How to find language description?
Hi all, if I know the language key, how to find the description.
For example, the key is 'E', I want to find the description 'English'.
Many thanks in advance!
In the first LANGUAGE key pass the Language ID in which language you want the description.
In second language key pass the langauge id for which you want the description.
For Eg;
L! - E
L2 - E
output is ENGLISH.
LI - S
L2 - E
Output is Inglés

How to find the description of each parameter
how to find the use (specific) of a function module (specific purpose)
and
how to find the description ( specific purpose ) of each parameter present for a function module apart from the information tht we get from the export and import parameters descriptionHello,
usually function modules released for customer use have specific documentation. The ones waht do not have this, are buit only for SAP Internal use.
Usually you will not find documentation for these.

How to find out the description of a enumeration
Hi all, i need to find the description of the object and i don't have any idea. I try to explain better my problem.
I have different document of different type (17,15,22,ecc ecc) in a user table.
In Sap I need to show the content of this table but I won't to show the object code (17), i want to show the description (Sales Order).
Sap do this in the DRAFT form and I need the same thing. How can I do this?
PS
I try to use the function "ConvertValidValueToEnumValue" like in the sdk help, with C or S for BoCardTypes;it not return the description as understood by the image but 0 or 1. So I really haven't other idea.
Thank's all, Antonio.Hello Antonio,
you add it manually. this is the best (into your addon, you may write a function to do this). SAP does this and this is also translated to any versions.

How to find risk vulnerability description
Hello,
Do you know how to find description of database risk vulnerability prior to July 2008.
As they start with DB I can't find them in cve.mitre.org site.
Thanks,
RishiI do it all the time; however, the description is usually in upper and lower case. So in your example, if the desription were "Demo filight alv", you wouldn't get it.
I normally remove the first letter and anything else that might be upper case from my search. So I would search for:
emolight*
and then maybe
lightemo*

Unable to find "Language and Region" link
Hi,
I am trying to customize language and region settings via my MySite using the below link. I spent an hour yesterday trying to find "Language and Region" link in the Edit Profile page, however, I could not. Is there a feature I need to activate
to see this link or enable something in Central Admin?
I only see Basic Information, Contact Information, Details, and Newsfeed Settings.
http://community.bamboosolutions.com/blogs/sharepoint-2013/archive/2012/11/02/how-to-change-regional-settings-on-my-site-in-sharepoint-2013.aspx
Any suggestions?Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that you can't see the "Language and Region" link in mysite Edit Profile Page.
I suggest you can check if you have checked "Show on the Edit Details Page" in the Central Administrator ->Manage Service Application->User Profile Service Application->Manage User Properties->Language and Regions->All
child properties under Language and Region.
Thanks
Best Regards

Last edited by Inxsible (2011-03-27 04:40:49)I just checked my BIOS and my current setting is set at IDE although it also mentions that the default should be AHCI. Currently I have a dual boot of Windows 7 (need it for Tax software) and Arch
So I guess, when I get the new HDD, I will first set it to AHCI and then install the OSes on it. See if NCQ helps any, and if not I will turn it back and re-install (if I have to). I am planning to have Windows only in virtualbox in the new drive.
Anyhoo, while I was in the BIOS I found two things which I had questions about :
1) Under Onboard Devices --> Integrated NIC , my setting is currently set at "On w/PXE" and it says the default should be just "On". Would it be ok to change it back to On since its a single machine and its not booting an OS on any server. I just don't want to have to re-install anything now since I will be doing that in the new HDD.
2) How would I know whether my BIOS would support a 64 bit OS in Virtualbox? I checked some setting under Virtualization, but they weren't very clear.
I will edit this post and let you know exactly what settings were present under the Virtualization sub-section.
