How to find Installed EP bussiness packages

I have installed EP6 bussiness packeges , after installed where i can find my Installed bussines packages. What is the path to see that.Iam not able to find.

Hi Kristine,
If you're still not able to find your business package, you can try to use search functionality at pcd.
For example: If you've installed MSS and you can see from the documentation of the BP all the iViews it contains, you can try to search for iView named <i>Change Address</i>.. Just to give one example.
After your search returns you the iView you can chose option from right click menu "Locate from Portal catalog" and pcd will take you to the location where all the iViews are deployed.

hi,
you can find your imported BP in the following path.
Contentadmin->portalcontent->contentprovided by SAP->EnduserContent
it will be like com.sap.pct.ess.employee if it is a ESS BP.
Depending on the BP you can find it under
Contentadmin->portalcontent->contentprovided by SAP->Specalist also.

How to find the status of package (valid/invalid) was at a particular time ?
I want to find the status of one oracle package at 3pm yesterday. The status of this package today is INVALID.
I am sure it was VALID yesterday. But no way to prove it. Can any one help please???

Try using a flashback query, like this:
select object_name, object_type, status
from dba_objects AS OF TIMESTAMP (SYSTIMESTAMP - INTERVAL '18' HOUR) -- 18 hours ago
where object_name = 'MY_OBJECT'
;if you haven't granted FLASHBACK privs, you may need to connect as SYS to do a flashback query on a data dictionary table.
But this should give you the info you need - if it's still in undo.

Something really easy to differentiate the agents installed:
- 7.01-> /usr/sap/SMD/JXX
- 7.11 or 7.20 -> /usr/sap/DAA/SMDAXX

How to find out version, support package, patchlevel of installed j2ee as

Hello all
We have PI 7.11 installed and I'd like to know what the support package and patchlevel of our installed j2ee application server is. We would like to post-install NWDI and need to know which are the right SCA-Files for us to download.
Can anyone tell me where to find this information? I wasn't able to find it (maybe just didn't see it?)

From SAPGUI-Client I choose System -> Status and click on details button for SAP System data. Here I see:

I had a double check and you are right at least as far I can see the Software Inventory toll came only with WIN installation while you are running your BO on Linux.
What the Software Inventory Tool does it checks files version.
Now I'm not very smart with Linux but can you check file version in Linux?that could be an option (In WIN i check CMC.DLL)

How to find a missing moonlight package?

I installed monodevelop, mono, and moonlight. I created a new moonlight project in monodevelop, but all the assemblies it references are shown in red - missing - and an attempt to build it results in an error message that some moonlight/framework is not installed.
Evidently there is some other package I have to install, but I cannot find it neither repos or AUR. Can someone who develops moonlight help?

moonlight that was in community was very old and we couldn't compile because of [1] and i removed it couples of days ago because was broken since new ffmpeg hit extra

Is there any feature, which will log all the compilation time stamp of a particular package or package body.
If so, please provide the query.

You can check the same from ALL_OBJECTs/USER_OBJECTS/DBA_OBJECTS.
In this views,
column CREATED always shows its created date & time.
LAST_DDL_TIME always shows last compiled time also it change if you run create or replace

in java i want to find classes,Interface,Exception names which are presant

The exact problem is i hava set the path to my application that path contains several jar's(contains classes,Interfaces) and classes with package structure,
now my need is if i run the application ,the application
should find out the classes and Interfaces for given package structure which are present in classpath...
for this i have to load all the classes to memory(using classes loader) . then find out the classes which are present in memory...
or
any other inbuilt method is there in java when i give path structure it find and give classes which are in class path..
for ex..
if i set path to jdk
then if i give the path like java.lang
it should give me the out put as
String (or) String.class
Double
Cloneable
(classes & interface in that package)

How to re-install a provisioned package?

Hi,
I have installed an app using the command
Add-AppXProvisionedPackage -Online -PackagePath C:\Temp\ABC\XYZ\***.appxbundle -SkipLicense
Due to some reason I uninstalled the app by using the method
- On the Start screen, swipe down on or right-click the app you want to uninstall, tap or click Uninstall, and then tap or click Uninstall.
Then I tried to re-install it via the PowerShell with the same argument (Add-AppXProvisionedPackage -Online -PackagePath C:\Temp\ABC\XYZ\***.appxbundle -SkipLicense).
I got the following result:
Path :
Online : True
Restart Needed : False
But: there is no icon nor tile present after this action!
I searched my installed apps on the laptop, but the application is not present!
Not in my application list and also not when I try the Windows search. And it's not listed in my installed applications in the "add & remove programs" section.
How can i get the app installed once again? Any ideas?

Do you mean the app won`t be listed after performing a reinstallation even though with the same command line and installation command line worked before ,right ?
We can use the Get-AppxProvisionedPackage command line to get the installation information .

Have you checked the log for related information after performing the Add-AppXProvisionedPackage command line ?
The default log is located in this path :

How to find/install dvd player?

G4, 10.5.8. Stupidly downloaded a disk cloner from web and wiped out a fair amount of my applications including dvd player. I had backed-up with TM but after restarting from the 10.5 install disk withy TM running I didn't see restore as an option. So I reinstalled iLife from the disk and updated iTunes, found a driver for my HP printer etc. But DVD player is gone and the downloads I tried from Apple always give an error message and quit when I launch them after installation. Any ideas apart from a complete reinstall of 10.5.8?

Thanks for the help. I misread the instructions on Pacifist at first, couldn't get it to work on the update pkg and decided to simply install the combined upgrade. Took a long time, hung up at the end, worrsiome moments when I finally had to power off, but all was well. However, DVD player still gave an error message.
Then inserted the 10.5 install disk and used Pacifist to extract the DVD Player and replace the defective copy. Now it works, so it appears that the update package, unlike the install disk, simply contains a DVD player that is defective.
All is well now, more or less, except a few hours wasted.

I have developed a solution and deployed into the server. So, its under "Integration Services Catalog". I have created SQL server Agent job also to execute it.
Now, If anyone executes a package using SQL server Agent job or directly from the catalog, is it possible for me to see which package is running currently, using Management Studio? Is there any inbuilt stored procedure or Table or Function in SSISDB
to find out which package is running currently?
In SSISDB, there is a view called calalog.executions - Will that work? The description says, it displays the instances of package execution
in the Integration Services catalog. But I am not finding anything. Am I doing anything wrong?
We can right click the package and Go for 'Reports' --> Standard Reports - which is not permitted in my project. I would like to see using Management studio - SSISDB.
Please help me to find out.

There are many ways.
1- prtdiag -v must report
2- luxadm -e port must tell if all luxadm relevant patches are applied.
3- You can go to rear side and see with you eyes.
4- There are scripts lunmap/hbamap present on EIS cds from sun. These make good use of luxadm and others to report quite well on this.
5- prtconf should let you know.
6- Watching list of attached drivers must tell

How to find installed assets on mac in applicationdirectory

File.applicationDirectory—the read-only directory where the application is installed (along with any installed assets)
How do i get to this assets folders/files on a mac?
I tried the following, but i don't get a list of files.... it works on a windows machine..

Hi, i found my answer.
It turns out that mac doesn't use type. Instead i had to check on extension
contents[i].extension=="jpg"
How i found out? to alert some variables like this.
first i checked if the folder assets/folder1 exists
import mx.utils.ObjectUtil;
var directory:File = File.applicationDirectory;
directory = directory.resolvePath("gardenimages/"+foldername+"");
Alert.show("test:"+ObjectUtil.toString(directory));
It will get you a long list of info on the folder. by checking the nativepath, url and exists we can tell if the folder is there.
Now check the contents of that folder to see if the images are there.

for (var i2:int=0;i2<contents.length;i2++)
       sTemp += contents [i2].name + "\n";
       sTemp += contents [i2].exists + "\n";
