How to find Bidding engine installed.....???

Hi
Got a basic doubt to know on how to find a Bidding engine is installed and licenced by seeing the config in the server.
Is there any config to find this?
Because I can see the links "Create Bid invitation", "Process bids", etc, even without Bidding engine licence.
Please correct me if I am wrong..

Thanks a lot for your help.
That means even without a Bidding engine license, one can create Bid invitation but cannot publish it. In that case if any one try to publish the Bid invitation then a mail will not be sent to vendor to respond to the bid.
Am I correct? If not please correct me.
Why I am asking this is, I was asked to check if bidding is installed on a SRM server as they want to check the bidding functionality. After checking, I noticed that someone played with that Dev box and created some Bid Invitations from Sourcing cockpit and all bids are in Held status. But I could not find "Process Bid Invitations" link in Purchaser menu. That could be because of not adjusting the menu for Purchaser role. I did not check in depth.
Also client wants to create Bid invitation manually without SC. For this "Process Bid Invitations" link is necessary through which a manual Bid invitation can be created.So I got a doubt whether Bidding is Licensed. If so what is the indication.
Can you tell me what part of bidding functionality that I cannot perform without Bidding license.

We have Windows machine - 64 bit - x64. So, we can install either 32 bit or 64 bit sap software, both are supported, right. Now, a sap system is already installed on this machine and i would like to find out whether the sap software is 32 bit or 64 bit, how can i check?
I have already seen under Menu System - Status - Other Kernel Info & at OS level, with the command disp+work but i cant find the info iam looking for.

No need to know WHO install it but is it possible to know the Host name that SQL installed in?!
You asked for "who", not for "where".
You can use MS MAP =
Microsoft Assessment and Planning Toolkit : "Software Usage Tracker Feature Overview ....
SQL Server" to get reports, which software is running on which machine.
Or you can use this PowerShell Script
Create Inventory of SQL Server in Network as Html
For both you need permissions to fetch the required information from all machines, of course.

There are several places where you can check.
1.You can check in the User administration also. Go to User administration tab and search for a specific end user . In the result there is one column Datasource. If portal is installed on ABAP the column shows as ABAP.
2.You can check it in the System Administration --> System Configuration -->UME Configuration

                  I am working on a PM requirement and need to extract the equipments installed at a functional location . The Functional location table is IFLOT and Equipment master is EQUI . I dont find any direct link between these 2 tables .Please guide me as to how to go about the process .

            The view VIAUF_AFVC is for maintenance orders and operations. I tried giving my functional location on the selection screen and checked for the contents , but it says no entries found. Probably this table will get populated only when a maintenance order is issued.
   I need to find out the equipments at a given functional location . Is there any other way ?

How to find "Archive and Install" after Tiger reinstall?

I have recently reinstalled Tiger and have gone what I believe is the right steps for Archiving. Now I didn't know that is would effect the current programs on my computer like it has. Many will now not work properly or even open at all. Are these files or the information for the programs somewhere else? If so How do I find then and get back the programs like they used to be?

Hi there.
You can figure this out at different places.
The easiest one is usually to have a look into the KNLDIAG/KNLMSG file, since the platform and processor architecture is written into this file during startup. So you can find it rather at the beginning of the file.
Then you can (at least with MaxDB >= 7.5) use the registry of installed software:
sdbregview -l
will print out a list of all the installed MaxDB components including the Bit-range.
I guess these two should do for starters.

Not quite the answer you are looking for but if you only want a GUI for mysql you might want to try phpmyadmin instead http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/index.php
Webmin is a great admin tool for numerous applications but phpadmin is a great tool for mysql administration that does not require you to learn all of the nuances of Webmin.
FWIW I have both installed and really like Webmin for it's versatility but find phpmyadmin much simplere to learn and use.

It actually would have almost worked except for the odd line breaks and the messed up items in the switch statements. I also added the output of the variable $b to the end to show it working.
