How to find my Aperture Publishes Site?

I created some web pages and publishes to .Mac via Aperture. How do I go and look at these pages? How do I delete the site? I don't see them in my .Mac account.

Open your iDisk, then open the Sites folder. You should find a set of folders with the names you gave your pages when you published them. Within those folders, double click the index.html file and it should take you to your pages.

I recently lost a drive and was only able to salvage my documents folder in which I had saved a copy of an already published iWeb site. How do I relink these files? The site is fully funktional and I have all the files on the same computer...I've reinstalled the app..Now what???

The file that you need is in your domain.sites file, it lives here:
User / Library / Application Support / iWeb / Domain.sites
If you dont have this file, then you cannot do anything other than start again, maybe copy paset from the published site.
All you need to do is put your old domain.sites file in the location above and open iWeb.
You may need to create the /iWeb folder, to do this open iWeb, add a page, any page and then Quit iWeb. This creates a domain file in the /iWeb folder and tells iWeb where to look for it. Delete this new domain file and replace it with your old one.

Please go through by below details.
GwHost - Hostname of the BW server (BW server Name)
GwServ - Gateway of BW server (e.g. 3300 or sapgw00)
ProgID - Program ID of Registered Server Program defined for RFC destination (SM59) on BW server (Logon on the SAP BW by SAP GUI and go to the transaction SM59.You can get the ProgID from SM59.)
Or you can ask to the your Basis consultant for more details.

How to find out if published Free iBooks have been downloaded by anyone?

I have published several free iBooks but have no idea if anyone else beside me has downloaded any of them in the 32 stores where it was supposedly published. Judging from what I have to go through before I download my book to my iPad it's not easy to find the book and then it's quite slow to download it. Anyone wants to share his or hers experience?

First open iBook Author.
Top RIGHT of page you will see four icons, the first a blue circle with " i " opens the Inspector.
Clicking that open a options box, click the first icon, looking like a blank page, which opens the options =Author, Title, keywords, comments The keywords you enter there are helpful in finding your book. There are other more knowledgable than me who can perhaps explain better.
This is part answer to you saying your book is hard to find in searches.
Same applies to CATAGORIES when you are filling in the iTunes Producer package details, think about which are relevant and include any and ALL that you think fit your book content.

You can use MulticastSocket to send a packet to a group. And let your servers respond to the packet by replying to the sender. And sender should count the replies and save the inetAddr of the replier(your server). Then you have your server count and where they are running. For more info look at MulticastSocket api doc.

Can't find domain file, or load published site

I have a site published to mobile me - sitename- and i later made some changes that i didnt want to push live to mobile me, so i published to a local folder and changed the name to sitename_alt. I closed iweb and wanted to load the site that is live, but i don't see any file open command or how to load the mobileme published site.
I found my domain file but when i click it, it opens the sitename_alt site, yet the mobile me site is still on live on mobile me ! I take it there is no "save as" scheme like on every other application in OSX ? Have i lost my ability to work on my sitename mobile me live site ?

Publishing your site to a local folder on your desktop is not saving it - this is html and iWeb can do nothing with this as it has no import facility.
The only way to update sites is via your domain.sites file found under User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites.
If you don't have this file then you will have to re-build your site from scratch.

How to find aperture library and copy to dvd...

Hi, I know this is very basic but can someone tell me how to find my aperture library and what I do to copy it correctly onto a DVD? Then I have to install it on my desktop. All this is because I took over 1000 pictures at the coast recently and I need to transfer them to my desktop and would like to keep the changes I made... I didn't hear back from anyone but looked back at some other discussions and figured it out. All worked smoothly but I upload to zenfolio and now there is a problem with that. I don't think it has anything to do with apple... must be zenfolio's issue.

Reloading iWeb with a previously published site

I published my Site using iWeb to my .mac sites folder, and then wound up reinstalling my operating system. How can I get my published site back into iWeb so i can continue updating it? Please tell me i dont have to start over.

Hopefully you made a backup or did an Archive & Install before reinstalling your OS....
If you did, then you should have a copy of your domain.site file, it lives here: User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.site. (.site doesn't normally show)
Place this copy in a safe place somewhere else, this is your web site! (This, as with all regular backup procedures is good practice when playing)
1. You have made a copy of your existing domain.site file
2. Open iWeb, the new version.... Add a new site / page, then do File > Save. (This tells iWeb where the domain file should be, you are creating a new one)
3. Next quit iWeb,
4. Swap the new domain file for your old one which you copied and saved somewhere safe.
5. Reopen iWeb and you should see your old site.

How do i add to a published site?

i am defeated...
how do i access an iWeb site i have published to add another page? i launched iWeb and the "visit a published site" is grayed out. i can only find my site by clicking on the link in an e-mail i sent announcing it, and then i am only viewing it as anybody else would. i would like to know if i can build upon or edit a published site. and where is the link to .mac on the new apple site?

thank you for the quick response. i erased and my drive and re-installed almost everything in the hopes of rectifying an ongoing and annoying problem and i don't have the AppSupport>iweb pathway available to me. how do i find a link to log onto .mac when i re-publish this my iWeb site to .mac?

How come my comments are visible in iweb but not on published site?

I published my site (after many frustrating attempts and publish errors) and had allowed comments. I made a blog entry and published to .mac and found out from a friend that that particular entry didn't have an option to add a comment. I tried to republish many times - I don't know how it happened but the comment option showed up eventually. I had the same thing happen again today so I tried publishing again but this time I tried publishing to a folder. Not sure if this caused the problem but now one comment on the blog disappeared and the rest are only visible in iweb and not on the published site - on the published site there isn't an opportunity to add comments where they used to be. Can I get the comments back on my site?

if i follow that, i get the rating column displayed in my catalog site. How can i bring it on my publishing site and let the customers give rating or review for the product from publishing site. Is there any OOTB feature in sharepoint or it shoul be customized.

Are you using the Content Search Web Part? Just tweaking that once the source library has had the rating column applied should work. Have you tried this?

Publish site with muse to temp site but then Business Catalyst replaces site with Coming Soon. How d

Hello. I will try to repeat my steps to find the issue:
I create a new site from scratch on business catalyst so I can choose the package with the blog and ecommerce.
I then create the site in Muse and publish it to the domain I created when I created the new site in Business Catalyst.
I add some modules to my Muse design and publish.
Everything works for a while but then later the Muse published site is replaced with Business Catalyst's default "Coming Soon" graphic.
How do I stop this from happening?

Ok, I figured out what is happening, though I still don't know how to correct it.
If the temp domain is put in without the index - http://bloomingarden.businesscatalyst.com - I get the coming soon graphic.
If I add the index.html - http://bloomingarden.businesscatalyst.com/index.html the site shows up.
How do I get the site to show up when just the domain is put in without the index.html?

How to find the table in which data from a structure sits

I want to know how to find the exact table where data sitting in various structures during runtime are stored.
For instance,in ME23N we have various tabs and data in those are held in various structures. This we can see by checking the technical setting of each field.
I want to know in which table the data is actually stored for each field and how to find them.
Any other means other than using "WHERE USED" option?

After checking for technical field from the screen, when you reach out to structure, you can dbl click on the particular field's data element. From this data-element you can get to know in which tables it is used. Also if the data element refers to some master data field then you can check out its domain and in the domain you can refer the<b> value table</b> for that domain. This is what i will do if i am not sure about anything.
