How to find and install the best version of Flash Player for a G4?

My dad has a Mac with OS 10.4.11. It's an 800 MHz Power PC G4 with 768 MB of memory SDRAM. His current version of Flash Player hardly works (video comes out as single images every few seconds) so we want to update it so he can watch You Tube and the like. We went to the page to install a new version that would work with OS 10.4 and received an error saying that that version of FP cannot be installed because Power PCs are no longer supported.
Can someone lead us in the right direction? We use Safari as our browser (it's version 4.0.4--kinda old, I think--could that have something to do with it?). We just want the best version of FP that will work with this set-up. Thanks.

I have some computers with far slower processors, and Flash Player 14 works perfectly well on them too.

If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 8. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
You might have to log out or restart the computer before a Flash update takes effect.
Step 2
From the Safari menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Close the window. Then select
           ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.
Step 3
If you're only having trouble with YouTube videos, log in to YouTube and load this page. You may see a link with the text "Leave the HTML5 Trial." If so, click that link.

a. If you get a warning of a "blocked" or "outdated" plug-in, then select the Security tab in the Safari preferences window. Use the FULL offline installer: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/mac /install_flash_player_12_osx.dmg
And DON'T run it either. When you mount the dmg
and it opens the window, right click the installer and "Show Package Contents"
Double click the Adobe Flash Player.pkg and let it run the COCOA installer.

Try the following.
First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it to your Desktop.
Flash Player Uninstaller.
When the download has completed, close all browser windows and run the uninstaller. After this has completed, restart the PC.
Next, download and install Firefox and then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You may want to deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.
Close all browser windows before running the Flash installer.
Launch Firefox and see if the videos play Ok - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same Adobe Flash link above to get a prompt to install the ActiveX component. When done, restart Internet Explorer.

After installing the newer version of flash player 10.3.181.14, My firefox 4 started crashing.

I used to get Flash player plugin crashed but my Firefox never crashed, and that problem was easily resolved by just refreshing that page. But now my Firefox crashes and i have to restart it. which is really frustrating.
I have tried FF3, FF5 beta and the older version of flash player (10,2,159,1) and now i am used this old version but my firefox is still crashing regularly.

And it happens alot in Facebook.

The new versions of Flash Player for Android are still not in the Archive page!

I feel like something is missing in the Flash Player Archive page. Yesterday, I read that the new Flash Player version for Android 2.x/3.x is now version 11.1.111.73, and that the new Flash Player version for Android 4.x is now 11.1.115.81, but instead, all I see are previous versions of Flash Player for Android 4.x, 3.x, and 2.x! When will the newest Flash Player versions for Android be available to the archive page? the latest version of this player is showing up, and is enabled on my computer but does not work: I cannot view any video or listen to radio except for youtube. When I try to uninstall it and to retry the download of the latest version the installation/uninstallation will not complete and I get a message saying that I need to close program "brccmctl" even though no programs are open, and I cannot find that program in search. So I am stuck, can anyone help please ?

Why does it tell me I need to install the full version of flash player when I do have the full version installed.

I'm trying to open a pdf attachment that apparently has flash content in it. When I go to the download page, it says I need to install the full version. We are set up to distribute within our company because part of our network is offline. I assumed what we were downloading is the full version. Is there something else I'm missing?
