How to find 'OS user' used by Oracle Reports when report output is written

Hi ,
I would like to find the 'OS User' used by concurrent manager when a Report output is written on the OS file system after the report run is completed. The report is registered as a concurrent program in Oracle Application environment.
Any help would be appreciated.Pls respond urgently.

There is only one OS user that creates reports out and log files, that is applSID, the owner of the applications filesystems. The only other OS user that creates files in an Oracle Applications environment is oracle (or oraSID) if a stored procedure creates a file via utl_file_dir, or external table etc.

How to find out User Exit in particular program.
I mean if you have one profile, how to find is there any user exits in that program.

You could try searching the main program for "userexit_"
This would give you a list of all the available user exits within the application.
For Customer exits, you could search SMOD with a short description ex: order in the F4 help. Another way is to search for CUSTOMER-FUNCTION in the main program. You can then navigate to the enhancement in the customer function and use the Z Program in the enhancement.

BP should ne maintained for the user in satellite system as a identification in solman system.
how you are trying to create a message in satellite system..
if you are using help-> create support message then, you can get the message log details on the table BCOS_PROT.

Hi Varisetty,
Finding user exits and BAdis from SPRO can be cumbsersome. In most instances you know the standard SAP program and want to check (find) an exit called in the flow of the transaction. You can do this as follows:
For User Exit:
Put "/h" in the command box (to start debugging)
Execute your transaction
When you enter debugging - put a breakpoint at statement
CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION
the control will stop at all calls to User Exits
For BAdi (it's simpler)
Go to class CL_EXITHANDLER in SE24
Enter method GET_INSTANCE
Put a breakpoint in this method
Run your standard transaction - control will stop at all BAdis called within the flow since this method is used to check BAdi implementations before invoking them
Also, if you want to find enhancements by package - go to SE80, enter the package and check function groups starting with X - those contain function exits (conventional user exits). For BAdis in a package, there is normally a separate tree node (under the package) for Enhancements hence clearly identifiable.

If the user has used the manage option to delete the contents of the DSO then the changed by field will be updated by the users name. In case a program is used for the deletion then it wont be the case.

Connect to the forms server.
In the $AU_TOP/resource directory run the following...
strings -a <NAMEOFFILE>.plx | grep '$Header'
For example...
To find the .pld version of INVAMCAP.plx I would run this on the forms server.
cd $AU_TOP/resource
strings -a INVAMCAP.plx | grep '$Header'
This will return the .pld version.

you can get it from transaction SECR ofcourse you are executing the same report.

Select (Define) Step (s) or F6.
Select the line and Menu Goto>Variant.
The variant contains the name of the CHAIN and its VARIANT.
Success
We faced an old job and via job monitoring we were informed about a cancelled job every 'interval'.
We noticed that the related chain was deleted but still the job was scheduled each interval again and was cancelled because an event was missing
We could not find the scheduled job via SM37.
Via view V_OP, view over tbtco abd tbtcp, we find the related entry.
We delete these entries via function BP_JOB_DELETE....

In the base EntityIml class, just override doDML() method as I said.

So, put a some flag in the session.
You should not call doDML() method in backing bean, it will be called by framework.
In the backing bean, you only have to get that information from the session, as follows:
