How to Find and add a glyph in photoshop cs??

I am trying to design aan ebook cover in Photoshop and want to add some dot points on the cover but can' t figure out how.
In very simple language could someone please explain where I find them and how I insert them in text.
Also while I'm at it, Is Photoshop the best program to do an eBook cover In? I also have Indesign and Illustrator.

If you are looking for a specific glyph in a font, the problem is that Photoshop doesn't have a Glyph Panel.
Illustrator and InDesign both have Glyph Panels and can show you all the gylphs in your selected font.
You could try cutting & pasting from there into Photoshop.
Some other alternatives are Character Viewer in Mac OSX or Character Map in Windows.
However, if you are mainly concerned with text issues for your cover, InDesign or Illustrator will offer better typographic controls than Photoshop
You can also place graphics into these programs.

Hi,
2 ways:
1 - You can define a Structure String -> 0..n and define your role as Runtime Defined, so you associate this structure with your role. You will retrieve the users by role from UME, after this, initialize the structure withe the users. So the values will be transferred to your process.

Easiest way to do it is the following:
- Open the PDF file in Acrobat.
- Go to Tools - Forms - More Form Options - Export Data.
- Save the form data as an XML file somewhere on your system.
- Open XML the file in a plain-text editor (I recommend Notepad++).
- Let's say you want to replace all the years in the dates from "2013" to "2014". Do a global Search&Replace of "2013-" to "2014-" (I added the dash just to make sure that only date fields are edited).
- Save the XML file (maybe under a new name).
- Go back to the PDF file, and now go to Tools - Forms - More Form Options - Import Data.
- Select the edited XML file and import it.
- Done!

where I can choose :

and then :
"64-bit SDK 1.4.2 base images (at 1.4.2.0 level; in installp format) "->"Base SDK (required)
Java14_64.sdk.tar ((50001920)
then I assume (on AIX ) I should "tar xvf Java14_64.sdk.tar".
then I get extracted "Java14_64.sdk"
Is this ok?
I know on Linux(
from IBM site I downloaded "IBMJava2-amd64-142.rpm"
then I issued
"rpm -i IBMJava2-amd64-142.rpm "
and finally issued

HT2905 No Display Duplicates under File. How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library

I now have iTunes ver 11.0.4.4 under Windows 7. I lost all iTunes stuff when updating to Windows 7. I have loaded thousands amd thousands of music files from backup disks, but there are many duplicates. I am attemping to re-establish my old library. I used to be able to remove duplicates quickly with the old iTunes. The new iTunes doesn't seem to offer the same service. Is there any way to remove duplicates quickly, or must I do it one by one?

When deduping use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin. Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

Please go to the Apple (upper left corner) and click on About this Mac. In the resulting window, click on the numbers underneath until they display the OS version.
Snow Leopard, Lion, and Mountain Lion are all OS X - they are 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8 respectively. After you get the OS version, click until you get the "Build" number and post that as well.
If your Mac is from 2010, it most likely came with Snow Leopard. If you purchased Lion, then you should be able to see it under your Purchases in the App Store (not iTunes). But, first, we need to figure out what was installed on your machine after the hard drive replacement.
Not sure about iPhoto at this point - may have to do with whaever OS version is installed. Check in Applications folder in column view and post back which version of iPhoto you have installed.
