How to find library for a report

Hi
I am suppose to change some thing in a report.We have lot of library and am not able to locate the one.I know the report name and trying to use GR32 but don't know the library name.Is there anyway to find out the lib name ?
I also want to copy the existing report .How to do that ?

After you execute the report, go to Extras-Technical Information. You will see there the Library name among other things.

Hi Gopal,
There is no concept of Variant in Webdynpro ABAP. But in our project we have some tool to do that. Its not release to the client I think. In my scenarieo, We create the Screen variant and program name will be supplied to the tool that will generate the ouput in PDF and Selection screen in One view. But the same is not avilable .
If you want the same concept in Webdynpro ABAP, you need to go for Dynamic programming only. This is the only option is avilable.

How to find TCodes for Config Transactions

Hi All,
How do I find the TCode for a Config Activitity node?
For example.
OX09 is for "Maintain Storage Location"
OB52 is for FI Period closing/opening
I know these from google search, but how do find tcodes for other IMG activity nodes?

Go to SPRO and in Menu Additional Information Click Display key and IMG activity then Sytem will show the SPRO Transaction along with path
Else Go to Particular Node say Create Purchasing Group and Right Click on Node and Select Display Technical Info and in ID tab the Last four Charecters wud be the Trxn code.
In SPRO-IMG screen Only Few Nodes will Show / have the Transaction codes.

go to TNAPR table and find the driver program for the layout.
give the layout name, if you know the output type also give it.
OR
go to se71 and go to the layout , check the text elements syntax then it will show the possible driver programs in the window to choose.
that way you can find..
Or else...
Go to the Tcode -> NACE
OR
Go to the T-code 'SMARTFORMs'
Give your form name
go to the general attributes.
Check the Package name.
then go to T-Code-> SE80
there check the program name for a package wise

Hi,
In se 38 when u open ur program,in the application toolbar u have a button beside the where-used list button as display object list.on clicking this button,a window will be opened at the left most corner for repository browser,in this u can find any tranasctions,fileds,screens,dictionary structures defined for the program.
if any transaction is created for the program u can find it under the transaction folder.
revert back for further queries.

If you go to the Properties for the Folder in Discoverer Administrator, there is a Dependents tab that should list any workbooks using the folder. This only works for workbooks saved to the database, so won't help with any created using Discoverer Desktop. If you are gathering statistics and have the The Discoverer V5 EUL business area and its workbooks installed, it can tell you about Folders Used as well. It contains information about queries run whether the workbook is saved to the database or to the file system, but wouldn't contain inforamation about workbooks that had been created but not run.

For reporting purposes, you can use the virtual InfoCube 0BCS_VC11 u2013 Consolidation (Company/Consolidation Profit Center). It shares the same structure as InfoCube 0BCS_C11.

As there are no other SQL features installed on the server except for reporting.
Is there any GUI or CLI command to check this ?

Do not open cluster administrator since SSRS cannot take advantage of Windows Clustering Services.
You need see if the Network Load Balancing manager (NLB) (windows feature) is installed on the SSRS computer and open
it to see if a NLB cluster has been configured.

Create an object library
An object library exists as a named file on disk. When you create an object library, you specify where to store it. When you open a library, it appears as a panel that you can group with any other panel; the object library’s file name appears in its panel tab. Closing an object library removes it from the current session, but doesn’t delete its file.

Choose File > New > Library.
Specify a location and name for the library, and click Save. Remember that the name you specify becomes the name of the library’s panel tab.
Open an existing library

If you are considering Reporting Manager as appraiser.
First get pernr, find out position ID from the infotype 0001, check the relationship A002 maintained for the appraisee's position (HRP1001), and finally to find out Appraiser ID check the relationship A008 (HRP1001) of the appraiser's position.

Hi,
You can use the statistics Cube 0BWTCT_C02. To get the Frequency of how many times a report has been executed, drill down the particular report by 0CALDAY and the frequency in 0FREQUENCY Keyfigure.

How to find licence for Hyperion Software

I want "Essbase Application Manager" for one of my team member but somehow our desktop support team is not able to find this software in their catalog . I think name of the software may be changed.
I have same software on my desktop but it is inside "Hyperion Solutions" SOftware . Does anyone have any idea on my situatuin.
Is there any Hyperion product in which I can ""Essbase Application Manager" for my day to day work
Also I want to find licence for the Hyperion SOLutions software on my desktop. Can anyone tell me how I can find it ?

What version of Essbase are you running? I think Application Manager was decommissioned in Version 6 (although it might have been Version 7). It was replaced by Essbase Administration Services(EAS). Application Manager does not need a license as it is just an administrative tool for Essbase. For the license number again it depends on the version. Later version do not have a license number, earlier versions do. In some cases you can get it from App Manager by getting server properties and it will show you. In other versions, you would start Essbase in foreground and it will show you the license as it starts. Essbase 7.16, System 9.3.1 and Version 11 do not have licenses that you have to enter.
