How to find if two polygons are partially over Lapp

Hi,
i need to find if two polygons are partially over lap. For example if the polygons overlap at least in 60% pod their area.
Is there a way to do this using the spatial cartridge?
thanks

You can use sdo_geom.sdo_area(...) to find out the areas of polygon 1 and 2, and sdo_intersection to find out the overlapping geometry:
a1 := sdo_geom.sdo_area(p1,tolerance);
a2 := sdo_geom.sdo_area(p2,tolerance);
ai :=  sdo_geom.sdo_area(sdo_geom.sdo_intersection(p1,p2,tolerance));
check if (ai/a1) or (ai/a2)  is greater than 0.6

    Photoshop CS4- Does anyone know how to tell if two people are using same file?

    Hi,
    Thanks for your response. I'm not the solution in the link.
    The problem that I am having at work it that several people in our department want to be able to update a file, but we want to be sure that no one else is currently editing that file. If someone has the file open, it's helpful to know the user's name so we can talk about when the next person can edit the file. This works in Excel files that we use, and I would love to find out how to do it in Photoshop and Illustrator.
    Thanks for the help!

    You may want to copy this and add it to your toolkit
    See 'What's at the End of the File?' in this Tom Kyte article from the Sept 2004 Oracle Magazine
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/issue-archive/o54asktom-086284.html
    And this AskTom blog shows you how to generate a script containing ALTER statements toresize your datafiles to the smallest possible. You can 'pick and choose' from the ALTER statements to do what you want.
    Then of course, you can use techniques from this article by Oracle ACE, and noted author, Jonathan Lewis

  • How to find out if there are repeated characters in a string

    hey guys
    well i kinda have a little problem figuring out how to find out
    if there are repeated characters in a string.
    if anyone can help, would appreciate it.
    thanks
    milos

    Try using the StringTokenizer class. if u already know which character to trace. this could do the job.
    eg. String str = "here and there its everywhere";
    StringTokenizer st = new StringTokenizer(str, "e");
    int rep = st.countTokens();

    Hi there,
    How to find out which users are using SharePoint Designer to make changes in SharePoint 2010 site?
    Thanks.

    You need to enable auditing on SharePoint server and it will let you know, if someone makes any critical changes for the same.
    Please walk through this informative KB to enable auditing on SharePoint :https://support.office.com/en-za/article/Configure-audit-settings-for-a-site-collection-f5a346d0-ee0f-4412-a5e6-d9b5abaa1012

    how to find that 2 references are pointing to same obejct??
    i feel that hashCode and equals will not work as far as i understood from javadoc

    I wnat to know above because i want to check if ps in
    this loop is same object or on each iteration new
    object is created
    for (int i = 0; i < 10 ;i ++)
    PreparedStatement ps = con.prepareStatement(sql);
    ps.setInt(1,i);
    ps.executeUpdate();}
    Here's a better question. Why in the world did you put that statement in the loop in the first place, unless the variable 'sql' is modified within?

  • How to find which component has a partial trigger to a specific component

    Hi,
    Not sure if this question has been posted earlier. Apology for repeating, but I need to know how to do this and could not find the answer by searching the forum.
    I want to know if there is a way to find out what all components that use a specific component in its partial trigger. So lets say I have two selectoneChoice.
    <af:selectOneChoice id="soc1" autoSubmit="true"
    value="parent"
    />
    <af:selectOneChoice id="soc2" autoSubmit="true"
    value="child1" partialTriggers="soc1"
    />
    <af:selectOneChoice id="soc3" autoSubmit="true"
    value="child2" partialTriggers="soc1"
    />
    There is the soc2.getPartialTriggers() method that gives on the partialtriggers on soc2. However, I want to know how can soc1 know who all are using it as their partialTriggers.
    Appreciate any clues and help.

    because i want to add a common valuechange listener method in my backing bean on the parent component that will update all its child components with a specific same value.

  • How to find out which queries are being used ?

    We have a number of InfoSet Queries which the users are calling from SQ00. Some of them are very old.
    I would like to find out which queries are being used, so we can have the idle queries decommissioned.
    How can this be done ?
    Best regards,
    Peter

    Hi,
    It's been a while since I've done this but one method is to use ST03N & look for the execution of programs with an AQ* prefix.  The general structure is AQZZ/<query user group><query name>.
    You could probably get the same info from the audit log but I've not checked that.
    Cheers,

  • How to find out which jobs are connected to the user

    Hello, i have a question, but i was unable to find the answer. The problem is that our internal consultant left the company, and there are certain jobs that run under his account. We want now to switch this jobs to other accounts. The problem we are facing is how to find out what jobs, or job steps are connected with his account, so we can safely demote his account, so that no other jobs will be run under his account. Thank you very much
    Sincerely,
    Luka Prijic

    the only reliable way to do this is by scanning table TBTCP using the person's userID in field AUTHCKNAM and filtering by job statuses: scheduled, released, ready and active (sorry I can't remember the code#'s off top of my head, something like P=scheduled, S=scheduled...you have to look it up).   When you search SM37 it only permits you to scan by the userID who created the job, but it won't tell you if a different userID is defined in a job step.  That's why you need to scan TBTCP.  Don't forget that you should also check for a user's open Workflow items before deletion.
    I noticed some posts in this forum that suggest a userID should never be deleted, only locked, added to a special user group, and all role assignments removed.  However I've never worked somewhere that does this.

  • How to find which junk characters are there in the string

    Hi Guys in my employee table ,I have a field name emp_name
    and the data inside one of the record is 'BUSH ';
    after trimming it ... length(trim(emp_name)) ... I expected the length to be 4,but it still returns 5.So I am wondering what that extra characters after H is.
    Can some one tell me how to find it.
    thanks in advance.

    Hmmm. What you describe is not the behaviour I would expect from a CHAR(10) column. I would expect this:
    SQL> CREATE TABLE bt (col1 CHAR(10));
    Table created.
    SQL> INSERT INTO bt VALUES ('BUSH ');
    1 row created.
    SQL> SELECT length(col1) FROM bt;
    LENGTH(COL1)
              10
    SQL> SELECT length(trim(col1)) FROM bt;
    LENGTH(TRIM(COL1))
                     4
    SQL> What version of the database are you using? Also, what does this query give you?
    SELECT ascii(substr(ename, 5,1))
    FROM emp
    WHERE  substr(ename,1,4) = 'BUSH';Cheers, APC

  • How to find whether user exits are  used in the query or not??

    Hi ,
    I have to make the list of queris in which user exits are used.
    Please any body help me how to find the queries in which user exits are used.
    Thanks
    Maruthi

    Hi Maruthi,
    Using table RSZGLOBV you can find out the queries that have customer exit variables.
    Set filter VRPROCTP (processing type) = 3 means customer exit.
    and the field COMPID will give you the Query name.

  • How to check wwheter two files are the same?

    Hi,
    I need to check wheter two files are the same. Their names and paths may be different. How to do that? Do u have any links / examples?
    Important notice: Files used in the application will be big (ie 1, 2gb)

    Comparing a hash, if you have to calculate it each
    time, is bound to be slower than a byte by byte, or
    character by character compare.
    This kind of comparison is used mostly in things like
    content management systems, when a new file of data
    is checked to see if it's identical to a file already
    entered, hash values being stored for each file
    already in the system.
    And comparing the hashes can only prove the files are
    different, if the hashes are equal that doesn't
    absolutely guarantee that the files are the same.
    Normally you'd confirm a matching hash by actually
    comparing file content.Depends on how good your hash is..but in general...yes. I was only saying that it's faster if you're always maintaining a has of the file.
