I have the following question regarding thePortal Development Kit (PDK) for SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0. We have Enterprise Portal 6.0 up and running.
1> How Do I find whether we already have this inported in the EP environment: I have admin and super admin role and trying to find '*java' in the Role. But didn't find one. Does that mean we don't have this imported already?
2> I have tried to Find out the PDK( which is also a Business Content) in SDN in the Portal Business content link (https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/contentportfolio.sdn) , but haven't found. Where from I download this business content?
3> What are the special steps that need to be taken to import this and make it working?

Hi Arunabha,
1. Note that the search is case sensitive. Therefore you should search for java and Java.
2. Download from: https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/downloaditem.sdn?res=/html/PDK60_download.htm

How to find and install the best version of Flash Player for a G4?
My dad has a Mac with OS 10.4.11. It's an 800 MHz Power PC G4 with 768 MB of memory SDRAM. His current version of Flash Player hardly works (video comes out as single images every few seconds) so we want to update it so he can watch You Tube and the like. We went to the page to install a new version that would work with OS 10.4 and received an error saying that that version of FP cannot be installed because Power PCs are no longer supported.
Can someone lead us in the right direction? We use Safari as our browser (it's version 4.0.4--kinda old, I think--could that have something to do with it?). We just want the best version of FP that will work with this set-up. Thanks.It's all here, regarding Flash Player:

This little FAQ will only cover the new version of MSI Bluetooth Software Package.
First thing too do is unistall any older version of the MSI Bluetooth Software.
Do this through the Add/Remove program applet in your control panel.
There seams too be only through Live update you could get the new version of MSI Bluetooth Software Package.
If you can't see any enter for MSI Bluetooth Software in the Live driver section of Live update then you have too enter the following too your registry.
Create following code in Notepad and save it as MSILD.reg, then run the file.

Rerun the Live update and hopefully you will now see a entry for MSI Bluetooth Software in Live driver section.
Install the new version of MSI Bluetooth Software and reboot your computer. Even if the setup program doesnt told you too doit.
After rebooting the computer you will see the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar. If it's Red then try too start the Bluetooth services by right click on the try icon and the only alternetiv there is.
If the Bluetooth services is asking for a valid licens.dat then you should do the following.
Surf to Jon's Bluetooth guide http://www.jonsguides.com./bluetooth/prepare.html and download the patcher from the link there.
Unzip the the patcher and then run the BTWPatcher.exe program.
Now the Bluetooth services will start and you will bee able too configure your own settings for the Bluetooth services.
If nothing of this work you could try the complete Bluetooth solution at Jon's gudie and install the IBM version of the same program. I havent test this solution and will not do soo.I have the MS-6968 device and i want to use driver 1.4.x or 3.0.x. I found the driver 1.4.2.10 but i cannot find any WIDCOMMSecurity code.
So, can anyone give me a link for BTWPatcher.exe???

I wander how to find and install right java for ECC6 intstallation on AIX5.3. I went thruroughly thru note 723909 and underlying 716927, 1008311 and 1039948 notes but I still do not understand.
I guess I should logon to IBM site http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/aix/service.html
where I can choose :
" Java 1.4.2 64-bit "
and then :
"64-bit SDK 1.4.2 base images (at 1.4.2.0 level; in installp format) "->"Base SDK (required)
Java14_64.sdk.tar ((50001920)
then I assume (on AIX ) I should "tar xvf Java14_64.sdk.tar".
then I get extracted "Java14_64.sdk"
Is this ok?

and finally issued

FROM tthe first part the regexp replace part gets the text between a start and end point you mentioned that would be <A and </A>
the regexp substr just looks for the phrase oracle.com in the text between those two points.

There is no other way to extract code besides using snippets.
You can find lots of information here regarding LabVIEW training including online options. You can also go through the tutorials that ship with LabVIEW.

How do I find and install the new Watermark plug-in?
I'm using Ps CC and have discovered that there is some kind of new watermark plug in but I can't find it, plus I can't find the plug-in installer. I already have my watermark designed, but I want to batch process addding it to multiple folders at a time. I've tried some action sets I found, but there must be some tricks I don't know. I did find one plug in (Adobe watermark 222) but I get an error message when I try to run it. Says it's only good for versions between 12 and 14???

I did successfully install the digimarc plug-in months ago.Digimarc is a plug-in that places an invisible watermark into your images. I think what you may be referring to when you write new kind of watermark you may be referring to the Watermark panel for CS5, CS6 and CC which add your visible watermarks to image. There is nothing new about visible watermarks and IMO the panel is a hassle to use. Its easer to create an action that will watermark any size image and use it then maintain different size watermarks to be applied by some Photoshop panel or go through multiple steps in a panel. Codecs MPEG4 + AMR-NB.. how to find and install on mac ?

HTC has given me the answer concerning the videos compressed on the HTC HD while recording with the camera. The codecs are : MPEG4 + AMR-NB, extension mp4
I would like to work thoses videos on Imovie (08) and therefore I need the codecs to be installed on the mba (mac Book air)
I Have the Codec Pack 'flip for mac' and 'Perian' .. but none of them has it seems the AMR-NB
Does anyone know where to find and how to install this particular codec on macOsx 10.5.6 ?

CheersThe Hitachi is not supported by iMovie which is probably why you are having problems. MP4 should be OK, so the AMR-NB audio codec could be the culprit. This is a very low quality audio compression codec generally used on older cell phones.
One thing you might try (shot in the dark). Make a copy of your file. Then change the name of the file extension from .mp4 to .3gp
See if the file with the 3gp extension will open in QuickTime Player.
If it will, see if you can open it in MPEG Streamclip. From there you can export it to a supported codec like h.264 (video), AAC (audio).
You also might try [VLC|http://wiki.videolan.org/Main_Page]
I have no experience with it, but if you need it, it might be worth figuring out how to install it.

How to export and import the Portal Components

I had developed few components like (Forms, Reports, Frames etc.,) in Oracle Portal release 2. Now, I need to make available all the components on my Client's machine. I like to know how to export and import these components.

Thanks in Advance...The migration of any Portal DB provider components, has the following steps.
Assume that you are migrating a form component form_X.
1) Click the export link of the form_x.
(this will take you to create transport screen).
2) Specify a name of the transport set which you are going to create. (eg., "My form_X transportset")
(Since the objects are migrated using a container which is in other words called as 'Transport Set').
3) In that select the export now button.
(this will mark your form component form_X for export).
4) Verify that the status of the transport is 'Extract Complete'
(check with the browse transport screen in Export/Import Portlet under Admin tab).
5) Now, the object information is extracted into transport set tables used by Portal Export/Import Utility.
6) Go to that particular transport set, (browse transport) and download the script available.
7) That script will lead you to various steps,
(create a dump ).
8) In the target instance, import that dump using the same script again.
9) Merge the contents of the dump (form_X information) into any of the application.
(Import option => in the export/import portlet under admin tab).
10) Verify that the status of the transport set is 'Merge Complete'.
Now, the object is migrated and ready for use.

The application runs queries to fetch data from database in SQL server 2008, and for that I am using a Microsoft SQL Native Client 2008 R2 64 bit ( this is the only version that installs on either PC, even the one on which I developed my LV Application).
I am not using any driver, only toolkits for reports - and for that I un-checked the "Remove unused polymorphic VI instances" when making the executable, otherwise LV throws up an exception that share variable are not being included.
Yes I did reboot every time after I ran the installation.
Still getting the same error. -

i know this is proballly simple but i have an arraylist where every time someone connects to my system it adds them to an arraylist, how can i post back somelike like hi user "1" thanks for connecting and so on. i just dont understand how to find their unique posistion in the array list and display it as a number.

You have an arraylist of connections .... for example
ArrayList<ConnectedPeople> connPplArr = new ArrayList();And then each time someone connects you would add a connected people object to the arraylist.
ConnectedPeople, migh contain username etc etc.
You could then do:

int index = connPplArr.indexOf( newConnection );
if(int == -1){
add them to your array
index = connPplArr.size();
return "Hello user "+ index;That what you mean?

Actually, it IS possible to install STP2 from the original Logic Studio (Logic 8) installer (using Pacifist), and it does seem to run OK in Mountain Lion (though I have not done much with it since I have STP3):
Waveburner 1.5.2 and 1.6.1 also run.
That said, there were/are a couple of *really nasty* bugs in STP 2, particularly regarding the Noise Print/Noise removal process. STP 3 is much much better.
Perhaps the OP can track down a Logic Studio 2 boxed set, and gain the benefit of STP 3?
