures you shot with flash you will have to use the Find function (ctrl F) and set the critera boexs to Flash, exists, and Fired. Have not tired this but should work.
You can save this as a collection if you want to refer to it again.

Is it possible in apex to show, in a report look-a-like, all image filenames from a folder in another machine (i enter in that machine by ip) and insert all files into wwv_flow_files?
I want to see all files, then pick one and open a image...
But it can't be by browse item... it has to show all filenames as a list...
If it is possible, how can i do it?

you can connect to the server using UTL_HTTP.
Then for each files you copy the response into a BLOB to be able to show it or to store it in a table.
