How to find Device ID?

How do I find the device ID of my CAN card and RIO card (or for anything else)?
I use MAX 4.5 and LabView 8.6.
Thanks.

Hello moonlotus,
Here is a community example that allows you to identify the DAQmx devices on your system programmatically in LabVIEW.  here is an example that allows you to determine both traditional DAQ and DAQmx devices on the system, which your devices are DAQmx.
Your best bet is to take a look at these examples, and try to implement a DAQmx Device Property Node as you see fit for your application.

  • How to find device neighbors from the asdm interface for the pix

I am able to get to my pix using the asdm, I looked around the interface did not see where it can show me other cisco devices on the network? trying to get my topology going. I am thinking it should be on there somewhere just like on the router there is a show neighbor command.

Cisco firewalls do not do CDP if that is what you are looking for.
If this is eigrp or ospf neighbor then, you can do that via CLI.
Once you telnet or ssh to the firewall you can issue "sh eigrp nei" or "sh ospf nei"

  • HT204074 I have been reading about how to associate devices with my Apple ID, and the info says I can go to my account through iTunes to find "Manage Devices" but that does not exist. Either it was phased out our there are other ways to get there, but can

I am trying to find out about all my associated devices. I recently got a message that I had used my last device, and am not sure how this can be. The instructions for accessing the info via the iTunes account info page apparently were not shared with the programmers since there is no Manage Devices button or option as far as I can see. How do I do this?

After hours and hours of failed searches, I must have used a different keyword in my Google search, and here is the website that I was looking for:
    https://supportprofile.apple.com
And here is the guy whose website I found that helped me solve my problem:
    http://www.marcomc.com/2011/01/how-to-find-the-list-of-my-apple-registered-produ cts/
I was going to rant here about how badly Apple designed their "Apple Id" stuff, how they strongly distinguish between using your Apple Id at the online Apple Store vs. using it at the App Store (which you have to get to via iTunes ... quite ridiculous) ... but I won't.  :-)
Anyway, I hope that the two previously mentioned websites will be of help to others.

    Hi,
If you have made a backup at any time of your iPod in iTunes, it should be in Preferences, under Devices tab.
    In iTunes
    Open iTunes Preferences.
From the Preferences window click on the Devices.
Once you are there you should see a list under "Device Backups:".
Hover your mouse pointer to the device and in a little while it should display the serial number of the device (with an iPhone it will also display a phone number used with it and the IMEI code and with an iPad it will display the IMEI in addition to the serial number).

  • How to find which devices are still using affected domain controller

    Hi Everyone,
We have a 5 Domain controller's in a Site. And we are going to decommisson one of our affected DC in a site.
Can you please let me know how to find  the log files to see which devices are still using this domain controller.
    Regards,
    Neel kamal

    Neel,
From strictly an Active Directory perspective, there is nothing special you need to do to decommission a domain controller in a site.  There are many processes that automatically balance out and recreate connections as needed without any user intervention.
The DC Locator process will automatically direct clients to active domain controllers, there is nothing you need to do here.
What you need to be concerned with are things like the following:
DNS - Are you running AD integrated DNS and is the DC you are decommissioning hosting that roll - if so, is it the ONLY DC in the
site that is running DNS?  You'll need at least one in the site.
DHCP server - Is the DC you are demoting a DHCP server?  You'll need to account for that.
Global Catalog - Is the DC you are demoting a Global Catalog server?  You'll need at least one in the site.
File Shares - Is the DC hosting any files shares?  You'll need to move those and make sure you redirect your clients.
Was this DC a set as a Preferred Bridgehead Server?  You'll need to undo that first.
Those are the big ones that come to mind.  Decommissioning a DC is easy if you have prepared properly.  The others that have replied have offered some great advice which you should follow.  Do your homework and you should be fine.
    Hope that helps

  • Find out how much each device is downloading

    Hi All,
Is there an easy way to find out how much each device on the network is using (Such as Laptop, Youview box, Xbox, PS3 etc) as i am just curious as to how much i am actually downloading per month.
Surely you must be able to get the stats out of the router or modem?

How to Find EOL/EOS of Devices

When a device End of Life / End of Sales announcement is made, the product information page is updated with that announcement. For the 6509-E chassis, that chassis is still sold so there is no EoS/EoL notice for it.
Many of the older supervisors and line cards for the 6500 series chassis have been discontinued and they can be seen in the listing here:

  • How to find my iPod 4 without any Apple devices

My iPod went missing early this morning and I have no locator app on it but only my AppleID on it I've been trying to use my tablet to find ways but nothing it working... I even tried using the cloud website but was told that the page wasn't viewable I need some serious help

No app on the iOS device is required.
    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod/iPhone/iPad on the iOS device in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected or cellular data is on and connected for, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or continue to show off-line. You may not be able to do it on a tablet
    - You can also wipe/erase the iOS device and have the device play a sound via iCloud.
    iCloud: Erase your device
    iCloud: Use Lost Mode
    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the device and report to police and carrier if iPhone or cellular iPad
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the erase (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 or later on the device. With iOS 7 or later, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

    Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • Is it possible to have your whole family on one apple id or is it better to have each person have there own? If each has their own does each id have to buy their own music and apps? How does find my iphone work with one apple id or two?

Is it possible to have your whole family on one apple id or is it better to have each person have there own? If each has their own does each id have to buy their own music and apps? How does find my iphone work with one apple id or two? also I am going to be going off to college soon should I make an itunes id for my self and how will I get all the music from the old id?

Is it possible to have your whole family on one apple id or is it better to have each person have there own?
Yes, it is possible. 1 apple ID can be associated with up to 10 devices.
If each has their own does each id have to buy their own music and apps?
    Yes, all purchases are non-transferable.
How does find my iphone work with one apple id or two?
Every device associated with one apple ID through Find my iPhone is tied to that Apple ID; Find my iPhone will work in the same way with up to ten devices associated with one apple ID. You cannot enable Find my iPhone for one device across two apple IDs
I am going to be going off to college soon should I make an itunes id for my self and how will I get all the music from the old id?
If you have authorized a computer with the old apple ID, you can transfer old media purchased through the old to other devices via iTunes. This doesn't mean the media purchases through the old apple ID it transferred to the new account. If you plan to make future purchases and don't wish to share them with others, make your own apple ID.
