How to find how much data is transferred. AT&T is putting a "Cap" of 150GB per month.
I hace heard there is a "Meter" available for ATT customers, but I can't find it. Does Firefox have this kind of information available?

Want to find out how much data a Web Service is sending to client (JWSDP)
Well, the subject line didn't fit what I was intended to say, so if you don't get what I am saying in the subject line, I am sorry.
My question is... I have a Web Service client that uses stub classes generated by wscompile in JWSDP. I am wondering, it there a way to find out how much data the Web Service is sending back to my client.
The reason I asked is this, I used WebLogic 7.0 workshop to create a Web Service and also used JWSDP to create the same Web Service which deploys to Tomcat. The generated WSDL files from WebLogic workshop and JWSDP that expose the same functionalities have differences. The WSDL from WebLogic workshop is 1.5 times the size of the WSDL from JWSDP. When I tested both with client programs, calling the Web Service in Tomcat (which uses JWSDP to built) is much quicker than calling the Web Service in WebLogic.
For this reason, I would liked find out if the Web Service from WebLogic is sending more data than the one created with JWSDP.
Thanks.I've used the TcpTunnelGui utility to see the HTTP flowing up and down the wire, that might help you.

Is there a way to find out how much data was used over the lifetime of my phone (cumulative cellular and wifi)?
I was just curiousGiven that the phone doesn't track how much data is used over WiFi, no. And cellular data usage can be reset.

Find out how much data is in a certain table
Hi experts,
I have deleted a lot of entries in a certain table by running the reorganisation-reports in SAP.
Now I know that the table do not change its size because of the HWM. So new data in the table will be inserted in the freed blocks. Now I would like to know how much data remained in the table.
So e.g. the table was 100 GB the size before reorganisation. Now I have deleted a lot of entries and I would like to know, how much data remained in the table. I know that I can find out the average line size and number of entries in DB02old but this is imprecise for me.
Any idea?Hi,
you can use the PL/SQL procedure DBMS_SPACE.SPACE_USAGE for that, if your tablespace is created with auto segment space management.

HT201493 How much data does find a friend use?
I can I gauge how much data I am using for its app
You would have to be running iOS 7 to do that. If you were, you would go to Settings>Cellular, scroll to the bottom and tap "Reset Statistics", then use the app for a few days and to back to Settings>Cellular and it would show how much data that each app had used underneath the app name (in the "Use cellulare data for") section.

How can I find out how much data an update takes
I have only limited access to data, unless I'm paying big overage charges. Thereforre I want to know before hand how much data i will download with each update. No information appears to be available when you want to update your pages, numbers or keynotes. This applies to apps in MAC. I operate wit Yosemite OS X. on on a 27inch Mac #)^ GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo. any info would be great. Thanks.
Besides the good ideas given so far, you could look into a few Support
Sites for information such as the App Store as suggested to read each
item that appears to be available for your existing system version...
And consider looking through this page and adjoining links within it for more:
•OS X - Recent Software Updates - Apple Support:
http://www.apple.com/support/osx/software-updates/
I've been fairly aware of the limitations and bandwidth overage charges or
a reduction in available access to the internet when & if one runs over...
And there is plenty of useless stuff loaded in web pages that can waste it.
Hopefully you have a good archive to save the important download versions
(& backups) so you may be able to use them again offline, when possible.
Good luck & happy computing! -
i have downloaded the new itunes on to my computer, but cant find where it says how many songs you have and how much data they will take up on my phone. thanks
Just a comment that the playlist size only shows in List View (not Grid or Artist view).

If I understand correctly what you're referring to, View menu -> Show Status Bar.
For some peculiar reason this option does not show up for me (11.0.1). I do see the "status bar" (i.e. size) of playlists at the bottom of each, and I know that I've seen this setting, but this View option seems to have vanished! -
How much data does Assisted GPS use
Guys
I'm planning a trip into Europe, we will of course be taking a TomTom, but in the event that I need OVI maps, could you tell me how much data AGPS uses.
O2 charge £6.00 per mb, so I don't want to come home and find a massive bill waiting for me.Usually when I try to use it, I use about 6-15mb per fix. It doesnt use A-GPS again after getting a fix unless satellite signals fail.

How much data does a call use over 3G?
Does anyone know how much data a call uses when using 3G?
For example if I made a 10min call over 3G is there an easy way to estimate how much data it would use?I'd check my balance, make a call, then check the balance again. That should give a fair indication.
I'm a light user and find Tesco's SIM-only deal (500mins, 500MB, 500texts) is way more than adequate for my basic mobile needs for a tenner a month. Worth considering.

How can i see how large an app is and how much data is stored
In ios7 I could select an app and see it's size and how much data is stored in using it on my iPhone.
I can't seem to locate that option in ios8.1
to refresh and app I had the option of deleting it and reinstalling before based on the information held by the app.
is this clear?
MyFitnessPal is taking a long time to load, thought I would see how large the app is and how much info is stored
but as I've redundantly stated here I can't find that option in my phone now.
thanks in advance for any help you can offer
iPhone 5 iOS8.1For reference in iOS 7 it is under Settings app > General > Usage.
According to the manual iOS 8 is the same…
http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1565/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf
(page 177)
Usage information
View cellular usage. Go to Settings > Cellular. See Cellular settings on page 179. View other usage information. Go to Settings > General > Usage to:
Display battery level as a percentage
See Battery Usage, including the elapsed time since iPhone has been charged and usage by app
View overall storage availability and storage used per app
View and manage iCloud storage
For me it take a few seconds to load, you may find that the app is being slow to open if it is still downloading some data for it's own caches etc. Try to ensure it has a good internet connection. Obviously it could just be that the service in question is also having issues, so consult their support too. -
How much data roaming do i need?
Hello.
I'm going to be taking my US (ATT) iphone 4S to Europe for 9 days. I'll be using it for work/play so want to make sure i have enough data. The biggest bundle ATT offers is 800 megs, for $120. Just wondering if this will be enough for average to slightly above average usage for about 9 days.
Thanks in advanceProbably not a question anyone here could answer, at least not for you specifically. Check your bill and/or use history to find out how much data you typically use (and then factor in whether or not you think you will use more while traveling). For myself, it would probably be fine, but while I'm in Europe, I'm too busy to spend much time on a phone.

Can i view how much data my ipad has used?
Altho I am on an unlimited internet package I am shocked at the daily usage figures. Especially as I only watch about an hour of streamed TV per day.
I'd like to see how much data streaming is happening on my daughter's iPad mini - right before I go and find a method to time restrict the device!
Thanks in advance
TCSettings>Cellular/Mobile
Here you can check the amount of data being used. I would suggest to reset the statistics (bottom of the page) then monitor the usage. -
In the old version of Firefox Sync you can see what data was uploaded, with the next Sync I see nothing and when I got my account on the website Firefox, I don't see nothing just a sign in and change password screen. Would there be more there soon?
Hi Kurbo,
Please do leave feedback for the developers at input.mozilla.org, currently there is not a feature that shows how much data or what data is uploaded.
However if you are handy at picking up apis there are some apis that can be read about [https://blog.mozilla.org/services/2014/05/08/firefox-accounts-sync-1-5-and-self-hosting/ here] -
Why do I have to guess how much data I might use in a month when I select a plan?
When I sign up for water service, I don't guess that I might use 1,000 gallons a month, and then pay three times the going rate for water if I take a few extra showers. I get charged for how much water I use that month.
When I sign up for electricity service, I don't guess that I might use some set number of kilowatt hours, and then pay three times the going rate if we have a heat wave and I run my air conditioner for a few extra hours.
Why do I have to guess how much data I might use, and then spend three times the going rate if I stay up watching youtube videos for a few extra nights?
It is stressful to have to constantly monitor usage, and figure out ratios of how much I've used compared to how much time is left in the billing cycle to see if I need to curb my usage. It is not a good customer experience. I would prefer that data be charged a flat rate based on actual usage, perhaps with an option to throttle speeds at certain levels to prevent cases where a minor lapse in judgment could ruin my monthly budget, like forgetting to check data usage religiously on a device meant to simplify my life.
Thank you for your consideration.Simple answer is Verizon is offering a block of data for usage.
Where I live the water bill states my wife and I are being charged for 30,000 gallons per quarter/half and the price is say $60 however we never use any where near that amount. I send the meter reading in and it shows the amount we use. But the hamlet we are in has a set amount of gallons. Not fair but we live with it.
For your data outside of the unlimited which is not available any more to new customers you may be a light user and never go over the 2GB for $30 dollars a month. If you do you will pay through the nose for data. If you pay for more data say 4GB and I don't have the price for it so lets say its $70 then you don't have to watch as much for overage fees. But you are paying for the data in advance so as not go over and get hit with whopping fees.
It is just the way it is. -
