How to Find fonts in a FM10 document

Could a fellow FM10 user tell me how I could search a document to find a particular font. The reason I want to do this is I have inherited a rather long document and have discovered (visually) a number of fonts that should have not been used. I suspect that there are more which just visual inspection would not reveal. I had hoped FM would have a function like Edit > Find/Change <a font name> but it does not appear to be this straightforward.

Use the Fonts pod (View > Pods > Fonts...) to see what fonts are being used in the document, e.g.
Highlight the font you wish to find/change and eithr click on the Font replace button (the "A" with the swooping arrow under it) or double click on the font name.
You will then get the Font Replace panel, which shows you all instances of the font usage in the document, e.g.
Double-clicking on the entries here will move the insertion point to the location where the font is being used.
After inspecting, you can the decide if you want to do a global replacement using the Font Replace panel. Note: this works very well.

In application area FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING , go for node LINE ITEM. Here create a step & maintain the prerequisite as per your requirement & in the check you can mention the code or you can direct it to a custom program like ZFI_RGGBR000.
Here while maintaining the check you will get structures BKPF & BSEG in which you will get the desired field you are looking for.
Just try to explore in your system how the other validations are maintained.
After you are done with all your code, you have to run the regeneration program RGUGBR00.
Here utmost care should be taken while running regeneration program, you should select all the checkboxes in the selection screen except GENERATE SETS, GEN SUBSTN ROUTNS IN ALL CLNTS & TRACE PROG. GENERATE CALLS .

can someone explain me how to find the reight KOSTL for every Single Document/Invoice. Because the Filed within BSEG does not always contain

this is exactly the point. I am trying to Extract towards BW with the
0FI_GL_4 Datasource all Items for Debits / Kredits whisch are mostly coming from the (BSID/BSAD) / (BSIK/BSAK) but for the most records i do not have a Costcenter. But what i know is that for example Items with the KOART 'A' Assets have a costcenter assigned somwehere in the table ANLZ. What i am looking for are the rules with which i can get
the KOSTL the diffrent KOART's in the BSEG.
Which tables and conditions do provide the KOSTL for
KOART EQ 'A' / 'S' / 'M' / 'D' or 'K'. I am new to FI and do not exactly
now the relations / tables.
With that information i will enhance my Extract to that selection logic and i will be fine

You are going to do that for each page? You might be better off with using the Preflight panel. "Page size" can be flagged as an error, so you get a nice linked list.

How to find font in Indesign, which is in Windows Font Folder?

I need to use Monotype Sorts font.
This font was not in the Indesign list of fonts.
I bought the font and downloaded it to a file on my hard drive.
It is called Monotype_sorts.ttf
I then went to Windows Font Folder in Cpanel and installed it.
I then followed advice I found on the web and copied the font to the Adobe/Indesign CS5/ Fonts folder.
However I still can't see the font within Indesign in order to use it.
Any help would be very much appreciated as I need to try and work this out very quickly.
I'm on Windows Vista.

That was some bad advice you got there. Indesign is fully able to use all of your installed fonts -- the ones in Windows. Only a very few specialized types of fonts that cannot be installed in Windows need to go into ID's "private" Fonts folder. (And another reason would be you want to keep your Windows system 'clean'.)
The problem may very well be that InDesign now sees two versions of the same font, and refuses to let you select either, just to make things not too complicated. So delete the font in one of your locations.

To further clarify Harsha's point about the reference key, the Recon Key is part of the the Reference Key, i..e. it is embedded in the Reference Key, the first 12 characters of the Reference Key is the recon Key.
IS-U transaction FPG1 shows the linkage between the the FI-CA documents and the GL Documents (for a different view).

We have tried the top 10 latest documents scenario by changing default sort field as <b>cm_rating</b>.But it showing the latest rated documents not highest rated documents.
Is there any way to do this, please suggest any documents or ideas?

Hi,
A simple method to do that is use taxonomies.
You can create un index using Trex Search and Classification service.
After that, you create its taxonomies (query based), you must create excellent, good, fair, poor and very poor folders.
Using Taxonomy Query Builder iview you classify it in this way:
Excellent folder --> IF rating is Excellent
so on....
IF rating is Good
IF rating is Fair
IF rating is Poor
IF rating is Very Poor
Then, using layout set you can show top 10 for instance.
Don't forget to active rating service in your repository.

This output file is located on the server.
Could any one let me know from which tables i could get the document id and the node id of the node where this document resides if it does in the Oracle Document Management System.

On the Concurrent Requests table (FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS), the OUTFILE_NODE_NAME and OUTFILE_NAME indicate where the output file is stored. As far as I know, this is only on the server running the concurrent manager and not in the Oracle Document Manager System.
What are you trying to do with your output? If you are simply trying to provide access to it, you might be able to construct a URL similar to the standard concurrent request completed notification (basic email which provides a link to the output of the completed request).

Annabelle, a non scripting solution is the following.
You cannot search for words with multiple fonts. However, since you can search for words in one font, you can exclude 'good' ones.
I will be assuming you have a regular document, with just black text ...
In Search & Replace, GREP, search for "\b\w+\b" with a font style of "Regular" and replace with formatting: text color red. Be sure not to accidentally put anything in the replace text field -- it should be entirely empty. Now all entirely Regular words are red.
Repeat with the font style "Italic". Now all words that are entirely Regular or Italic are in red.
Search for "\b\w+\b" with a text color of Black. This will find all words that are neither entirely in Italic nor entirely in Regular.
In case you never used it before, the GREP expression means "a word boundary -- one or more word characters -- a word boundary". Essentially, it does a 'Find entire word' for any length of words.
Note that if you have words in, say, bold, bold italic, or 46 Light Italic, you will have to mark these as well with the check colour, or else you'll also find them 'bad'.
You might want to create a new swatch for marking, so you can delete it afterwards, replacing with Black again.

This issue occurs with most of the PDFs that I open up. I am using the latest version of adobe reader on my windows based machine and it is a general PDF. I saw a similar post online stating that if you look at the fonts used in the document and it doesn't say (Embedded) next to it, then Adobe Reader will try to pull the font(s) from your computer and if it doesn't find that font then it will replace it which makes it look funny.

Can anyone tell how to find the the fonts used in the document directly without iterating through the text art used in the document.BCOZ if i iterate through each text frame or character my plugin works very slowly.I want to speed up the process of finding & replacing the fonts like wat we do manually in the "Type-> Find Font" menu thru my code.
Please post ur comments on this .If there is no direct option to find &replace the fonts used in the document ,pls let me know the simplest logic of finding & replacing all occurances of a font in a doc so that my process of doing this should be faster.

As far as I know, there's no way to get a list of fonts in use in a document without iterating over the document and compiling a list by asking every piece of art.
If you want to trigger 'Type > Find Font' there might be a way to invoke that using Actions (AIActionManager.h). I'm not sure if that would help or not though.
This probably isn't very helpful depending on what you're doing, but I think this is meant to be handled by using character styles. That way you can change a style and update any related text instantly. Not much help though if you're just trying to write a S&R font plugin.

How to find Down Payment document with vendor details from AW01N

I am trying to do partial settlement in KO88, for AUC to Fixed Asset. While running the T Code I am getting the following error message.
Down payment to recipient 100620 0 area 01 amount   13,181,454.04 not cleared
Message no. AW605
I went through many threads for this issue and I am trying to clear the downpayment in F-54. But I am not able to find the Vendor details to whom the Down Payment was done, neither the dosument number against which the downpayment has to be cleared.
I tried finding these details in AW01N. I could find the amount reflecting in the Planned and Posted tab in the first section.
But was not succesful to find the documents and vendor details from there.
In the second section in Planned Tab, I am finding some transactions. There I am finding Down Payment mentioned. When I double click on Down Payment in AW01N, I am taken to the document which is a clearing of Down Payment. You can see the below entry.

Diagnosis
All downpayments were not cleared for the asset under construction for the receiver 100620 0 in area 01. An amount of   12,832,161.41 was not cleared, or too much was cleared.
You can only completely transfer an asset under construction if you reverse the down payments in the current fiscal year beforehand.
Procedure
Clear the downpayments that you want to settle to receiver 100620 0.

Unless you've done anything to change it, Google keeps every email that ever passes through their server in your All Mail folder/mailbox/label. Even if you delete stuff, they hold onto it, there. You have to go out of your way to actually delete anything permanently.
